Ecclesiastes 7:23-29

Prayer

Father, please be with us during this hour You have granted. Since this is a time when heaven and earth cannot find their center and seek to bring the contest of life and death to its conclusion, Father, please bless us.

We are human beings who have lost the center of heart, who have lost the center of mind, who have lost the center of body, who have lost the center of life, of society, of nation, of world, and of the heavenly law of kinship. Father, at this hour, please let us feel that we are such beings of resentment.

How pitiful are human beings who, having lost everything, struggle even to live? Although they boast of having grasped something, that too must be lost; although they sing of the authority of their selves and boast of glory, that too must be lost. Human beings, with the mind, acknowledge that their value is infinitely great, yet are placed in a wretched position where, having lost their true value, they must live yearning for that value. Father, You know us all too well as such beings.

To find what was lost, Father has labored, and we too have labored. Yearning for the lost Word, we have come forth struggling, but we have not found that Word. Although we have struggled to find the lost human being, we have not found that human being. Because we have not found that one human being, we have not found the standard of one body, one mind, and one heart.

Therefore we have not found one family with which to live together with You; and because we have not found such a family, such a society, nation, and world have nowhere been seen, and the world has become one that only adds to Your sorrow. Father, how can we not lament this?

My Father, how sorrowful You have been? My Father, how grieved You have been? My Father, how lamenting You have been? We who are unworthy ought to gather to remove a portion of Your worry, to remove sorrow and add joy; yet today again we stand in a wretched position, adding sorrow to Father. Please forgive us.

It has been said that You are the embodiment of love and glory and patience. Knowing that You are the One who has borne all the good names and bad names of the earth, even when we are sorrowful, You are with us; when we are pleased, You are with us; when we are challenged, You are with us; when we rejoice, You are with us.

There is no one on this earth who knows the sorrow of Father, who must, in such a position, be both friend and parent. There is no true filial son who knows that sorrow of Father, no true filial daughter.

Realizing that there is no sorrow more sorrowful than this, and realizing that there is no fact more lamentable than this, we have gathered to become friends of Your sorrow, gathered to hold fast to Your lonely heart and shed tears together with You and suffer together with You; therefore, at this hour, please come to seek us.

Whom have we gathered to gaze upon?

Father! Please do not let us be those who have gathered to gaze upon some person, and do not let us be those who have gathered out of yearning for someone.

We have come yearning for You; we have come bringing only this one heart of wishing to be close to You, of wishing to draw near to the throne of Heaven; and because this is the foundation of yearning, we have moved our footsteps to this place; therefore, we earnestly desire and beseech that You bless this place and be with us.

What further word shall we say now? Until this day, this hour, much has been spoken. Knowing that I must bear responsibility for what was spoken, Father, please be with us in this. The people on this earth do not know that we stand in a position where, the heavenly time drawing near, we cannot but speak. Please make Your sons and daughters gathered here truly know this fact. We earnestly desire and beseech that You permit us to live with the Word, to put the Word into practice, and to harmonize with the Word to set up the standard of life as a whole.

We have not gathered at this hour for the sake of anything of the world. We have gathered to pour out all our devotion and render all our loyalty to draw near Father's nation of glory, and we have gathered to console Father, who has crossed the ridge of sorrow; therefore, please do not let us stand again at this hour in the position of indebted children.

We earnestly desire and beseech that we may become Heaven's sons and daughters who, with a face of joy for Father's sake, can call out, “My Father,” who, uniting mind and body, with earnest heart can call out, “My Father.”

We have come to know that this alone is Father's wish, this alone is Father's Will; therefore, Father, please permit this hour to be one hour of grace. We earnestly entreat that You permit this hour to be one in which, meeting Father, we wipe away the tears of sorrow and, overflowing with joy, can sing thanksgiving and glory; permit this to be an hour in which we can resolve and determine to come forth as the substantial body of pledge in place of the words You have commanded and in place of all things of heaven and earth.

When we earnestly entreat that, by the grace given and the words granted, only an earnest heart of seeking to draw near Father be brought to life at this hour in the heart of each one, we have prayed all these words in the name of the Lord. Amen.

Today I shall speak under the title “The Happy Multitude.”

On this earth, the “happy person” usually refers to “one who has what others do not have.” People also call “one who has joy that others do not have” a happy person. We, too, may call a happy person “one who has something he can boast of before any being or any creature in heaven and on earth.”

Today, countless human beings hope to be happy. Your coming here today is as well for the sake of a happiness greater than the one in which you live now. In other words, you have come seeking to form a bond with the world of mind and heart, going beyond the everyday happiness of life.

This is something both you and others publicly recognize. And the desire of us human beings, born on this earth, living, and going, is to long for happiness greater tomorrow than today, greater the day after than tomorrow, greater next year than this year, and beyond a single lifetime to be happy eternally.

Unhappy Human Beings

If God exists, what would that God have wished for the creation?

God wished that the creation also be where He is, and when God rejoices, the creation also rejoices with Him. We can think that He created all things from such a position.

We are born on this earth by some bond we do not know. Borrowing the noun of religion, we may simply say of ourselves, "We who were created.” Thus, if we are creation, there must be an Absolute who created us, and that One is called God.

Then, between God and us human beings created by Him, what kind of relationship is there that today's human beings have come to be like this? Did God create us imperfectly, or is the God who created us imperfect? Such twists and turns are wrapped up in present-day human beings.

It is said that God is a being most exalted and most good. To say “most exalted and most good,” all the ideal elements of our life must be contained therein. Moreover, we may declare that He must be furnished with content that can fully satisfy the feelings of intellect, emotion, and will that flow from the human mind.

Only thus can God exist as our absolute Subject, as the center of the absolute purpose, and further, exist as substance. But here, some condition has intervened that does not allow human beings to form a bond with the being of most exalted and most good, the being at the highest absolute standard, and that condition is called evil, and the formation of that condition is called the Fall.

Among all things of heaven and earth that God created, none exists without purpose. Even one bacterium, however minute a creature, is so made that it carries on its life for some purpose.

You must recognize that we, too, from the moment we received the flesh and blood of our parents and were born, have, even unbeknownst to ourselves, existed as one material for accomplishing the purpose of the great heavenly law of kinship that has kept us alive and taught us.

If a time were to come when the material was needed for some purpose, that material could become one with the substance of some purpose; only then would the material exhibit one hundred percent of its value, and only then could the material satisfy the conditions it requires and the purpose it aims at. Likewise, for human beings, only when such a time comes can one be said to be happy.

Yet today, when we lay our minds open, lay our hearts open, and analyze in detail any sphere of our life, although the noun “happiness” exists, we do not possess anything to boast of as our happiness. Not only do we not have anything to boast of as our happiness, but we who do not have any precious thing that others can look upon as happy.

God set up the great cosmic purpose and created all things, but if, after the human being has accomplished that purpose, sorrow continues again, I do not want such a creation.

If accomplishing the purpose of creation involves suffering, all would dislike it. Therefore, even if there are sorrowful and painful things after the purpose of creation is fulfilled, they cannot be called sorrow and pain. They may rather become material that stimulates joy, an element that may form life; they cannot become an element that governs life and tramples upon happy joy.

When we think that there is not one person on this earth in such a position, we can conclude that all who live on the earth are unhappy.

When we think that we ourselves stand in such a position, we seem to have something, but in fact, we have nothing. Although we boast of ourselves, we have nothing to boast of in ourselves.

Even if we have a life of our own, that life cannot become any material before the ideal of the great cosmos or before the world of happiness of the great cosmos.

Even if we have a prepared personality, a prepared ideal, and something to boast of, since these have nothing whatever to do with the ideal of the great cosmos, we cannot but be unhappy.

Things Human Beings Have Lost

We have all lost. We are valueless beings who cannot establish ourselves in this heaven and earth. Therefore, what is the end of our hope as we go forth seeking happiness?

It is to find again what was lost. Within my heart, there is something like goodness, but there is no supreme goodness. There is something like love, but there is no supreme love. There is something like truth, but there is no supreme truth.

If we possessed the supreme truth, then wherever we stayed and whatever environment we were in, people would welcome us and like us. But seeing that this is not so, although I have the elements by which I can be good, I have not become the very substance of goodness, and although I have the elements by which I can be happy, I am not truly a happy “I.” We have all lost.

Centering on what has all been lost? Centering on the eternal supreme happiness, all has been lost. You must know this.

Look. The creation, who must by all rights know that there is a Creator, that is, that there is God, does not know.

If we are human beings born endowed with the intellect, emotion, and will of the Creator, we must commune in emotion, will, and mind with that Creator. But on what are you bonded? Upon this lump of flesh? No.

If this lump of flesh were bonded with God, the Subject of happiness, this lump of flesh would have to be satisfied, but it is not satisfied. The mind, too, is not satisfied. The heart, too, is not satisfied. All has been lost.

From this perspective, having lost the kernel, human beings struggle to hold the empty husk. We must know that those who have striven to resolve the question of how to fill this are those walking the path of the Way, and the sages and worthies.

Then what have human beings lost?

First, we have lost God. The loss of God is the greatest of the losses we have suffered.

If there is a Master who came and sought this heaven and earth, and human beings have lost that Master, then from that moment, human beings become traitors before that Master. Human beings should attend the original Master with whom they can form a profound bond of the heart, but they have lost that One.

By having lost Him and not attending to Him, human beings have done that which cannot be received before the heavenly law of kinship — they have become traitors.

Do you know that, somewhere in your mind, in your cells, in your emotions, God exists? You do not. You may conceptually recognize it, but you do not stand in a position prepared with the content whereby, recognizing God at the level of the heart, one can say, “God is here,” “God dwells within us.”

If there is a sorrowful matter on this earth, what among sorrowful matters is the most sorrowful? It is to have lost God. And what is the most painful?

Even though one wishes to meet God, one cannot. Being beaten and treated with contempt is not the most painful. To be unable to meet, at one's wish, the One whom one yearns for, longs to see, and longs to meet — that is what is painful.

Sorrow is that, suffering is that, and indignation is that. Within the bond by which one could meet, not being able to meet — there is no greater grievance than this. You will have experienced this in the course of your lives.

Although it is said that human beings until now have grieved, have suffered, have walked the historical course of indignation, those things were not to bring sorrow, suffering, and indignation upon human beings. They were so that human beings, who have lost the Substance, who have lost the Master, might inherit God's sorrow, suffering, and indignation.

Then where lies the origin of suffering and sorrow? Apart from the historical origin, where lies the principled origin? When we look into it, the cause lies in the loss of God.

Therefore, although you yourself do not know it well, deep in my heart, the hand of creation of the God who created humanity and all things is bonded. That bond, transcending my body and transcending the environment, gathers us up toward some goal. That is why, although in the past people were scattered and divided, now bit by bit they are oriented toward the one place where the heart can rejoice. That is why this world, too, is being gathered into one ideal world.

When that one ideal world comes, the mind takes its place. At the same time as the mind takes its place, the cry, “Infinitely joyful!”, explodes from within you and resounds throughout this whole heaven and earth.

On the day when this comes about, even though confined behind iron bars, made a prisoner, in a place of suffering, the shout will burst forth, “I am happy.” Such a thing must appear in the historical course.

Therefore, every religion says, Gladly accept suffering. Every religion. They say, Gladly accept sorrow. And then they put forth the world of the mind. They have submitted everything before that world of mind.

Therefore, you must know that the time when one must gather and gather all things, charging head-on toward the original world of mind, is the Last Days. You must know that the time when, centering on Heaven, the two must be joined and become one is the Last Days.

We hope to become happy. To become happy, what must we first do? We must find what was lost. First, we must find God. If there is a place where the lost God can be found, you must, sacrificing all things, run toward that place.

Through the Fall, what else did human beings lose along with God?

They lost God's hope. What is God's hope?

After God created all things of heaven and earth, He set up Adam and Eve as the masters there and blessed them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and have dominion over all these things,” and God hoped that human beings would fulfill this blessing.

On the day when human beings fulfill this blessing (God's wish), God becomes Adam and Eve's Father, and Adam and Eve become His son and daughter. “God's son and daughter” — this is not a fictitious noun. If this is a fictitious noun, then everything in Christianity is a lie.

God's Will Concerning Adam and Eve

God, having created the young Adam and Eve, hoped that they would grow to maturity and govern all things of heaven and earth. He hoped that they would govern not by word, but by love centered upon His heart.

Therefore, God hoped that Adam, calling Eve “bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh,” would face Eve with a heart of love. And He hoped that Eve, not as an immature sister regarding Adam merely as her older brother and serving him, would attend Adam at the level of heart, calling him “Bridegroom of bridegrooms, body of my body in the place of Father.”

God, who looked upon such an hour of hope, created them so that, in such a place of hope, Adam and Eve, having attained true love of God, could say, “Adam is my eternal husband, and Eve is my eternal bride. We have come to know that this is Father's wish,” might govern this great nature as father and mother.

Creation also hopes to be governed thus. Romans 8 says that, by the Fall of human beings, the lamentation of Heaven came to be, the lamentation of human beings came to be, the lamentation of all things came to be — because of human beings.

All creation was so created as to hope to be governed by the hand of Adam and Eve, who had become True Parents able to commune through God's true love. But Adam and Eve could not advance to such a place and fell. This is the Fall.

Therefore, although countless people live in this heaven and earth today, when one asks whether there is anyone who, with a heart so earnest as to melt the marrow of his bones, calls out “Father” toward God, there is none. Have any of you thought such things? There is none.

There has not been one person on this earth who, advancing to a position higher than the unfallen Adam and Eve, faced God and called Him Father, saying, “God! Isn't your heart thus? Is not your heart thus and so?” Can you think there was such a person?

God hoped. He hoped that Adam and Eve, fulfilling the blessing that was God's hope, would come before God and become true ancestors of humanity who could say, “Father! My Father!" But God could not meet such a true ancestor of humanity. Even among their descendants, he could not meet such a person. There is none.

The Father called by today's believers is a Father in name only, in word only. He is not a Father called from the place of melting marrow through the heart. There is no person who calls Father from such a place.

That is why God came searching for such a person. He came forth, making His position known to human beings, and at the same time making known His value and the relationship between human beings and Himself.

The 6,000-year history is the history of the fight to make known to fallen humanity that human beings are in the relationship of parent and child with Him. It is nothing else.

You speak of the crown of righteousness or whatever crown—I do not desire that.

What I desire is to call out “My Father!” toward God in the place of unfallen Adam and Eve, in the place where I have fulfilled God's wish, for which He earnestly longed at the level of the heart. That place is the highest place that human life can hope for.

Such a place of the heart is not to be found, however much one searches the historical course. However much one searches the sixty-six books of the Bible, it is not there. Since the Bible is the record after the Fall, would it not be so? Think rationally.

Then, where has the garden of the heart that was before the Fall gone? Where has the world of bonds, the high position before the Fall, in which one could enjoy and rejoice with God, gone? It has been lost.

Adam and Eve fell not from the position of receiving God's love, of receiving from God the recognition, “You are my eternal son and daughter,” of having even the archangel submit before them, of having all phenomena obey their command, of being able to be put forth boldly to govern all heaven and earth. They fell from the position of being dragged about by the archangel. They fell from a position where, as the children of the Master, they had not yet prepared the position and authority of children.

What is Satan? He is the fallen archangel. The countless humans living on this earth today, since they are held in Satan's hand, wherever they go, Satan follows them, and they are placed in a position where they must always be tested by Satan.

It is a resentful matter. Therefore, God seeks the original son and daughter who can trample down this damnable world, blot out this damnable world, and govern and command Satan, and further, even command the archangel. This is the central Will of God. But, ignorant even of this Will, you say that if you believe, you will be saved? Salvation is not so simple.

Human Beings Who Have Lost the Father of Body and Spirit

To have lost God is to have lost the great Sovereign of all the cosmos. Furthermore, it is to have lost our Father. This Father is not such a father as we call only during the brief hundred or so years that we wear flesh. He is the Father whom we call eternally.

Eternally, when He rejoices, we must rejoice; when He grieves, we must grieve. This is brought to its conclusion on Earth. Therefore, the place where one who, while living on earth, kept the path of the Way, the path of faith, in a position where God could rejoice, is the Kingdom of Heaven; and the place where one who lived in a position where God grieved is hell. Yet we are living in a position where God grieves. Such a twist came about by the Fall.

We must know that we are a humanity that has lost everything. We have lost the great Sovereign, God — that is, our eternal Father. Then we have lost the father of life. We have two fathers. God the Father, and the Father who bore us. These two fathers are different. How are they different? The Father who created me is the eternal Father; the Father who bore me is the Father of life, the earthly Father.

Together with losing God, we have lost the earthly father. You may say, “What is meant by 'lost God,' and what is meant by 'lost father'?" I have my father—what does this man mean by saying he has lost his father?” But look.

Who are unfallen Adam and Eve?

They are the True Ancestors of humanity. The True Father and True Mother. The True Parents of humanity bearing flesh. Yet because Adam and Eve fell, humanity has become Satan's descendants.

If Adam and Eve had not fallen but had entered the position of receiving God's blessing and become a house in which God could dwell, today's human beings would be those who have a father.

If so, all could go to the Kingdom of Heaven without believing in Jesus. Even religion would not be needed. Why would it not be needed? Because nothing on earth can take away the sons and daughters born through the bond of heart with the original Father.

Do you understand what this means?

Sons and daughters born through the True Parents, who have become one with the heart of God, sons and daughters who can run to Him at the level of heart, calling, “Father!” — neither Satan's love, of course, nor any kind of love can take them away.

By what could one turn the heart of a loyal subject?

By what could one turn the heart of a filial son or daughter? By what could one turn the heart of a faithful wife? Only by entering such a position, where one cannot be turned by anything, does one become a person who can be put forth before the heavenly law of kinship.

If Adam and Eve had not fallen but had, through the original heart of God, in God's joy, held the holy ceremony as good man and good woman, become the True Parents of humanity, all things would have harmonized with Adam and Eve and willingly become objects needed in their family.

Thus, if Adam and Eve could have sung happiness, become the True Parents of humanity who could attend God as eternal Father, become the exemplary true couple of humanity, and become true children before God, no one could take them away. Because the Master is one. The Master of the heart is also one, and the Master of love is also one. That One is God.

Together with losing God, we have lost the Father, lost the True Parents. I once prayed thus: “Father, what need is there of my flesh? Why can't my father be the Savior to me? Although he is the parent who bore me, why can't he be the Savior?”

If there were a human being on this earth who had such parents (True Parents), he would be happy without believing in Jesus and without receiving salvation. Have you ever offered such a prayer?

Originally, it should have been so. But because of the Fall, the Savior is needed. If the world had become such, it would be a world of happiness. That world would be the Kingdom of Heaven. As I have come to know, this historical twist began with our ancient ancestors.

That is why today humanity struggles. Today, humanity has lost God, who has lost the parent-child bond with God, and at the same time, who, in himself, has neither a true father bearing flesh nor a mother.

Do those of you here have such parents?

You are people who do not have true parents — bearing both spirit and flesh — whom God can publicly recognize.

Human Beings Who Must Be Reborn

Do you know who Jesus is?

He is the latter Adam. Look at 1 Corinthians 15:45. He called Jesus the latter Adam. Then there must be a latter Eve as well — who is the latter Eve?

Christianity has spoken of the Holy Spirit symbolically; the Holy Spirit is the Mother Spirit. She is the latter Eve. Because Eve, the mother of humanity, fell, the Holy Spirit, the Mother Spirit, was sent as the latter Eve.

Just as one must patch up a hole that has been pierced through, just as one must go to the place where something was lost to find it, because of Eve, all the human beings on this earth entered the world of death; the Holy Spirit must come and undergo the labor of giving birth again.

The Bible says that women are saved through childbearing (1 Tim. 2:15). This is not said concerning women living on earth today. It is said concerning Eve.

If Eve had not fallen and had become the True Ancestor of humanity, she would have borne good sons and daughters on this earth, but she fell and bore Satan's children; therefore, unless Eve gives birth again, human beings cannot be saved.

So the Holy Spirit, bearing this mission, has, until today, held fast to all humanity and is undergoing all the labor of giving birth. Only when that childbearing is finished can Eve be saved, and the Holy Spirit's mission end. Looking into it, that is how it is. It is not “it would be so,” but “it is so.” If you cannot believe, try a definitive prayer.

What is resurrection?

It is to live again. Because we died, we must live again. What is rebirth? It is to be born again. Jesus is the Father of humanity, the Bridegroom; the Holy Spirit is the Mother of humanity, the Bride.

When human beings, receiving the bond of bride, long for the Lord Jesus, the Bridegroom, and say they cannot live without Jesus and cannot live without the Holy Spirit, then, when Jesus and the Holy Spirit meet on the spiritual plane, the seed of eternal life is again injected into human beings, and rebirth takes place.

Within the principle of heaven and earth, is there any way to bear sons and daughters apart from the love of parents? There is not. If a hole has come into being, it must be patched. It must be matched up. To do such work, God sent Jesus.

Because Adam could not fulfill his responsibility as father, the One who came as Father, bearing substance, to carry out that mission is Jesus. Jesus is the Savior and at the same time, the Father of human beings. He is the substantial True Father.

Only when the True Father, whom human beings have lost, is again established can one ride the principled track of the law of heaven and earth and enter. Heaven, centering on the absolute principle and law, sets up the law, and only when the standard that can fulfill that law is prepared can He carry out all things.

Although we live on the earth, we have lost the True Parents. You are without True Parents. Look—even the Bible says, "You who are like orphans and widows.” Do you have no mother? Do you have no parents? Do you have no bridegroom? You have all of them. Then why is it so?

From the standpoint of God's ideal of creation, since you have not formed a bond with the True Parents, you are an orphan. Having lost your parents, you are an orphan. Why a widow? Because you have not formed a bond with the true Bridegroom, Jesus, you are a widow. To gather an issue, you must gather it from its cause. Even the affairs of the world are so.

However much one tries from the tip end, it cannot be gathered. To clarify the source of all religion, one must set out from the very top, from Adam and Eve. A theology that cannot resolve religious issues from this point will perish. It will become a traitor before Heaven. Such theology may even produce traitors before Heaven. However much it has prepared and equipped itself, it is judged before Heaven.

We must unravel the twists and turns of Adam and Eve in Genesis 1. You must pass through the gate of heart — how earnest was God's heart in facing Adam and Eve before the Fall, in facing Adam and Eve as they fell, and how heartrending was God's heart after the Fall. This is not something said by guesswork. It is a fact.

If a sickness has arisen, one must cure it at the source of the sickness. Otherwise, the sickness cannot be cured. If the source is set right, all is naturally gathered. Even the Republic of Korea is so.

If the central being, who is the source, goes wrong, all perish. However outstanding the people may be, if he goes wrong, all perish. All within the same fence perish. Therefore, the center is the issue.

The True Parents Whom Human Beings Must Find

The center of the Bible is not Jesus. You must know this. The Bible is the record after the Fall. Jesus became the center because Adam and Eve fell. Had they not fallen, Jesus would not be the center. Adam would be the center. Know this clearly. Because of the Fall, the Savior, prayer, and religion became necessary.

Originally, debates such as whether there is a God or not, atheism or theism, were not necessary. However inadequate God might be, He would have created the creation so that, when He says, “Hey!” the creation can answer, “Yes!” If not so, what kind of God is that?

You! There comes a time when religion must be transcended. There comes a time when the world must be transcended. There comes a time when one must transcend even the historical view, the social view, and the heart-view centered on oneself. Are only my sons and daughters sons and daughters? Is only my family a family? Is only my country a country? Try saying so, and see what happens. See whether you fall or not.

The time has already passed over to the age of worldwide ideals. The age of worldview-ism — this is the time when one must transcend the feelings of one's own life, transcend one's view of life, transcend the worldview one possesses, and face God with the cosmic view.

However filial a son might be, if he, without gathering the family or environment under the parent's direction, only fights and then calls, “Father!” — Would the parent be pleased?

Likewise, only when entering into the position of being loyal, capable of gathering all that God's providence administers, does one pass through the standard at the level of the heart and then call, “Father!” — Does God say, “Yes”?

However much one comes before God on this earth, with whatever earthly love, ideal, or thing, calling Him Father, God cannot say, “Yes!” Therefore, this world must be judged.

In this time when the Last Days draw near, when we go forth hoping for true happiness, we must not advance toward what is of today, but, transcending what is of today, advance toward what is of tomorrow.

If there is one who can negate what is of today and at the same time has the value-view of tomorrow firmly rooted in the depth of his heart, he is a person of hope.

When the earth perishes together with history, God will pull that person out and command him.

Now is not the time to hold onto something of today. Now is just the time to bring the contest of life and death to its conclusion.

Even if I die, what is to be found must be found, and what is to be possessed must be possessed. We must possess what we can boast of.

If so, we will have no regret even in death. Have you found what you must find? Have you possessed what you must possess? Have you possessed what you can boast of? Since you have not, you are a pitiful person. You are an unhappy person.

Try dreaming of a foothold of happiness in this present environment in which you remain. There comes a time of, “Help! Save me!” There comes a contest of packing one's bags, struggling for life and death. You see this well these days, do you not?

Heaven has cried out to us. But Heaven, standing in the middle of history, does not say, “Come to Me.” He does not say to enter the realm of some single nation or people. He says to go to one person. What sort of person is that? He is the master of the heart who knows the bond and the relationship by which God in the beginning created human beings. He says to go to that person.

There are countless paths of the Way today, but no single Way that can pass through the heart has appeared in the historical course. Such a Way must certainly appear.

If it does not appear, God does not exist. There are paths of the Way that teach the social ethics and morals one must keep and paths of the Way that teach the infinite spirit world, but there must be a religion that integrates the teachings about ethics and morality and the unseen world and places them upon a single core of heart.

When I sought such a religion, I found Christianity. Christianity is the religion of the heart. Through the Fall, human beings lost God and came not to know that God is our Father. Although they have lost the True Parents bearing substance, Christianity is the religion that can introduce those True Parents.

Because the True Parents were broken, true couples whom God can recognize have not come forth. Although you, having formed a couple, live with attention and care, are you a couple who can you go together to God's eternal Kingdom of Heaven? Utterly out of the question. Believers say that, when the Lord comes, all couples in the world will be parted.

This is also in the Bible, and those who have experience of the spiritual world know it at once. However happily a couple may have lived on this earth, the place where the husband goes is one place, and the place where the wife goes is another.

Originally, it was not so. Because human beings have fallen, it is so. If this were God's original ideal of creation, we would have to protest.

God hopes that, as a truly blessed couple, we attend Him eternally from the earth to the eternal world; yet on this earth, no True Parent whom God can publicly recognize has come forth, and on this earth, no publicly recognized couple can attend that God. Did God create one man and one woman to live like this?

Today's standard of the Way is celibate life. Do you know why it is a celibate life?

Because no master who has reached the principled standard has yet appeared and acted as True Parent. Since no True Parent has yet been established according to God's ideal, can those who would be His descendants form a family and live? That is why the higher a religion is, the more it emphasizes celibate life.

Human Beings Must First Become True Children

Our ancestors of humanity stood in the position of beloved son, but they could not advance to the position of a son who could inherit all things of heaven and earth as a legacy.

Therefore, God sought to set up, in His stead, one eternal true master who could govern all the cosmos and, centering on him, to form a bond of love. He sought to form a bond with them upon the foundation of the heart, on which one man and one woman, having matured, harmonize with all things and laughter bursts forth.

But because such a bond was not formed, the resentful history has continued until today.

The history of humanity is the history of restoration to find again what was lost.

Therefore, we must, passing through the noun “God's son and daughter,” grow and grow and become true parents. To do so, we must form a bond not only with the spiritual Father but also with the physical father, and we must be able to call God our eternal Father. Jesus is the Bridegroom and at the same time the True Father.

You must know this. We have lost God, lost True Parents, lost the true couple, and have not become true children. Therefore, putting Jesus forth, we have called him God, called him True Parent, called him Bridegroom, and called him Child. This is to bind up at one goal everything historically lost at the level of the heart and patch it all at once. That is the providence of restoration.

Human beings who have lost God, human beings who have lost True Parents, human beings who have lost the bond of true couple, human beings who have lost the bond of true children — what must such human beings hope for? First, to become children. To do so, one must be born anew. Have you been born anew?

Those who have not been born anew are all stepchildren. You must have the experience of rebirth. You must advance to the position of saying, “Without Jesus and the Holy Spirit, I cannot live; my body, blood, and flesh are part of him.”

Then, forming the bond of true children and being raised, with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and her help, you must be able to harmonize with the same emotion with which the Holy Spirit longs for Jesus the Bridegroom. With such a heart, preparing yourselves and looking forward to the time when the Lord will come, you must adorn yourselves with bodies as of virgins.

What is most precious in this world? What treasure?

Whatever is in a position to be ruled by two cannot be a joy. It cannot be called happiness. The noun “happiness” does not exist where two possess it. The most precious in heaven and earth is God.

What sort of person is happy?

As said earlier, it would possess the most precious. Then what is the most precious in this heaven and earth? It is what every existing thing wishes to possess, even at the cost of its life.

Have you possessed something so precious?

Are gold and silver jewels precious? Do you wish to possess them even at the cost of your life? No. But there is One whom every creation wishes to possess even at the cost of its life, and that One is precisely God.

If you know God of such value, becoming God's son and daughter is no problem.

However precious anything in heaven and on earth may be, it is all created relative being, but God alone is the subject Being. The fact that one can claim that God is one's own — how moving a thing is this? God is mine, mine. Therefore, I tell you to become sons, daughters, and brothers and sisters who can call Him “mine.” This is salvation.

God called Jesus the only-begotten Son. Of the countless human beings who came and went on this earth, He said only of Jesus, “You are my Son.” From this fact, Jesus was the greatest victor. He received from God the name of only-begotten Son, of son.

When one parts the heart and goes in, he was a true filial son. He knew what kind of Father God had been in the past, and what heart that Father had toward today's self. He also knew what blessing that Father wished to give him, having set him up. Therefore, he called God “my Father.”

Therefore, Jesus is the Savior. What sort of Savior? The Savior who finds God the Father for us, the Savior who finds the True Parents for us, the Savior who finds the true couple for us, the Savior who finds true children for us.

Until now, you have known Jesus only as the Savior who saves life. This must be fundamentally broken. The Jesus we believe in is the One who came bringing the lost God, the One who came as the lost True Parent, the One who came as the Bridegroom of the true couple, and the One who came as the true filial son before God. The Jesus you believe in is such a One.

The one who truly loves is the one who loves Jesus, who loves God, who loves the True Parents, who can become a true couple, and who can become true children.

Therefore, Jesus called us, even his friends. The matter is so. You must know this clearly.

The God Who Has Prepared the Most Precious and Tells Us to Throw Away All Else

Hereafter, there will come a time when the countless people scattered throughout heaven and earth cry out, “Messiah, please come quickly.” There will come a time when the sovereignty they hope for and rely on is unreliable, when the religion they believe in is unreliable, and when no learning or philosophy is reliable. Why?

Because human beings begin from the heart and through the heart end with the heart. The origin of human beings is not the world. Since human beings have the heart as their origin, they must, passing through bonds of the heart, conclude with the heart. Only then can one receive the praise, “Oh! Hallelujah,” from all things.

To prepare one hundred percent of the value of such praise, one must not depart from the bonds of the heart.

History is a history of disposal. Setting up some nation or some sovereignty as a model and going forth, when that nation or sovereignty falls, He disposes of it and sets up a new nation that is a better model. Thus, although the nation and sovereignty can be disposed of, the heart cannot be disposed of. Life and circumstances can be disposed of, but the heart cannot be disposed of.

Do you understand what this means?

Circumstances can be disposed of, but the heart cannot be disposed of. Until one master who can dispose of this matter of the heart appears in the historical course of humanity, the time of peace will not come to this world. The world of happiness will not come about. Therefore, God comes seeking the world of the heart.

On the day when such a heaven-rooted world of the heart comes, all human ethics and morality will come to an end. At that time, all things break. Because the old must break for the new to come. Therefore, this world becomes confused beyond words. The view of ethics and morality breaks. Parents kill their children, children kill their parents, and husbands and wives use the knife on each other. All breaks.

If heaven and earth come to their conclusion through such a breaking, you would be better off going to such a place ahead of time and dying. That is why those of meaning seek out a hole of suicide.

For such people, I pray, “Father, please send those who seek to enter the hole of suicide.” Such people are people who have foreseen the historical conclusion. “

However good the body, the mind is not joyful. However joyful the action, the mind cannot rest!” Anyone who has such a feeling is a forerunner. He is a forerunner who, knowing in advance that the world of the heart is coming, gathers up the environment.

The foundation of rest is not the place where one says, “It is not the mind”; it is not a place that gives temporary rest to circumstances and conditions. It is the place where one's heart wishes never to leave forever and ever.

It is the place where one can say, “Even if I am cursed, even if I am beaten, even if anything takes my life away — it is well.” Can a human being who has cut off the heaven-rooted bonds of the heart be a human being with life?

Knowing this, Jesus, with the cross before him, said, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou wilt.” (Matt. 26:39) The “will” here is the will of the heart. It means, “Let it be done according to the will of the heart.”

Today, the world's humanity is searching. They yearn. They struggle with a problem before them that must be resolved at some time. What is that problem? It is not eating well, nor establishing sovereignty to create a brilliant culture, and rejoice. That is not a matter of East and West. It is not a matter of skin color.

That parents have a heart to love their children is the principle. But if there appears an ideology that can bring about, on this earth, what gives the heart a love beyond that, then the world of peace and happiness, the Kingdom of Heaven, will come naturally. If such a thing can never be done, then God too is humanity's traitor.

Why? Because if He is a God who only says, “Do not do this, throw that away,” and cannot bring peace and happiness, can such a God be believed? But God has prepared the greatest gift; therefore, however good or however much one might desire something, He says to forget all of it and long for only one thing. Because He has such a thing, He has said, “Do not do this; throw that away.” Therefore, He is to be thanked.

Looking into it, He is to be thanked. Through the long course of history, the apostles have labored, but knowing that, even after laboring and obtaining something, they would lose it again and shed tears, He asked us to throw it all down and patiently long for, awaiting only one moment. This is the spirit of Christianity.

The True Brothers and Sisters Centered Upon the Lord

When you go out the door, you will go to your homes. But, do you have parents to whom you can say, “My mother, I do not wish ever to leave Your bosom. Even when I die, I wish to be with my mother forever.

The Kingdom of Heaven is not somewhere else; the place where I can live with my mother is the Kingdom of Heaven.” The Kingdom of Heaven is not elsewhere.

Where the husband is, there the wife wishes to be; if even when the husband is in hell, the wife can rejoice looking at him, that place is the Kingdom of Heaven. Have you ever thought of this?

What sort of place is the Kingdom of Heaven?

The Kingdom of Heaven is a place where it is well even to sit hungry, well even to be slapped on the cheek. It is a place where the bond between you and me cannot be severed by anyone, where, if you go, I go, and if I come, you come, where, in such a bond, we wish to be together.

Have you possessed such brothers and sisters?

Those who can go to the Kingdom of Heaven are those who possess such substance and material. When one goes to the spirit world, one sees this. Once you follow the Lord, you would say, “I will not go to the earth. Ah, it is dreadful.” You would say that there is no need for parents or anything. Because what is heaven's is so precious, He asked us to throw away what is of the earth.

God is the God of justice. Justice means that the procedure is right. Is it not so? It does not pass through one place alone, but through every direction. The whole heaven and earth love God, all human beings love the Lord; and putting forth that God and that Lord, I love them, and at the same time, you must love them.

When we can say, “You are also the son of that beloved Lord, and I am also the son of that beloved Lord,” there is nothing that cannot be forgiven. Therefore, we must meet Christians. Putting forth the Lord's name, all enemies melt away.

Putting forth the Lord's name, those who are not brothers can unite more than brothers; putting forth the Lord's name, those who are not family members can unite more than family. Those on this earth who do not feel such a feeling, who do not grasp such an internal substance, cannot enter the happy era of the new nation.

The Truly Happy Person

You hope to become infinitely happy. Then do you think happiness is mastering much learning that others do not know? It is not. Do you think it is to possess too much of any treasure on earth? It is not.

Do you think it is to hold any authority?

It is not. If, even with such things, one stands in a position not recognized by the heavenly law of kinship, one perishes.

What is most precious? It is to become heart-level sons and daughters of God, the great Sovereign and Master of all the cosmos.

What more could one hope for than this?

If there is a son who has set God as Father, this heaven and earth become his. Because such a bond remains deep within the human heart, when asked what they wish most, most people answer that they wish to govern this world freely, to roam this world as if it were their land. That is the heart of most people. That is the original heart. So it is. Having lost it through the Fall, they only struggle to find it.

Become true sons and daughters of God. Then what is the Father's becomes yours, who are sons and daughters. Is it not so? To send down such a great gift, such a heart-level gift, Heaven did not mind laboring for 6,000 years.

How many times have you betrayed such a Father?

How greatly have you betrayed the Father who, vomiting blood, cried, “Hey, you?” The one who said, “I do not know” and betrayed Him, ought to be made pitiful—does it stand that God is to become pitiful? Pitiful God.

Our pitiful Father. Such a Father is the Father of my heart. It is grievous and indignant. Are there filial sons and daughters on this earth who say they wish to meet a Father who, forgetting all the pain and sorrow of His heart, can hold them and weep aloud, who wish to meet a Father who, with a long sigh and a smile of hope, says, “Yes, my son, my daughter”? There are none.

Why have we flocked here?

To be saved? No. To become such sons and daughters, go to the established churches. Since the bloody twists and turns began here, passing through that place, holding fast to Father's heart — Father who labored for 6,000 years to resolve the resentful heart that came about by the Fall, having reversed the historical course until now — we must become sons and daughters who can inherit the Alpha and Omega heart of Father. Such sons and daughters must come forth on this earth.

We have come to know. The happy person can make the most precious thing that God hopes for and longs for his own. What is that precious thing?

It is to set God as Father, to set God's only-begotten Son as Father, and to set God's only-begotten Daughter as Mother. The only-begotten Son is Father, and at the same time, viewed in terms of age, is Bridegroom.

Also, viewed as one in the position of having to save the sinful human beings on God's behalf, He is in the position of a son. He is the One whom every existing thing in history has hoped for, and the center of hope for fulfilling the entirety of the providential purpose. To find that One, God has walked the bitter history of 6,000 years, and the countless ancestors and saints who have come and gone until now have all striven to find that one Person.

If you could attend such a precious One, the only One there is, how blessed would it be? If that precious One becomes yours, how happy would you be? There is no greater happiness than this.

If such a thing comes about, money is not the issue. The body is not the issue. The three-thousand-li peninsula is not the issue. The whole earth is not the issue. Have you come to know such precious things? If not, you must come to know.

To know precious things, one must know the substance of those precious things.

There are many fakes. Diamonds, because they are precious, also have many fakes.

Because there are many fakes, one must become an expert who can distinguish what is precious. Without that, it cannot be done. Because there are many fakes, in the Last Days, we are told to beware of the antichrist.

The truth seems false, and the false seems true. Each insists he is outstanding; each insists he is right. In which should one believe? Therefore, one must definitely contend with God. In these last days, we must not become human beings who flow along with history.

Even at the cost of having one's head broken, one must, with the world's problems at stake, contend with God: “God, what kind of situation is this?” — and resolve them.

To resolve them, one must walk the road of suffering, the road of unspeakable hardship.

One must be able to walk boldly even to the very ridge of death along which human beings have suffered to believe well on this earth. There will also be many twists and turns of sorrow.

Resolution must be made under the determination, “Let me endure and endure; my life is not the issue.” When such a problem is resolved at the end of unspeakable hardship, the value is precious. Yet what have you done to find such a precious thing? Have you ever staked your life?

The apostles of old laid down their necks and were martyred to lay a bridge for the precious thing. You, who as saints of the Last Days must personally find and possess what is precious — what have you done? What have you done?

When someone tries to strike you, do you not glare and seek to avoid being struck, or do you seek to fight, lose sleep over even one indignant word, and seek revenge?

But Heaven, even after being struck a thousand times, turns and worries about you.

Even at the cost of being rejected ten thousand times, even at the cost of every misfortune wrapped in twists and turns, He forgets it, forgets the history of suffering, and strives not to forget the heart of hope with which, at the time of creation, He gazed upon Adam and Eve, having created them.

You must know that He is a God who, although by the Fall han came to be, forgets that han, and, not forgetting the heart of wishing to bless them as the original sons and daughters and rejoice in tomorrow's garden of happiness, has come seeking you.

People pray that, regardless of whether God sheds blood or sweat, regardless of whether He is in a pitiful place, He should make me at ease. I do not pray such prayers. I do not. I do not pray, “Father, this body has committed a deadly sin.

Please forgive my sin.” “Father, please forgive the historical sin. I am also one of those sinners and one of the members of this nation, this people.

Please first forgive the sin of this nation, this people.” One must pray thus. Only then is it a right prayer. Is it not in keeping with reason to know one's elder? Is it not in keeping with reason to recognize tradition? Without knowing anything, they say, “It is said that God is infinite love; please forgive my sin.

Please, God, take up this heavy bundle of luggage and send me to the Kingdom of Heaven.” It is a lamentable thing.

The Meaning of “Believe in Me”

When Jesus said, “Believe in me,” there was a complex and great meaning contained in it. It means believe with the world at stake, with the cosmos at stake.

We must believe in a value greater than ten million of our lives. In the past, you believed in a Jesus who saves us.

We must not believe in such a Jesus. Jesus is the One for the sake of saving the world, the One for the sake of liberating heaven and earth. Is it not so?

We must believe in such a Jesus, become disciples of that Jesus, become the people of that Jesus, become sons and daughters of that Jesus, become the bride of that Jesus.

Jesus came searching. At first, he came to individuals. From the day he died, he came searching for individual apostles and saints who, wandering in an environment in which the name of Jesus could not be set up, met death.

Thus, passing through the age in which Jesus came searching for the individual, the age in which he came searching for the family, the age in which he came searching for the society, and the age in which he came searching for the church, now is the age in which he comes searching for one nation centered upon Christian thought.

Today, the entire world has come into an age that, hanging up the name “democracy,” can move within the realm of the Christian spirit, the Christian ideal; therefore, hereafter, the age in which Jesus comes searching for the world, the age of the cosmic-level Savior, will come.

Hereafter, those who believe in Jesus only to receive their own individual salvation cannot welcome Jesus. They absolutely cannot welcome him. See whether one can welcome him.

Jesus does not come to this earth to do some other work. He comes to govern heaven and earth. The Jesus who comes in the Last Days is the cosmic Jesus.

The Last Days are the age in which Jesus comes to seek sons and daughters who can be boasted of anywhere in heaven and earth.

You cannot lead those who, having believed well on this earth and died, are in Paradise to God and say, “God, these are sons and daughters who believed well on the earth and even reached Paradise; please love them.” Within the realm of Paradise, it may be boasted of, but within the entire cosmic ideal centered on the heavenly throne, it cannot be boasted of.

In the age of Jesus that is to come, one must become a son or daughter of whom Jesus can personally go to the heavenly throne and say, “Father, here is a son whom You can boast of and love; please bless him as the great victor before all the cosmos and heaven and earth.” That is the goal Jesus hopes for, the goal God hopes for.

Today in Christianity, people think becoming a pastor is the highest, but it is not. One must know how to face the Lord at the national level beyond the pastor. To move one church or social organization, one must grasp the heart of Jesus at the national level. To become a leader who can represent the entire Christianity, one must welcome Jesus, who comes worldwide. Failing to do so, doing things in the old way, Christianity is breaking apart.

If the Lord is to come hereafter, he must be the master who can govern heaven and earth and, at the same time, the Son who can govern God's heart. Do you understand what this means? He must be the qualified one who can govern not only heaven and earth but also God's heart.

Such a qualified one is the Lord who comes again. Know clearly that Jesus comes again as such a master. Only then can God say with peace of mind, “All right, you take charge of all matters of this world.” From then on, God can rest. Should it not be so? Unless the standard by which one can rest on the earth is brought to its conclusion, the final foundation of the rest of history is not realized.

In other words, we must liberate Jesus and God. This is a wonderful thing. Those who have come here for the first time will say it is the word of a heretic. Fine. Why must Jesus be liberated? Because Jesus is still praying in Paradise, that prayer must be brought to a close.

Why must God be liberated?

Because, to save us, He has become a God shedding sweat and blood and lamenting; therefore, He must be liberated. This is because He has not yet found sons and daughters. Because He has not found sons and daughters….

It is not because something is lacking. It is not because heaven and earth are lacking. God, bearing the eternal ideal of creation, having set up the entire ideal, blessed sons and daughters; but because, centering upon our true ancestors, the one standard upon which He could rest has not been brought to its conclusion.

Therefore, in history, the axis of the heavenly law of kinship must be set. On the day when this axis is set in heaven and earth, the more chaotic the world, the more rapidly it will advance toward the destination of goodness.

Today, the Republic of Korea seems to be in fighting and complications, and nothing seems to be working, but the world is mobilized here. Wait and see.

Internally, it seems to break, but the world will come and find us. We will become more united. Those of meaning must think well at this time.

In what direction does the heavenly fortune flow?

Those who moved in the direction of the flow of heavenly fortune and died, none did not become a loyal subject. Those who moved against the direction of the flow of heavenly fortune—none did become a traitor. The providence is the same.

The loyal subject dies for justice and the whole; the traitor dies for himself. That is the difference. We must die for the whole.

When one possesses something precious, one must not keep it to oneself. One must rejoice. One must rejoice together with the One who gave it.

Only thus can the One who gave it also rejoice. One must rejoice to such an extent that the One who gave it would say, “If I had more, I would give more.”

If something worth several hundred million is given, but one rejoices only to the value of several hundred thousand, it will be taken back. If one received what is precious, one must rejoice to that extent. One whose heart overflows in this way is happy.

This joy is not momentary. To one who searches and wanders for such things, who has such a conscience, He wishes to give and to give more. He wishes to boast of it, to boast more. To one who says, “Ah! How wonderful! Ah! How precious!” He wishes to give all, even at the cost of losing what is truly precious in the world.

When you receive that precious thing, if your heart overflows so that you rejoice, saying, “Ah, suffering is no problem now; who could take this joy from me?” — that joy is not the joy of the individual alone. It belongs to all peoples.

One who wishes to boast, who wishes to give, whose heart overflows so that, when he sees others receive, he rejoices more than when he himself possesses, is a happy person.

Even though such a principle exists, most human beings, when they have something precious, say, It is mine. The one who says, “This is mine; no one else can touch it,” is a betrayer of the heavenly law of kinship. The cosmic fortune strikes one who goes in such a direction.

The Responsibility of One Who Has Possessed What Is Precious

Therefore, he says, Be good. Goodness is infinitely precious. If one has possessed what is precious, one must rejoice, and then one must give with a heart of joy. It is said that God is love.

So God says, even after losing His only-begotten Son, that He will give more, and, forgetting His own difficulties, says He will give. This is God's heart. You who must possess God — to be furnished with the substance and elements of happiness, you must rejoice, “I have possessed something so precious,” and you must give thanks, “I have possessed what all the cosmos seeks. I have made Him my own!”

Yet if, although you have made Him your own, you feel terror and threat at the prospect of losing Him, you have not yet possessed Him. But if you have possessed God, no one can take Him away. Why? Because He has become one body with my body.

Originally, God is the substantial body, and I am a member. Therefore, Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches.” (John 15:5) Because we are one tree, as long as he is alive, I too am alive; when he rejoices, I too rejoice; when he wishes to give eternally, I too wish to give eternally.

However much you have possessed something precious and wish to rejoice, boast, and return glory, as long as you stand in the position of fearing that it will be taken away, this is impossible. Therefore, Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is in your heart, and “You will know that I am in the Father, and the Father in me.” (John 14:20)

We must form an iron-firm bond of heart with God. Then it is as though we wear the same pouch of heart, so that if God seeks to leap out, all leap out. On the day this comes about for the whole world, no one can take it.

The Master of the New Age

Carefully observing the historical course, the Old Testament age was the age of offering material things as offerings, and the New Testament age is the age of offering body and mind as offerings. Because Jesus is the One who stands in place of God's body and the One who stands in place of God's mind, he is God's ideal object.

Until now, you have known that the Holy Spirit gives grace, have you not? The Holy Spirit is the One who offers the body offering.

When this body offering is brought to completion, Jesus the Bridegroom offers the mind offering together with it. From the position where Father and Mother are joined, the matter of the heart comes forth. Is it not so? In the past, material things were offered.

Now Christianity is the religion that offers body and mind as offerings, centered upon the Holy Spirit and Jesus. Therefore, it is said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30) Thus, the fulfillment of the Will is reciprocal. Is it not so?

Then how will it be hereafter?

The age of the offering of material things, and the age of the offering of body and mind pass, and the age of the offering of heart finally comes. It is the age in which one cannot live without yearning for the Lord.

With a heart that cannot live without yearning for the Lord, one must have such a heart that, wherever he goes to die, I too can go.

One must pass through the age of the offering of the heart. Why? Because human beings have fallen. Having betrayed the bond of heart and lost mind and body, lost all things of the world, all of these must be borne in one body and indemnified.

Because such a historical course is being passed through, in finding the elements of final happiness that you have lost, you must become one with that One in heart and become one with him.

When the heart becomes one, the historical distance is no problem, the distance of the age is no problem, and the horizontal distance is no problem. Wherever you go, you are always within his heart.

Heaven and I must thus become one body in heart. When Heaven grieves, I too grieve; when Heaven rejoices, I too can rejoice — we must become participants.

Becoming participants on the earth, when we go to the Kingdom of Heaven, we must also be participants there.

We must become participants in happiness. We must become participants — when Jesus grieves, I too grieve; when he rejoices, I too rejoice; when he suffers, I too suffer. Passing through that standard, in the end, one must wish to give infinitely and boast infinitely.

When this comes about, centering upon me, all things form a reciprocal relationship, and through communion of feeling with all things, you are related to Heaven.

Heaven and the mind, the mind and the body, the body and all things — that is, the three objects — are prepared. Only thus can one stand on the earth as the victorious son or daughter who governs Satan and has passed through the principle of Heavenly Law. Only such a person is a part of the body of God. If a man, he is a part of the body of the True Father; if a woman, a part of the body of the True Mother.

Who could sever such a bond?

Even if a hundred million Satanic forces came, they could not sever it. However much anyone strikes, stabs, or kills, saying, “You are so-and-so's son. That person is not your mother,” that bond does not break.

Even if there is suffering greater than that, one must form an inseparable relationship, the bond of parent and child, with God. Only one who is furnished with such certain, factual substance, with experiential fact, will become the master of the new age in the Last Days.

Such a person will surely cross over the process of the judgment of justice and live a happy life in the world of peace centered on love.

Father, whenever this unworthy child halted his struggling footsteps and shed tears alone in seeking to meet You, You embraced and counseled me; we cannot but lament that we have no words to convey that heart.

If pitiful children who have lost heart can wander seeking that heart and shed tears to find it, how blessed it is compared with those who do not know? Since we have come to know, please lead us to such a place.

Now we have come to know that this body is not our own; we have come to know that this body must not live for itself.

We have come to know that the earth is the place where the heart resides, that humanity is where the heart resides, and that the heavenly law of kinship is where the heart resides.

We have realized that nothing can exist apart from the heart and that all existence is contained within the realm of the heart.

Please make many today, among the pitiful thirty million who, with pierced hearts, yearn for Father and cry out aloud. Whenever the voices of sons and daughters crying aloud are heard from each valley of this skull-like three-thousand-li peninsula, the earth seems to perish, but we know that new hope, receiving the spring light, grows. This is the hope I have longed for, and for this I stood in this place today and cried out.

Your sons and daughters gathered here were lost human beings. We were pitiful, pitiful human beings. While boasting, we came to know that we ourselves are orphans; while boasting, we came to know that we ourselves are widows; while boasting, we came to know that we have had everything taken away as if taken prisoner by an enemy army.

Even our liking was a lamentable thing, our dancing was a lamentable thing, our rejoicing was a lamentable thing. Only now have we come to know what Father longs for, what Father's wish is, what Father's heart is like. We give thanks that we can call Father “Father,” and we give thanks that we can call true children “true children.”

We thought we had been lost 6,000 years ago, but seeing the figure of that Father who, undying through the historical course, has lived on and labored to seek humanity, we came to know that even God awaits the day when, taking that figure as a body, He can establish him as the eternal Father of all the cosmos.

We know that the ideal of creation, by which one can govern all the cosmos, will be brought to its conclusion, taking that one moment as the turning point; therefore, we earnestly desire and beseech that You forgive our ignorant past and that, looking upon us in this age, You resolve the han of our wretched and forlorn ancestors.

What of the countless people on this earth who, having ears, do not hear, and having eyes, do not see? Even hearing the voice of Heaven crying aloud with han, they do not know how to weep aloud, do not shed tears, and beat the ground.

Among those who claim to be Your sons and daughters and brides, many have danced when Heaven grieved, and many have lived centered upon themselves when Heaven wept aloud. We earnestly desire and beseech, Father, that You resolve the han of Father through us and that You resolve the resentment of lamentation through us.

We know that the destiny of the people, too, has reached the Last Days, and that the destiny of the world, too, has reached the final time when something new must be leaped over toward. These people are asleep, and the young men and women of the world struggle without knowing where to go; we earnestly desire and beseech that You permit us to be those who possess what we can leave behind for them.

Please do not let us be those who pass this day in vain; please make us those who, holding fast to a heart of sorrow, can pass this day for the sake of the eternal world; please make us those who, in the position of friends, console Father and praise Father.

Father, what shall be done with the countless denominations fighting?

We know that they are in a position closer than brothers and sisters who inherited the same flesh and blood, and we know it is our destiny to share Father's wealth; therefore, please send a blessing upon them.

If there are sons and daughters here who can be beaten for their sake, invoke a blessing upon them, and inflict the hand of Heaven's consolation upon them; please raise them.

We have come to know it is Jesus who was beaten and went in place of the multitudes of life; we have come to know the loneliness of Jesus, who, opposed by Israel, alone shed blood at Calvary as a traitor of the people and a heretic of the church; we have come to know the heart with which he shed bitter tears at the Garden of Gethsemane.

How indignant and grieved must Jesus have been not to have met one disciple who could have become his friend and said, “Lord, I will fight in your stead; please commend it to me”?

We are a fallen lineage who could not take the place of Jesus' death and could not console his pain. We who have ancestors who took pleasure in seeing his blood-stained hand, who pointed fingers at him as he wept and invoked the blessing of heaven and earth wearing the crown of thorns — we who, indignant and grieved at being their descendants, please permit us not to be such as they.

To the ignorant who do not know the movement of the heavenly law of kinship, you were taught simply to be gentle and humble. We know that the ignorant but gentle and humble have come forth through the indemnity course of historical sin, and we know that Father's victorious road also was paved by such ones.

We know that they could come forward, laying down their lives for the sake of justice.

Please cause such a multitude to appear among these thirty million people. We know that on the day they appear before the world's three billion humans, Heaven will promise them good fortune.

If all the heart feels today becomes one with Heaven, what could take away what I bear? Neither hundreds of millions of angels, nor anything in the satanic world of hundreds of millions, can take it away.

Father's heart is our heart, and Father's indignation is our indignation, so that we know how to move and rest according to Father's moving and resting; we earnestly desire and beseech that You permit us to be Your sons and daughters who, having passed through a heart that is more than oneness, attend to the ideal heart, and at this hour we have spoken; I entreat and desire that we may become happy sons and daughters.

Have these found what is precious?

Please send down upon them the eternal grace and blessing of victory by which, infinitely boasting and infinitely rejoicing, they will never again have it taken from them.

We earnestly entreat that, together with the promise of this hour, they may become sons and daughters who are eternally raised before heaven and earth; and we have prayed all these words in the name of the Lord. Amen.
