What this is

A structured collection with editorial context

This collection is designed to make the spiritual legacy of the True Parents easier to navigate, compare, search, and study. Instead of presenting isolated texts without context, this page explains the scope of the archive, where the materials come from, how they are translated, and how readers can evaluate the collection as a whole.

Collection logic

How the archive works

  1. Gather Collect public books, speeches, sermons, and community-documented materials relevant to the tradition.
  2. Index Organize texts by author, topic, book, and searchable passage so readers can move from overview to detail.
  3. Translate Bring Korean-source material into readable English while keeping room for correction and refinement.
  4. Explain Add metadata, structure, and methodology so the collection itself becomes understandable and trustworthy.

Original language, translation, and revision notes

Many of the original source texts in this collection come from Korean materials. For accessibility, they are presented in English, often using translations prepared by disciples and followers when those are the available English-language versions. Because such translations may contain minor inaccuracies, variations in wording, or interpretive differences, Korean source materials are also consulted whenever possible to clarify meaning and improve accuracy. In this way, the collection relies on existing English translations while also using Korean originals to refine and verify the text. Readers are encouraged to report mistakes or inconsistencies so the collection can continue to be reviewed and improved.

Methodology

How materials are selected and presented

1. Source base
The site draws from publicly available sources, official books, large speech archives, and open-access or community-shared supporting materials that help preserve the legacy of the founders and their tradition.
2. Editorial framing
The value of the collection is not only in hosting texts, but in making them easier to discover, compare, and understand through indexing, categorization, author pages, book pages, and thematic navigation.
3. Translation transparency
Translation is treated as an ongoing editorial task rather than a hidden process. Where source material originates in Korean, the archive presents the English text with a visible acknowledgment that refinement and correction may still be needed.
4. Reader trust
This page exists to help readers understand the size, scope, provenance, and editorial approach of the archive. That transparency makes the collection more useful for study, citation, and long-term preservation.
Editorial Note

True Parents Legacy is an independent initiative built to preserve and make accessible the words and legacy of the True Parents. It includes both official and unofficial materials, may contain translation errors, and welcomes correction where needed.
