True Parents Legacy is an independent volunteer initiative dedicated to preserving and making accessible the words and legacy of Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. This page explains who we are, where our materials come from, how we translate them, and how we maintain accuracy.

An independent volunteer initiative since 2024
True Parents Legacy is built and maintained by a small team of volunteer members of the Unification movement, with first-hand experience of Hoon Dok Hae, the Blessing, and personal study of Korean source texts. We are not an institutional translator and have no formal ties with the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU).
Our team consists of volunteer editors, translators, and researchers who began this archive in 2024 to make these teachings accessible to English-speaking seekers worldwide. Our work is unpaid and independent, motivated by personal devotion to preserving these materials with care, accuracy, and openness to correction.

Source identification
We locate the original text in Korean or English archives, verifying its provenance and dating it as accurately as possible. Where the exact date is unknown, we use the closest verified date or year.

Translation
Korean materials are translated into English by volunteer translators with first-hand experience of Unification practice. Translations preserve theological precision while remaining readable.

Editorial review
Each entry is reviewed for accuracy, formatting, and consistency with our citation patterns. Cross-references to original sources are added where possible.

Cross-referencing
Every text is connected to its original source (book, volume, date, location), tagged by topic and author, and linked to related entries for navigation.

Publication & correction
Once published, entries remain open to correction. Readers can report errors at any time, and our team reviews and updates content based on feedback.

Korean → English approach
Translation is treated as an ongoing editorial task, not a one-time process. Where source material originates in Korean, we present the English text alongside transparent notes about our approach.
