Genesis 38:26-30; Revelation 21:1-8, 22:13-17
Each of you and this man standing here is, even unawares, hoping to lean upon something. To form a bond with something higher and more valuable than oneself, to yearn for something of higher value than oneself — I think this is the same for everyone.
If human beings had not fallen, what would we ourselves have yearned for? It would be solely the heart of God.
If unfallen human beings had wished to come close to God and form a bond with God, it would not have been to obtain some object Heaven possesses, nor to obtain some knowledge Heaven knows, nor to obtain some authority Heaven holds; rather, it would have been to possess the heart hidden deep within God. That alone, undoubtedly, would have been the standard of their value.
Because this is what every human being who has a mind requires; even we who live on the fallen earth struggle, longing more than for any other thing for a resting place where we can sing of the value of the heart. Therefore, you must first know that the human being must wander, seeking the standard of the heart.
What Human Beings Long For
In the course of life — whether it be one hour, one day, or several decades — the deeper, broader, and higher one's heart is, the happier one is. As you well know, however abundant one's possessions and however imposing one's appearance, anyone who lacks such a standard is an unfortunate person.
Even fallen human beings are this way; you must remember that the unfallen, original human being was the same.
What human beings received as the recompense of their fall was this: they were severed from God's world of Heart, were expelled from the garden God governed, and could no longer possess as their own the entire world God had created. This is the sorrow of fallen humanity.
If, because of the human Fall, sorrow came upon all the creation that had been made, it is because the creation cannot meet a person who, possessing a true bond, can commune through the heart of love.
The spirit people in the heavens, too, will lament as they look upon humanity, the lineage of the Fall, who could not become sons and daughters embraced by the inexhaustible hand of God's love because they could not form a bond with God's heart. Therefore, you must clearly remember that fallen human beings, who must wander seeking the standard of heart, are struggling in a pitiful state.
We of the fallen world always feel that, to find a resting place for the mind — and further, a resting place for the heart—we must possess God's heart alone, even at the cost of giving up all our possessions and all our consciousness and conceptions. It is the same in the unfallen world.
If anyone were to possess God's love, that one would not exchange that single love even for the entire world of being given to him; he would not exchange that single love even for any authority of heaven and earth given to him.
Whether before or after the Fall, the ultimate purpose is to find the garden of rest for the heart. The garden of the heart, the more one meets it, the newer it becomes; the more one meets it, the more one is filled with happiness; the more one meets it, the freer one becomes; the more one meets it, the more one cannot measure the limits of its value, its position, and its glory. The one who enjoys it would be the most blessed of the blessed.
If such a person were on this earth, no human being could betray him. If such a person were on this earth, all people would throw down everything and struggle to lay hold of him.
If there were a person who, possessing God's heart, formed a bond with God so inseparable it could not be torn asunder—a perfected person such as this — no being in the heavens could fail to strive to lay hold of him.
However, because human beings fell, this bond was torn into many pieces. For that reason, the providence carried out to reform that bond is the providence of salvation. Why did the word “salvation” come to be? Why must this salvation be undertaken? Because we fell from the original position.
Today, this world, without knowing it, awaits salvation by some new ideal. Why? Because it has lost the ideal. Today, all people on this earth, without knowing it, wander searching for a position. Why? Because they have lost the position in which they were to dwell.
For what reason do we study the Bible?
Because the Bible is unknowable, we struggle to know it.
What is the purpose of one who, looking at the Bible, is walking the path of salvation?
It is to know the self, because we have become people who do not know the self.
For what reason do we wish to revere the self and learn a new ideal? It is to know the world, because we have become people who cannot know it.
This does not stop at the fulfillment of one's desires. Even one who has cleared up the question of the self yet does not know one thing, and that is the Absolute Being. There is some ideational subject that moves the world.
The world of the heart cannot rest until, going beyond the world, it pierces through the entirety of the infinite world of existence and forms a bond with that One.
We do not know the world; we do not know the infinite spirit world; we do not know Heaven. We must know that all of this is the recompense of the Fall.
The Sin of Our Ancestors, Adam and Eve
The title of what I shall speak to you today is therefore “The Providence of Restoration to Complete the Liberation of Heart's Han.” With the title “The Providence of Restoration to Complete the Liberation of Heart's Han,” I shall speak.
Among you, there will be those who have worshiped Heaven and sought the path of the Way for ten years, twenty years, and, indeed, for a lifetime.
Where lies the cause of your walking such a difficult road?
It is not because you yourselves have done wrong. More than your wrongdoing, our ancestors did wrong, and tracing back through those ancestors, there are the very ones who fundamentally did wrong; they are Adam and Eve, the ancestors of fallen humanity.
Our ancestors, Adam and Eve, grew up in the embrace of God's love and were nurtured under God's most holy and most great heart of love.
However lovely they were as they grew, however free their environment, there was something they did not possess — what was it?
It was not that the creation given to them was lacking; it was not that there were no servants for them. It was that Adam and Eve had not formed the bond of heart by which they could become God's son and daughter. That is the han.
That God established a world of hope in which He could rejoice together with His infinite ideal of creation and wished to look with joy upon Adam and Eve as all things of heaven and earth came to be governed freely through them — this was because He loved them. Not because of any external value, but because His heart and blood had been poured into them, His bone and flesh lay latent in them, the flow of His heart, which He could not forget though He tried, was directed toward Adam and Eve—for that reason, we must know that He gave the entire creation of heaven and earth to Adam and Eve.
But Adam and Eve, by falling, forsook Heaven. They did not forsake the creation, nor did they forsake the blessing given them; they forsook one principle, which they should not have forsaken—what was it? It was the foundation upon which to form a bond of heart with God. They forsook the foundation of the heart. That is the Fall.
Adam and Eve, were made to sing the entire value of heart—God, who, having made Adam and Eve, looked with joy upon them as they grew with a heart of joy and hope; God, who, having set up the strict commandment not to eat — Adam and Eve did not know how earnest was God's heart of hope as He awaited the time and endured. They did not know how God longed for them, how earnestly He wished to caress them.
As intensely as He longed to take pleasure in their movement, to caress them, to embrace them, God could not but set up the condition not to eat for a period until the standard of His established law was completed.
Had Adam and Eve known the heart of God, they could not have formed the bond of the Fall. But not knowing it, they trampled God's heart and formed a relationship with the archangel and so were not forgiven before the heavenly world but were expelled. You must know that they are Adam and Eve, the fallen ancestors, the fallen parents.
Whenever God looked upon Adam and Eve, His heart of hope blazed up; whenever He saw them, thinking that they would attain self-completion and live a happy life, the emotion of happiness blazed up. He hoped that they would govern, take joy in, and caress the creation of heaven and earth He had made as if they themselves had made it. But that heart of hope was severed entirely because of the Fall of Adam and Eve. We must know that this is, among the sins our ancestors committed, an inadmissible and immense sin.
However, God cannot simply forsake fallen humanity. Why? Because having created humanity according to the principled law that is the standard of eternity, He cannot disregard that standard. As earnest as was the desire to forsake fallen Adam and Eve, were He to forsake them, He would have to forsake at the same time the principle of the entire created world made in six days and would even have to forsake the eternal standard and would stand in a position where the very existence of God, the eternal Subject, must be infringed; therefore, knowing this, God once again began the providence to save Adam and Eve.
Because God could not, simply because the human ancestors had fallen, sever the foothold of His heart by which He had wished to set up the eternal principle and, upon that foundation, reign as the eternal Subject and govern living beings, He looks upon that standard and draws and draws fallen humanity, drawing them up to the original standard of heart. This is the history of salvation.
Salvation Through the Savior
What is the ultimate purpose of the Way?
If there is an Absolute Being, then Heaven must establish one figure of faith whom that Absolute Being can face—that is, one figure who has gained victory in a relationship of the heart.
If such a person is not established, it is a failure. You must know that even today's fallen descendants on this earth, if they cannot bring such a being into a relationship with Heaven, salvation is not concluded.
Therefore, God came searching. Not because He longed for the creation He had made; not because He longed for the throne of happiness in heaven. From that day, the very moment Adam and Eve fell, God has walked alone the back alleys of the heart, and has, through 6,000 years of history until this very hour, silently been following you from behind. You must know this.
Therefore, the direction this humanity must go today is to turn back the steps that walk, without knowing the purpose or direction, on this earth, which is the world of death, the pitfall of death, this living hell. Salvation! Salvation means to seek anew. To seek a savior who delivers is necessary, and so on this earth, the noun "savior" came into being.
The savior does not let human beings be left to live as they are in the world of death. Such a savior is unnecessary. The savior must forsake this world, settle accounts with this world, and settle accounts with today's fixed environment.
Then, where lies the purpose of seeking the savior?
It is not to meet the savior but to form a bond of heart with the very One who sent the savior — God.
You must know that fallen humanity, the descendants of fallen parents, are placed in the destiny of having to advance until that bond is formed.
Today, human beings hunger for knowledge. Or they hunger because they cannot fill their desire for honor. They struggle with hunger and nakedness. There would be many other conditions of hunger as well. As fallen human beings, they should naturally struggle with hunger.
Although, naturally, human beings struggle in hunger as the recompense for the sins committed by the ancestors, you must know that even Heaven, which must save humanity, has come forth in hunger. Hungry for what? You must know that Heaven came forth hungry for heart.
Where have Adam and Eve, the ones to be embraced in the garden of freedom, gone?
Where have Adam and Eve, for whom He waited with hope as He created all things in six days, gone? Having created them, looking upon them with the heart of happiness, “Grow well, grow well; grow up and, as I blessed you, become true parents of all peoples and love the creation I have made with the very heart with which you have made it” — that heart of happiness and the heart of hope by which He desired their descendants and all things of the cosmos to be agreeing God and form a flowering garden of harmony — you must know that Heaven, having lost such a heart, has come forth struggling.
The Being God Seeks
If a savior is needed on this earth, what kind of savior is needed?
A savior who brings us knowledge is unnecessary. A savior who confers honor or authority, who gives success in this generation, who satisfies the belly — such a savior also is unnecessary.
If Heaven truly loves humanity, what kind of savior would He send before us? A Savior of hearts—a savior of hearts. This is the goal of humanity's hope. Heaven has, to save the human beings on this earth, gathered the environment and taught us by every means.
Then, in what kind of place must the heart be discussed?
It must be discussed in a clean and holy place. The heart cannot be discussed on the street or in the marketplace. Enemies must be removed, an environment of rest must be made, and it must be discussed in a sanctified region.
Only after the environment is prepared in which the historical bond, the bond of the age, and the bond of the future with Heaven can be formed, can the bond of the heart be formed—this is Heaven's providence of restoration. The history of salvation. What is the purpose for which Heaven has labored these 6,000 years? You must know that it is to realize the garden of rest of the heart.
Therefore, we must bow our heads and give thanks before Heaven, who has carried out this providence of salvation. God chose Israel and went searching for an individual who could commune with His heart. Thus, He sought and established one ancestor among the fallen lineage who could commune with God's heart, and that one was Abraham, the ancestor of faith.
He is not merely the ancestor of faith in name, as you have until now believed.
What sort of being does God seek?
Because God is the Subject of the heart, He seeks an individual who can face that heart, an existence with whom He can, with heart at stake, discuss any matter. That very being was Abraham, the ancestor of faith.
He felt the bond of heart with Heaven more thoroughly than any worldly ideal. He valued it more than his children, more than his kin, more than the property he possessed, more than the knowledge he had until then known.
The bond of heart that Abraham felt as he faced Heaven was a standard that could not be severed, though one tried, could not be exchanged, though one tried. That is why, when God appeared in a dream and commanded him to leave Ur of the Chaldees, he could readily pack up the goods of his household and, leaving behind beloved parents, brothers, and kin, set out into the lonely wilderness. The believer who does not know that Abraham became the ancestor of faith because he prepared such a foundation of the heart will perish.
In this manner, Heaven, having labored 2,000 years, at last established one object with whom He could commune in heart, and so found the standard of heart. Such is God's position, by which He must accomplish the restoration of the heart.
From among fallen humanity, He seeks and establishes an individual; after seeking the individual, He seeks and establishes a family; after seeking the family, He seeks the nation, the people, and the world. Heaven does not stop the providential history.
You have come here. By what bond I do not know, but you have come and are listening to the message. If God is so, then you who listen must reflect on where your heart stands.
If there is one who, having prepared the standard of heart, has formed a decisive bond with God, he is the eternal victor.
If he has gained victory with the family as his background, he is the eternal victor within the realm of that domain.
If he has gained victory representing the nation, he is the supreme victor within that nation's realm. If he has gained victory with a standard representing the world, he is the world-level victor. So it is.
Therefore, history is, internally, gathered moving forward, while externally, broken down. Only in this way will this sinful world perish.
Externally, history breaks things down; internally, it gathers things up, moving forward. They are the reverse of each other. Why? Because the providence of restoration cannot be administered while joining the fallen world and Heaven's side together.
So, to separate them, on the one hand, it breaks down, and on the other hand, it gathers. You must know this.
If Adam and Eve had originally not fallen, they would be our True Ancestors and the representatives standing on this earth in God's stead.
If Adam and Eve had not fallen, the entire world would be a world of Adam-and-Eve-ism. To whom do Adam and Eve belong? To God. So this world would have become a world of Godism. Would it not?
Even a single person, centering upon its history, forms its customs and the social environment of its age; therefore, if God's beloved Adam and Eve had not fallen, this world would have become a world of Adam-ism.
At the same time, it would have become a world of Godism, of the absolute Sovereign. Then there would be no fighting, no division, and no history of struggling for sovereignty.
The Whole Course of the Providence of Restoration
God's purpose is to break down this satanic world and establish the world He originally intended. Therefore, He has come forth gathering the satanic world. Coming forth from clan to tribe, from tribe to people, from people to nation, a sovereign emerges. Yet that sovereign cannot be left as he is, so He breaks him down.
Establishing people on Heaven's side, He has come forth breaking it down. Only thus can it be gathered in one place. God has, until now, fought such battles.
If that sovereign becomes the eternal ruler of the earth on Satan's side, that is, opposed to Heaven, he becomes a hindrance to seeking the Kingdom of Heaven.
That is why Christianity, whenever it appeared before any sovereign, was without exception opposed. They are enemies. Establishing Christianity, He smashes them down.
However indomitable a stronghold Rome was, Christianity entered and brought Rome down. Thus, passing through a monarchic society, the world moved into a democratic society. Why? Because it had to be broken down. Because if the world falls into the grasp of a sovereign or dictator, Heaven cannot carry out the providence of restoration.
So he breaks it down. Breaking it down, passing through the age of monarchy, the world has come into the age of democracy. The upper-class rose first, then the middle-class rose, and now the time has come when even laborers and farmers can rise. He drives them down.
Now even the bonds of brothers, of parent and child, of husband and wife, are all breaking apart. The time when fathers strike and kill their children and children strike and kill their parents — know that that time is the Last Days. Today's democratic world must awaken.
According to the cosmic fortune that breaks things down externally, the front line of God and the front line of Satan are the same. The content of the work is also the same on the front line.
Therefore, the advanced nations now upholding democracy must awaken. They must turn back from the road they have been walking. In turning back, they must turn back not based on any knowledge, nor with any wealth, but with heart.
Otherwise, they perish — they perish. Wandering and struggling, they will end by destroying themselves before the ideology of a great world. Even one who possesses the world as his own, if he cannot internally settle the lonely position in which the external environment encroaches upon his internal heart, will be ruined. Therefore, Heaven has carried on the providence of internally gathering things up.
Under such an aim, Heaven once chose Abraham, an individual whom Heaven could love, and because Abraham erred, He set up Jacob. Centering on him, by setting up the condition that he had restored the family victoriously, the name “Israel” was given.
Afterward, in the time of Moses, He had the 600,000 multitude of Israelites traverse the course of restoration to Canaan, and finally He sent Jesus. By establishing Jesus on the foundation of those people, the trunk of the heavenly providence of restoration has reached even you today.
Jacob, as the family representative, completed the restoration of the family in his generation; Moses, as the representative of the people, delivered the 600,000 multitude out of Egypt.
The Messiah who was to deliver them from a worldwide Egypt to a worldwide Canaan came to this earth. The one who came to reign as the victorious king upon the foundation of Israel, which had completed national restoration, and to conquer the world, was Jesus. And yet, Jesus came to die?
From the day Jesus, God established, left without fulfilling His Will, God promised the Second Coming of the King of kings, the Messiah. With what does that protagonist come?
You must know that He comes bringing the welfare of the heart, the hope of humanity, the hope of history, the hope of the age, and the hope of the entire cosmos. Therefore, Heaven has counseled us. He did not counsel us to possess any particular knowledge. He did not counsel us to enjoy any particular authority.
Whether dying or living, He counseled us to adorn ourselves with the chastity of a bride — the chastity of a bride. Why? Because for the humanity of the world to cross the final dividing line, they must become a bride who has prepared a value as an object before the subject of the heart. Because before one prepares the qualifications of such a bride, one cannot cross that line. He has set up the blessed promise as the most precious gift.
Jesus, Who Could Not Fully Pour Out His Heart
As the Last Days approach, the world has split into two streams. Has it not? Split into two streams, they are coming into contact. Contact is made on the front line.
Until now, they came forth together, but they have come face-to-face. Until now, they have come together.
Until now, Heaven's side has come forth shoulder to shoulder with Satan's side, but because they cannot forever come forth shoulder to shoulder with Satan, they have come face to face.
This history of struggle has unfolded as the First World War, the Second World War, and is unfolding in the form of a Third World War. Because now the final reckoning must be made, they have begun to face one another.
So now democracy and communism are set squarely face-to-face. One is idealism, the other materialism; one is spiritual, the other material.
What sort of world, then, will the world to come be?
It must be the ideal world of the heart that can swallow up communism. What sort of world is that? It is the world of Cheonjuism (천주주의 — cosmic ideology). This is not the word of the man who speaks here. It is the word God proclaims; it is the word Jesus longs to hear.
What is Jesusism? In what kind of being does Jesus come?
Because there are no unfallen parents on this earth, because we have lost the true parents owing to the Fall of Adam and Eve, He establishes those lost parents again, and that One is the True Parent.
Therefore, you must now turn back every step you have walked, centering on the promise of those Parents, to attend to the Parents who come. You must throw down everything and go. To find the path of being cast off is the path of faith.
What is the purpose of studying the Bible and studying it again?
It is to know how our Lord Jesus was, how Moses, the savior of the people of Israel, was; how Jacob, the family-level savior, was; and how Abraham, the individual-level savior, was. To know how Noah was, how Adam and Eve were.
This is precisely the path of the Way over which one struggles, head wrapped in cloth.
Do you know where the fundamental questions of life are resolved?
They are not resolved by giving a fine explanation of this worldview shaped through today's scientific civilization.
The questions of life are not resolved by setting up positivistic logic and discussing positivistic value. We must return to the original point. To find what has been lost, we must go to the place where it was lost; therefore, we must return there. In returning, we must not return through the words of the Bible alone.
We must return through the marrow-deep heart hidden behind the Bible's words. This is the path that seekers of the Way must walk.
We must return through the heart of Jesus, who came and went 2,000 years ago.
What sort of Jesus is that Jesus?
The Jesus spoken of in the four Gospels is far too inadequate. Far too lacking, far too inadequate.
We must know what was behind the Jesus who spoke, the heart that he wished to express but could not.
How earnest must have been the heart of buried resentment, the heart that wished to pour itself out, in the breast of Jesus who, gazing forth, intended to subjugate Rome alone, by his lone self! But Jesus could not. He could not say a single word.
However insignificant we say Jesus was, he was not so wretched that, leading twelve disciples or a few thousand followers, he had to be driven into the position of a rebel against society, a rebel against his age.
If Jesus had gone to the place where he was driven into the position of being a worldwide rebel, if he had gone to the place where the entire world mobilized to kill him, Jesus would not have died. But Jesus, walking back alleys, fleeing from this alley to that, in such a position, was the ideal, and the heart of Jesus was expressed fully in those words.
Far from it. With those alone, we may understand the words Jesus spoke, but we cannot understand the hidden heart of Jesus, which he wished to speak yet could not.
We are placed in the destiny that, to know the heart of Jesus, we must say, "Farewell, world!" and grope our way up the course of restoration together with the words of the Bible.
So we read the Bible night after night. And we pray night after night. To walk that path rightly, we have lived in caves; we have wandered until now without eating what we should eat or wearing what we should wear. But who has known the heart of that One, who, lodging it deep in his marrow, bore it alone? The world's believers today do not even dream of the heart of Jesus, who could not pour out the cosmic ideal and heart before his enemies.
We must trace back the providential history of restoration—past Jesus, past the prophets, past Abraham, past Noah, all the way to Adam — and know what the inner story of Adam's Fall was. And we must know from the very beginning of the creation of the universe. We must clarify all this.
We human beings are pitiful figures: we walk without knowing where we set out from, walking without knowing where the destination is to which we must go.
Today, this world is a wilderness. It is a wasteland. We must know this fact.
Just as the people of Israel struggled for forty years in the wilderness, the world's humanity wanders in a heaven and earth that is like a wilderness. When the people of Israel could not find their way and wandered in the wilderness, God provided their direction to them through Moses.
When the 600,000 multitude united and, alive or dead, attended Moses as their subject of heart, the path they walked succeeded in all things; but when they departed from that bond of heart, they perished. The history of Israel proves this.
At this time, when worldwide Christianity remains in a wilderness course, what should Christians do? A multitude must come forth that prays in sorrow: “World-level leader, please come. World-level forerunner, please come. There is no true master of this garden, like a wasteland lacking truth, who can love the people and watch over Your sons and daughters; please send a leader like Moses upon this earth.”
The Mission of Christians as the Second Israel
The church is not the church of any pastor. Nor is it the church of any session. Nor is it the church under the rule of any presbytery. The church is my church, the Lord's church. It is a church entangled at the level of the heart.
You must know this. Unless a multitude appears in this heaven and earth saying, “Even though my bones and flesh be torn apart, the bond between the church and me cannot be torn apart”—Christianity perishes. It perishes. Watch and see whether it perishes.
How is the course of restoration of the heart traversed?
It is an inverse course. Externally, things go forth toward the world's terminal line; internally, one ascends along a single path in reverse. Just as on Satan's side there are Satan's sons and daughters, tribe, people, nation, etc., on Heaven's side, God's sons and daughters, God's tribe, God's people, and nation must be established.
So, as the people on Heaven's side, He established the people of Israel.
Today, the world's Christians are the Second Israel. You must know this. The First Israel people perished by rejecting and killing Jesus, who came; the Second Israel, the world's Christians, will likewise perish if they once again drive out the Lord who comes as ruler of the Third Israel.
History, it has been said, turns. It turns in a spiral. With only differences in the size of the form, history repeats itself, broadening its stage until it precisely matches the standard of the world.
Because what was set up in an individual's society must be developed and resolved in the world's society, the conditions of Jesus' age are unfolding once again today.
You must know that they are coming in with the same form, the same environment as that age.
While arranging things externally in this manner, Heaven establishes an individual to gather it up. Since two are fighting to gather it up, by something new—that is neither this nor that — the world must be developed in a new direction.
Otherwise, this world will perish through struggle. If there is a Heaven, He must establish one standard that can do such a thing.
History, through knowledge, has caused us human beings to lay an external foundation of happiness and, through religion, ethics, and morality, has caused us to prepare the standard of social order, but it has not established a heart-level order by which human beings can connect. You must know this. The heart-level order has not been established.
If there is a God, what must this God now do?
Since the external environment has been prepared, since the standard of blessing externally permitted to humanity has been restored, now the form must appear in which heart-level bonds have been prepared on the world level.
Therefore, you must know that the One who comes to prepare the world centered on heart-level bonds is the Lord of the Second Advent.
Therefore, the world has, until now, carried out a knowledge revolution and a revolution of social organization.
Crossing over the standard of conscience, it now seeks to bring forth even a revolution of the heart. To complete the revolution of the heart, we must attend to the God we lost through the Fall and the unfallen True Parents, and become true sons and daughters.
God, True Parents, and true sons and daughters — these three must be able to meet, centering on the one standard that was lost; only then is the revolution of the heart completed. The time when this can happen is the Last Days. You must know this clearly — clearly.
That is why, in carrying out restoration, He has restored the individual, the family, the people, succeeding. By thus establishing the people of Israel, Jesus was sent as the King of kings. Here, the world should have established Jesus as the King of kings and entered into restoration before his ideal.
Yet should it suffice merely to fight?
Thereafter, all the heart-level content of the prophets who once came must be propagated, and the heart-level bonds must be linked. From this perspective, all those who entered the spirit world before Jesus came are the First Israel. What Jesus came to establish was the unfallen, original Israel.
The Second Israel is the victorious Israel that has, by establishing the sovereign who can govern the victorious Israel-world according to God's law, become the victorious Israel. But because they killed Jesus, the people of Israel did not become the Second Israel.
How to Become the Third Israel
To say it again: the spirit world up until Jesus came is the First Israel; the people of Israel in Jesus' day are the Second Israel; the good and true sons and daughters of God who can be eternally trusted, formed through Jesus' sovereignty, are the Third Israel. Jesus came as the ancestor of the Third Israel. Because Jesus died, only the standard of spiritual salvation was established; therefore, today the world's humanity must once again be led back up to the standard of the Second Israel. Then, hanging up the noun “Second Coming,” we must move forward with the Third Israel as our hope. We must know this.
Therefore, in the Last Days, when such an environment has been prepared internally, the Lord who comes, taking the spirit world as the First Israel and the world's humanity as the Second Israel, will appear on this earth as True Parents and must produce victorious sons and daughters, sons and daughters whom God can love.
Until sons and daughters whom God can love appear, the Third Israel cannot be established on this earth. So long as the Third Israel is not established on this earth, God's Will cannot be accomplished. Restoration is brought about in this way.
Because such a form has been prepared externally, today, many spiritually attuned people communicate with the spirit world.
Until now, because Jesus was the spiritual Bridegroom, people have believed spiritually, have been governed by the spirit world, and, centering on the spiritual standard, have come forth with the spirit world taking precedence; but now, in this age standing at the threshold of crossing over in the Last Days, we human beings — that is, this earth, which is the Second Israel — must govern the spirit world.
And to attend to the Lord who comes, one must keep the body undefiled and become pure and without blemish and form a bond with the Lord. Having prepared the qualifications of a bride whom the Lord, the Bridegroom, can love, one must take part in the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
After that ceremony is finished, anyone who is not reborn through the bond of love with the Lord — who appears as True Parent — cannot become the Third Israel.
Therefore, the parents, until now, although they look like parents, are not parents.
Although they look like wife and children, they are not wife and children. Although they look like sons and daughters, they are not sons and daughters. Anyone who lacks the earnest heart to love Heaven more than anyone he loves and cannot reach that position is judged. Those who, because of their sons and daughters or wife or children or beloved people, cannot walk the path they must walk are judged.
The providence of restoration is carried out according to the principle of Heavenly Law. To restore the standard of the heart is the principle of liberation from han.
The han is that there is no son or daughter whom God, having received His blessing, standing in the place of heaven and earth, can embrace and love with joy in the state without the consciousness of sin from the Fall. Are there such people in this heaven and earth today? There are not.
Now the Lord must come and produce such people. But does the Lord come riding on the clouds? Christians say so. The Unification Church has come forth to awaken such a multitude.
Because human beings have lost the True Parents, they must be restored along the path by which they lost the True Parents. I yearn. You must yearn too. We do not know what the love-heart of the True Parents is like, what the love of a true husband and wife is like, what the bond of love of true children is like. We do not know.
Look at the Bible. It says we are like widows and orphans. The people of the world, even though they have parents, are orphans. Even though they have husbands, they are widows. From the standpoint of the original principle, this is the position they are in. So it is.
Because this is a history advancing toward that standard, that one foothold of the heart, let us raise our hands and cry out toward Heaven. We must gather our hearts, fall, and weep aloud. With what? “God! What is the love-heart of the True Parents that You set as the ideal and intended to establish?
What is the love between a true husband and wife?
What is the bond of true brothers and sisters? — Like this. We must know this. Heaven, to set up such a standard, has come forth carrying out the heart-level providence of restoration.
Because Adam and Eve were the matrix of the Fall, He could not carry out the providence of restoration through them. Therefore, He set up Cain and Abel and worked through them. Because the parents had been broken, He had to work through the children.
Where else is there an injustice such as this?
Salvation became necessary before those for whom the noun "salvation" should not even have been needed.
The Providence of Restoration to Establish the True Parents
Setting up Cain and Abel, He hoped to indemnify the parents' mistake and form a family that Heaven could bless, but they too failed; both the parents became enemies before Heaven, and the children became enemies as well.
Since the children whom Heaven could not recognize and the parents whom Heaven could not recognize had come about, He must enter in through an inverse course. By an inverse course, He sets up the children and intends to send the parents to them. This is the providence of restoration.
Although Adam and Eve had become ruined parents, if Cain had not killed his younger brother, Cain and Abel could have established the standard of the True Parents. He set up Cain and Abel to establish that standard, but because Cain killed Abel, it was broken. So, 1,600 years passed.
Thus, after 1,600 years of unspeakable hardship, the family roughly equivalent to the form of the eight family members lost in Adam's family was the family of Noah.
Here, someone may say it would be enough for Grandfather Noah alone to gain victory; what does it have to do with his sons? Yet without bringing the parent-child bond to its conclusion, complete victory cannot be achieved.
Only when there are both parents and children is the victorious standard of the principle of heaven and earth established. What had been built up by establishing Noah was, by the mistake of Noah's son Ham, broken with great regret; and although He set up Abraham to set up the standard, Abraham erred in the offering, and so it was again broken with great regret.
Therefore, he set up Jacob to fight against Esau. While the scope is enlarged externally, internally it narrows down progressively. So it is when one looks at the lineage restoration that has come forth.
In Adam and Eve's time, He divided Cain and Abel and made it a contest of subjugating Cain. Because Satan had set out first, the firstborn was on Satan's side, and the secondborn was on Heaven's side. Therefore, looking at the Bible, all the firstborns were struck. The firstborn is on Satan's side.
So having Cain, the firstborn, submit before Abel, He sought to recover the standard of the victorious parents; but when that foundation was broken, on the foundation of 1,600 years of unspeakable hardship and labor, He established Noah's family to restore the form of the eight family members of Adam's family that had been lost; yet because Noah and his sons and daughters could not become one, that too was broken.
Abel, as the younger brother, had to seize the blessing of his elder brother Cain and return it to Heaven. He had to seize the satanic world that had set out first and return it.
With Abraham, it was the same. At that time, in dealing with humanity, because God could not deal with them directly, He dealt through offerings. The offering substitutes for the son and is what fulfills one's wish. In it, the son is included, material things are included, and the world is included.
Therefore, fallen humanity must bow its head before the offering and absolutely obey, and only then can Satan be cut off. But because Abraham erred in offering the sacrifice, the symbolic father-son bond could not be matched, and so it was broken again.
Yet upon the foundation of 2,000 years of unspeakable hardship and labor since Adam, Jacob, who was again chosen and established, seized Esau's birthright.
Some may say, "What sort of God is this who blesses Jacob, who deceived his father and seized his elder brother's blessing — but that is the principle. It is the principle of Heavenly Law. He overturns it as an inverse course. Why must it be so? You all know through the principle of restoration.
In Adam's family, He sought to restore it by bearing brothers. Bit by bit, he goes into the foundation. Then he sought to restore it through twins. Jacob and Esau were twins. He must restore it by bearing twins. Bit by bit, he restores it by going into the foundation. You must know this.
Only when fundamental restoration is brought to its conclusion is God's liberation from han accomplished. Because He must bear them within Satan's lineage realm and resolve han through them, the matter is dire.
Through 2,000 years of labor, Esau and Jacob are at last born as twins through the body of Rebecca. Born as twins, the younger must dominate the elder. He must seize. Jacob must take possession of God's blessing. The principle is so. Born as twins on the same day, of the same age, in such a position, he must seize it and hand it over.
Next, in the time of Judah, Judah produced Perez and Zerah through Tamar. What in Adam's time had sought restoration through bearing brothers, Jacob succeeded in by being born as a twin; from here, restoration moves into restoration in the womb — restoration in the womb. He must struggle and gain victory inside the womb. Therefore, having set up the standard of victory by which restoration could be made within the womb, Perez was born.
In the Last Days, this standard fits the world. The hand of the elder, Zerah, who came out first, was tied with a scarlet thread; this foreshadows that communism would come forth in the world. But it is only momentary.
Just as Zerah tried to act as the elder brother, but the younger Perez pushed past and came forth, communism too must be subdued. It must be broken.
Thus, you have learned that the ancestors in providential history accomplished, symbolically and figuratively, the principled standard for restoring heaven and earth, and that this must again be substantially restored through indemnity.
Because the time has now come when this must be brought to its conclusion on a worldwide scope and brought to its conclusion substantially, just as the hand of Zerah, who tried to come forth first, had a scarlet thread tied around it, the communist forces are coming forth on this earth with the authority to dominate the world. Because the form of the victorious son who can receive the Blessing has not yet appeared, they appear at the front.
Yet when the victorious son who can receive Heaven's Blessing appears, they perish. Because the principle is so, on the day when the substantial foundation of victory — the lineage-level standard of heart with Christianity as background — is established, this world is broken apart.
Because the principle is so, the worldwide struggle of Perez and Zerah, the form of lineage-level restoration in the womb, is being waged on a worldwide scale.
Going still further into the foundation, there are Bridegroom and Bride. Jesus carries out his work, looking forward to that time.
Without Bridegroom and Bride, can one be conceived in the womb?
After restoration in the womb comes the restoration of the Bridegroom and the Bride. Therefore, in the time of historical conclusion, while gathering things up externally, the lineage-level standard must be brought to completion by establishing the Bridegroom and Bride. Only then is the providence of restoration concluded.
Because this has not been done, however many human beings there are on this earth, God has never once been able to say “my son” or “my daughter.” Only after the standard of the True Parents is concluded can He say "my son" or “my daughter.”
Only after the True Parents are established on this earth can He do so. The principle of Heavenly Law is so. Since it is a restoration, it must be so, must it not?
Restoration Through the Struggle of Good and Evil
Who is Jesus, who is the Lord of the Second Advent, and why is there the Marriage Supper of the Lamb?
It is to restore the True Parents. It is God's han that, because Adam and Eve in Eden, by the tragic act of marriage, fell, He could not perform the proclamation ceremony of raising His hand and blessing them, saying, “You are the eternal victors, the True Parents,” as the original parents in place of all things of heaven and earth.
So we must go back and match it. To do so, we must set up the condition of having gained victory over external Satan and match it to the principle. Otherwise, Satan will by no means submit. Satan, who has confronted Heaven through history, will absolutely not submit unless the foundation of restoration is settled.
Therefore, you must know. They say that the Lord is coming, but to come before that Lord, you must know God's heart, who, in Adam's family, caused Cain and Abel to fight. Should it not be so?
You must become a companion of God's heart. Narrowing it down, you must know God's heart, who, after setting up Esau and Jacob born as twins, embraced Jacob in sorrow for 21 years, and who set up an apparently illegitimate standard of blessing and caused Jacob to seize the elder brother's birthright.
Next, you must know God's heart, who had to make Perez and Zerah, the sons, illegitimately conceived in the womb of Judah's daughter-in-law Tamar, fight in the womb to drive out the chief of Satan. You must know.
If you do not know, you have no relation whatsoever to the cosmic providence of restoration to form heart-level bonds of lineage. Why must they fight from inside the womb? You must know such things.
Then all of this unfolds on a worldwide scale.
Today is the historical exhibition age in which this struggle ends. It is the exhibition age of the 6,000-year history of salvation, the providence of restoration. Look. From now on, many spiritual mediums will appear whom you will not understand. Many will go about dancing naked. Watch and see.
Many people you will not understand will appear. All sorts of people will appear. But do not despise them. You are more pitiful than they. The one who despises is the more pitiful one.
Even so, they are people who, having formed some bond with the spirit world, have come to act before the standard of heart, forgetting all the things of the world, forgetting their dignity and face. The time will come when those who despised them as madmen will bow their heads to the madmen.
Now you must know that within yourselves there is something like Perez and Zerah. Is there or is there not?
The body is like Zerah and the mind is like Perez; therefore, the mind must strike the body, and one must be born again. If one cannot do this, it cannot be.
If one cannot do this, one cannot, on an individual level, cross over the standard of the True Parents.
Now is the time when both must be born at once. Before sons and daughters who have passed through restoration in the womb, the Lord comes as Bride and Bridegroom. Upon that foundation as a base, restoration enters in.
Because fundamental restoration must be made, passing through twin restoration and restoration in the womb, one must pass through the gate of Bride and Bridegroom. Without passing through the gate of Bride and Bridegroom, can a child be born? Therefore, the Bride and Bridegroom must be established.
The Blessing ceremony of Bride and Bridegroom must unfold on this earth, and they must complete the standard of parents whom heaven and earth can publicly recognize and become sons and daughters who have received the Blessing from those parents.
From those parents, one must receive the teaching that this and that have been the providence of the restoration of Heaven, grasp it through experience, and let the mind govern the body.
If one cannot, you have nothing to do with Heaven. The Lord who comes will come bringing the word of authority, the word of truth that can mercilessly cut off this body soaked through these 6,000 years with Satan's blood. But if one has not concluded that standard, it has nothing to do with you. Watch. Whether the man who has spoken here lied. The principle of restoration is so.
Although you wish to become this and that, that cannot be. Because the Cain element, the Esau element, and the illegitimate resentment are latent within this very body of mine, the 6,000-year final reckoning fight is being waged.
Therefore, the worldwide terror is my terror, this nation's terror is my terror, this family's terror is my terror, and the spirit world's terror also assails me as my terror. Is it not so?
When this comes pouring in as one wave, these are the Last Days. Know this clearly. If you cannot believe, pray. Whether the words of the man speaking here in sweat are lies.
The Final Reckoning of the History of the Fall
Your matter of life and death stands on the cusp. The dread time is approaching when, taking the heart as the standard, you must determine whether it is death or life. Because I know this, I am anxious.
How shall I pour out this heart?
Strength is wanting. Anyone whose bones and flesh stir must know all of this.
Should it not be so? At a year-end final reckoning in a company, the accounts of every department, every section, and every team for the entire year must add up exactly. At that time, all the staff bear joint responsibility. If even one part is caught up, all is unresolved.
Likewise, since this is the time of the historical final reckoning, the individual's problem is the world's problem, and the world's problem is the individual's problem.
Likewise, this nation's problem is the world's problem, my family's problem is the world's problem, and the world's problem is the problem of this nation and of my family. Therefore, my individual problem is at once the world's problem and God's problem.
Here, a final reckoning must be made and matched against some scheduled program—the heart-level standard that Heaven has expended. What was expended in Adam's family, what was expended in Noah's family, and what was expended in the time of Jacob?
What was expended in Moses' time? In Jesus' time, what has been expended throughout these 6,000 years?
Making a final reckoning of the heart-level standard expended, if you fall short, you are driven out.
You must come up with a surplus. Therefore, you must say, “Here it is. I have brought even one penny of profit before, Father; though insufficient, please receive it.” That is what bridal adornment is. Do you think one adorns the bride with money, with property, with honor? By no means.
Because God has the heart of a parent and yet, since the human world came into being, has not once been able to embrace and love His child, the world of the Way has urged celibate life. Because the parents who could represent heaven and earth have not yet come forth, the han of not having formed a family remains in the heavens, and so can fallen children become parents? That is why seekers of the Way live celibate. There is the cause. When the order is reversed, that is the Fall. When the subject and object are reversed, things break.
Heaven is waiting. It is not that God's heart of love is blocked. It is not that the God of love does not wish to embrace human beings and weep aloud, but does not wish to teach.
Do you know how much He has wished to teach, how much He has grieved?
Until True Parents, who can represent the heavenly law of kinship and have passed through the principle of creation, come forth, until some sons and daughters have formed a bond of heart with the blood and flesh of True Parents, He cannot bless.
If this standard is not established, the world will simply continue fighting. The man who stands here also cries out today for the sake of this very ideal.
What must fallen descendants long for?
It is not to bear many sons and daughters. Do not boast that you have your sons and daughters. Do not boast of having parents, a wife, and children. What must we lament and bemoan? It is that the True Parents whom Heaven seeks to establish are not. We must weep aloud over this.
Although God loved humanity and lifted up His hand to bless them, that they could not become parents of hearts whom heaven and earth could publicly recognize is the Fall.
That in such parents' embrace they could not have brothers and sisters who sang of bonds of heart in which God could rejoice is the Fall. That in such parents' embrace they could not have brothers and sisters who sang of bonds of heart in which God could rejoice is the Fall. That, going beyond brothers' bonds, they could not form a society, nation, and world is the Fall.
You must know this. I would like to give every explanation here in a concrete and detailed fashion, but because of time, I cannot speak in greater detail, and that is regrettable. Yet you must clearly know that fundamental restoration must be carried through. The man who speaks here knew it.
When I was in prison and my parents came and shed tears, I said, “What relation do you and I have?” I actually said such a thing. Because I knew the path of the heavenly bond is so, and because they could not be a help on this path but were a hindrance.
Until now, my parents have not known what I have been doing. Wife and children, I say, if they are in such a position, go. Even at the cost of being cursed by the world, if they cannot become such brothers, I say, go. Whether one curses, whether anyone says anything, whatever may come, it cannot be helped. I would venture to declare that Unification believers have a destiny in which they must carry this within their hearts.
If, having come in here, you can leap over the standard of such bonds, saying, “Hallelujah, thank you, of course,” and love Heaven more than your own parents, more than your wife, more than your children, and form a bond with the heart of the True Parents, you will absolutely not be judged.
You will absolutely not be judged. All believers who have until now believed in the established churches must know what is happening with this matter. To handle a business task, one must know how that task stands. The time to weep aloud has come.
The Eternal Victor
You who have flocked here, this man here has never once held his child's hand and said with his heart, “You are my child.” The child grows up in another's hand. Even when the child says, “Father, take me with you when you go,” I say, “No.”
I face him in the position of a third party. Why is this? Because before I can give the final reckoning of the parental heart and be publicly recognized before Heaven, to face my child with my heart would be a sin. To face my wife and children with my heart would be a sin. To face my parents with my heart would be a sin.
That is why Jesus said,
"Whoever does not love me more than his parents or wife or children or brothers cannot be my disciple."
This is not my word. When one comes to know, it is truly so.
You! The man speaking here is not inadequate. There is content within which I can stand against anyone said to be most outstanding. The reason I go on, even while being cursed, is that there is content.
There is content as firm as iron and stone. Because there is content as firm as iron and stone, even though 2.7 billion clamor like roaring lions, I throw my whole self into fighting. I made up my mind about this long ago. Why? Because I knew that the road Heaven drives me along is the road I must walk. “Friends, go. Beloved parents, go. Wife and children, go. My body, go. All of you, go. All of you, go.”
All that remained was a single-hearted devotion: “When you weep, I will weep; when you grieve, I will grieve; when you suffer, I will suffer; when you are driven, I will be driven; when you are trampled upon, I will be trampled upon.” That is all.
If there are sons and daughters who, pierced with such a heart, cry out “Father!” — could God send the fire of judgment upon them? He could not.
In this empty and untrustworthy heaven and earth, whom can one trust?
Knowing that parents are not eternal parents, knowing that wife and children are not eternal wife and children, knowing that brothers are not eternal brothers, knowing that this world we live in is not the eternal world in which we can attend God and live, knowing that this is not the world in which God can say, “You are my people, my sons, and daughters”—we must go.
I yearned. I yearned for the time when I could attend the original parents. On the day when I can attend the original brothers, I will weep aloud. That day is overwhelming. That overwhelming heart cannot be exhausted in one year nor in ten years. Because I knew the heart of Heaven, who looks with anguish upon human beings who cannot reach out their hands even when blessing is given, I do this thing. You who are not strangers — why have you walked the path of being driven? You are pitiful people. But while one without a purpose, when placed in a pitiful situation, would complain, if one has hope and a clear purpose for a new day and can sing the chastity of life and can sing happiness from the heart, then even though you die, you are victors.
We must know what the han of Jesus is. Because Jesus came to this earth as a parent and, dying without becoming a parent, has trodden the han of restoration for 2,000 years, He has become a forlorn God, a forlorn Jesus, and a forlorn Holy Spirit, who, unable to escape the seat of sorrow, follows the footprints of history. God is our original Father, Jesus is the Father of our body, and the Holy Spirit is the Mother of our body.
What of the Trinity?
They are all empty cliques. In this world where truth seems false and falsehood seems true, an autopsy must be done. O true one! There will be a time when you will appear; though trampled in the gutter, your value will be revealed.
So we must endure, grit our teeth, and unite, firm as iron and stone, and, without losing his dignity and face, become sons and daughters who can give off fragrance, taking after his existential position and value, his eternal and dignified figure.
Thus, on the day when the heart of a parent is determined, the world will be moved. The spirit world will be born before him as the First Israel; the world's Christians will be born as the Second Israel.
When the multitude blessed through that parent of heart appears in heaven and earth as the Third Israel, God will be able to embrace them and say, “Hallelujah, amen. The liberation of restoration has been accomplished. The han of heart has been resolved. Satan, who for 6,000 years boasted in your form and stood imposing and proud — come out and try!”
Yet because the sovereign of the heart has not yet come forth on the earth, He cannot do so. The reason a child can receive the legacy of his parent boldly and confidently, regardless of age, is that there is a bond of the heart that none can violate.
The Qualifications to Become Heaven's Children
Only the child who can commune with the heart of the parent can receive the inheritance of the parent. To become a son or daughter who, before God, who has set up the great providence of heaven and earth and awaits the liberation of restoration, can govern this heaven and earth and claim the world as his own—what must one do? Knowing the Bible well does not make it so.
One may not know it. Even if one is uneducated and beggarly, it is well. Even if one's face is unattractive, even if one's clothes are ragged, it is well.
Even if one eats with dirty hands, it is well. If one is such a person that, when calling out to Father, his voice trembles and he is awed even to put out his hand, and his heart can leap over and turn into the heart of Father, that one can become God's son or daughter. Until this standard is set up, you absolutely cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Parents must come forth on the earth and resolve it on the earth, and only then will it be resolved in heaven; what is bound on the earth is bound in heaven.

The body (substance) was lost on the earth, and so the body must be sought on the earth. Therefore, that the True Parent — that is, the Lord — must come bearing flesh is the natural principle. Those who oppose this are stones. They are people whose heads are hard. It is the natural principle. Of all the ancestors who came and went on this earth in 6,000 years, none knew this.
Who are our ancestors?
Since we have fallen, it is in an inverse course. From the fallen dimension, our ancestors are ancestors, but from Heaven's side, the one who comes later becomes the ancestor. The one who comes later is the ancestor. You must know this. The time is now when the world-level Parents come forth, the world-level family comes forth, the world-level sovereignty comes forth. This wretched world must all be overturned. Yet should it perish? I pray for that very reason.
You have now come to know where your hearts are running. Where do your hearts run? If there is one who, having prepared the standard of heart, has communed with the heart of the parent, although he is on the earth, he has the authority to direct the entire spirit world. Whether so, try to commune.
The spirit world is the First Israel. That is equivalent to the angelic world before the Fall. Because Jesus made spiritual restoration in a form equivalent to the angelic world just before the Fall, the spirit people remaining within the realm of Paradise are equivalent to angels. Because I know this principle, the man who speaks here today has had countless battles with the spirit world.
Once one has set up the standard of having fought and gained victory, he is given the authority on the earth to direct the countless spirit people in the spirit world. He becomes able to govern the angels in heaven. Only such a person can drive Satan away. Satan flees.
Stuffing all sorts of things into one's belly and stuffing all sorts of things into one's brain, then crying out “Oh! In the name of the Lord!” however much — try whether it works. It does not. Until the standard of heart is set up, it cannot be.
Will it work if, drawing up a document of one's own accord and going before God, one says, “I am Your son” or “Your daughter”? It is utterly out of the question.
As I know and believe, calling out to Father is not so simple. With the standard of heart, when one possesses the authority to handle and command everything in the spirit world, Satan flees. One must become such a person. To do so, one must hold the leadership of the heart. That is the principle.
The World Governed by Those Centered on the Heart
When such a son or daughter is born on this earth, the world's Christians on the earth — that is, the Second Israel — will be brought under his rule. Only on such a day does the history of unification unfold. They will be brought under his rule.
However much they pound and prance and do all manner of things, in the end, they will be defeated. Should it not be so? Only thus is it satisfying.
Only thus is He the true God. If God were a God who decides victory or defeat by power, what use is such a God?
If He were such a God, the providence of restoration would not have taken 6,000 years.
You must become sons and daughters who move when God moves and stand still when God stands still, who can grieve when God grieves, who, when God weeps, weep without ceasing, and who, when God rejoices, can dance, forgetting their own face.
When Elder Song laughed during the prayer earlier, those who saw it for the first time would have found it laughable. But the one who laughed is more laughable.
The providence of restoration to bring to its conclusion the liberation of the heart's han begins from you. The restoration of the heart begins not from heaven, not from the world, but from within your hearts. How awesome is that! Not the heavenly world. Not this world. It is your hearts.
The place where the liberation of the heart's han is brought to completion is the place where the individual yearns for the value of the whole and the whole sings the value of the individual.
Didn't Jesus also say, “I am in the Father, you are in me, and I am in you”?
Centering on the standard of the heart, even though one's value may be small, transcending the limits of time, space, and distance, it can stand side by side boldly with the value of the whole. A single hair of the beloved is dearer than tens of millions in diamonds. Is it so or not?
One who has such a standard is Heaven's possession. Before one with such a bond, however much you tell Satan not to flee, Satan cannot but flee. Because the heavenly law of kinship is so.
Sons and daughters bound with such a heart appear; the family formed by such sons and daughters, the nation formed by such sons and daughters, and the world formed by such sons and daughters come about, and our Father becomes King of kings and the eternal Sovereign forever and ever.
You must become His sons and daughters. Heart-level sons and daughters, historical sons and daughters. The heart is the same a thousand years ago as ten thousand years from now.
For 6,000 years, He has hurried about, taking no thought of mountains and rugged valleys, struggling. The han of that God must be resolved in our generation.
To resolve it, we must first know the historical heart, and with the heart of the True Parents, true husband and wife, and true brothers, we must lay hold of Father. That joy is not a joy of heaven but a joy that this body of mine on earth can sing—a joy grasped through experience.
The value of myself must become a cosmic value so that when I say, “Follow me,” they can say, “Yes, I will follow you; I will praise you.” Only when sons and daughters who can stand on such a standard are produced will God's wish — God who, having created all things of heaven and earth, blessed them — be fulfilled.
Only thus will the heart of han, by which God seeks to recover fallen humanity, be liberated, and only then will the garden of freedom unfold in which He can at last embrace and love beloved sons and daughters.
The first gateway is the True Parents. The time has come to cry out, “Sleeping humanity, awake!” The True Parents who were lost 6,000 years ago come again to this earth. Heaven has so labored to send those Parents, to send His beloved Son as a gift.
The One who, to send those Parents, pierced through Satan's iron net and pierced down to the bottom of hell, who, in front, has shed blood, been struck, been despised, has come forth in agony and weeping aloud — that One is God. You must clearly know that He is the God who, the great Sovereign and great King hungry for heart for 6,000 years, has come forth struggling until now.
We must console God. That God earnestly wished to judge all matters of the world at once, but you must know that, because His purpose is, His wish and hope are on this earth, and He has gazed upon them and endured and endured and endured.
We must call such a Godfather. We must call Him “Father” — not the God of name only, but the God of heart. Thus, there must come forth on this earth a new ideology by which our kindred who are not kindred, parents who are not parents, brothers who are not brothers — mobilized worldwide — can establish the chastity of Heaven, form a bond with the heart of Heaven, transcend east and west, past and present, transcend peoples and nations, and move centered on the heart of heaven. If that does not come forth, the world will be broken apart.
The man who today cries out here also does so because he has come to know this fact.
If you do not know this, you will all perish. Out of the thirty million people, or out of the world's population of 2.7 billion, even if one person comes forth who knows this and acts upon it, the world will be conquered by that person.
The world will become that person's world, that person's people. I can declare undoubtedly that the world will become a world that such a multitude can govern.
Prayer
Although the sorrowful circumstances of going and coming may be many, we know that history will not be resolved by holding fast to them and weeping. We have spoken that even if one does not know how to weep, if there is one who comes forward at the level of the heart for Father's sake, that one will inherit Father's Will and be raised before Father.
Through the message they have heard today, please let them taste a new joy deep in the breast and have an astonishing experience of the heart, so that they may say: “This is the value of human beings; this is the meaning of the Bible; this is how the world's bonds came to be; this is the content of Heaven's heart.”
We have learned that the center of the Word is this, the purpose of human beings is this, the purpose of the world is this, and God's purpose is this; therefore, with this standard, one will meet God, will meet the world's humanity, will meet the people, will meet brothers, will meet parents.
Father, in what position do we stand today? Hearing it, it is a sorrowful fact. The one who cannot grasp it through experience will be in agony. We have learned that, unless we run this path with our lives at stake and grasp Father's heart through experience, the world of love will block our way.
At this time when the han of lamentation sweeps over our individual selves and over the world, we earnestly desire and beseech that we be made sons and daughters who, with the standard of heart alone made into the unchanging center together with the principle of Heavenly Law, can mock the world and mock the authority of the satanic world, and rejoice together with Heaven — sons and daughters who have completed the standard of heart of the Kingdom of Heaven.
That I can speak such words in such a place as this today is also the last in this 40-year course of life.
Earnestly desiring that, taking this one hour as the turning point, a day of bright light may be granted to us tomorrow, we have prayed all these words in the name of the Lord. Amen.
