One Must Return to Essential Nature
One must boast of “the God who wished to boast.” Now is such a time. This Message was given on Sunday, February 8, 1959. How old was I then?
It was when I was thirty-nine, was it not? It was spoken when there was no Mother. It was when I was being opposed at the height of it. 「For the scripture you read, Genesis Chapter 1, verses 24 to 31.
In those days, if I did not speak using the scripture, the opposition grew greater and greater. That is why I spoke using the Bible, and this, which I spoke for twenty years, is the content you must teach when you go into Christianity. It is the Message I gave for twenty years to save the Christians, the dying people who opposed me then. They are precious Messages.
The point is that this is content to speak of going not only into the established churches but into the whole religious realm. The point is that everything about this era was being spoken of then. The titles are exactly so.
Now, continue the Hoon Dok. (Hoon Dok continues: That is why fallen human beings must pass through a course of casting aside themselves, going beyond themselves, and hanging up and boasting of the center of the group in the group, the center of the province in the province, the center of the nation in the nation, the center of the world in the world, and, further, in heaven and earth, of God, who is the center of heaven and earth. We must know that, failing that, one cannot stand as a being of boast before God……)
Nowadays, in our Unification Church too, there are many cliques, but are there that many cliques? I have no single clique. What would become of it if one raised cliques? One must digest the clique, make the clique disappear, and return to God. The point is that one must return to essential nature. People who exalt someone's name are fakes.
I am too. It is not that I exalt the name Sun Myung Moon. I have never done such an antic. I am so even now. I do not boast that I am the returning Lord, the Savior, or some person responsible for the world. That, rather, brings down the foundation. One must exalt God. One should exalt the One above, but does one say that oneself, who is below, will be exalted? Where is there such a thief? There must not be such a sort of lot.
If one means to make money by leaning on me or to rise in the world by leaning on me, they are all thieves. I am too. I do not think of anything whatsoever as my own. Eternally, I adorn it as something public, embroider it, and add even what I have, and think of leaving it as something beautiful. The point is that if one says it is one's own, one is a thief.
The young people here put strength into their necks, saying they are outstanding, but where does that strength come from? It is for the sake of boasting of essential nature; is it for boasting of oneself?
Does one live a thousand, ten thousand years?
The mind of the original heart boasts centering on the ten-thousand universe, and one is set to follow it; but, putting oneself forward, can one remain forever even when, after a thousand, ten thousand years, all things have vanished? Things that will vanish before even a hundred years are doing so.
Hey, Shin-cheon! You are embraced by Grandmother too, but you keep looking, wanting to come to me, and when I tell you to come, you cannot come because there are people. When the children see, once they come in here, to the Unification Church, they all call me King-Daddy.
Did I ask to be called King-Daddy?
Though I did not even teach it, they made it up themselves and do so. When they go home, while embraced by Grandmother, they say to go over there. The point is to go to Cheon Jeong Gung. How pure they are.
Even little children try to harmonize that way, in the law of reason, but the lots that put themselves forward, having received the good-for-nothing seed of the fall, all vanish. Who exalts them?
Does the schoolteacher exalt them?
The law is not made that way. When one comes to Reverend Moon, do I tell them to eat breakfast and serve me from one to a hundred? I do not tell them to serve me. What would become of it if they served me?
Chairman Moon also develops through the eight stages from the individual era, so the point is, what would become of it if one served me? I teach the people who follow what I know, and how much is that teaching?
All the textbooks and teaching materials about the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven exist, but does it work for people who do not even know those textbooks and teaching materials to do as they please, saying, I am gone? They are thieves.
Be Publicly Recognized in Heaven and on Earth
If anyone says they are outstanding, do people recognize the outstanding thing? If you ask the grandfather and grandmother, “Is your grandson or granddaughter outstanding?” what do they answer?
The point is, what is outstanding about him?
If one asks in the village, the point is that he is a stubborn one who asserts only himself at home. The grandmother and grandfather say that the fellow has turned out badly.
Knowing such a thing, do they say in the village that our sons and daughters, grandsons and granddaughters, are the foremost? Because of those grandmother and grandfather, the household perishes. If one has become a teacher to the children, one must set them right as a teacher.
Did Chairman Moon develop this way by advertising himself?
I developed while being persecuted. Find out in the Republic of Korea. Among the lot, the people who, until now, have not read my autobiography are opposing me. They think themselves the foremost, but the point is, what becomes of all those people? Among such people, there are many nowadays who, having seen the autobiography, write letters to Chairman Moon. Saying they did wrong, you see.
If one did wrong to heaven and earth and says one did wrong to the individual called Chairman Moon, does Chairman Moon recognize that?
The point is to be publicly recognized in heaven and on earth. The point is to oppose as a reasonable representative in a place that, receiving the guarantee of the constitution, is not contrary to the law. There is no one who, opposing Chairman Moon, becomes a reasonable representative centering on the law of the Republic of Korea.
Among our children, too many say they will go, invited to Harvard or somewhere. Chairman Moon can be a university professor going anywhere, and can be a university president. I made universities too and made everything. I have raised presidential candidates too, and many presidents will come forth henceforth.
Yesterday, I permitted giving an honorary doctorate to the personage who becomes the representative here, but the world cannot say anything about my permitting that. The people to whom I have given an honorary doctorate exceed 180.
One cannot give to more than two persons a year at one university, but when I gave to some dozen people before, the Ministry of Education rose. Saying, “Goodness, the school rules are this, so can one do that?”
If the school rules are so, the Ministry of Education said to do away with Sun Moon University. Just try doing away with it. The Ministry of Education will blow away.
And the point is to compare the people to whom Chairman Moon gave an honorary doctorate with the people to whom other schools gave honorary doctorates. They cannot match even a tenth.
Do they think about dying for the sake of others?
Who is there who says they will go to a neighboring village and serve? I meant to do thirteen people, but cut it to nine, but if I simply leave it, the Ministry of Education cannot but recognize all thirteen people.
The “Yeong-Yeon-Se Association,” Connecting the Spirit World and the World, Governs
Does it work to boast because one achieved the summit oneself?
So one must live through it. The point is to live through ten years and live through fifty years. If one lives a hundred years, one must live through about half. Chairman Moon is now ninety-one years old. You young people here, how old are you? How old is that one over there? Forty-two. If forty-two, you have not lived even half of mine. Having not lived even half, how do you evaluate Chairman Moon?
Does Chairman Moon not know Communist theory, not know the religious theory of the democratic world? They cannot match the work Chairman Moon does. How do the high-and-mighty people fare with Chairman Moon?
If it is America, they come saying they are an American presidential candidate and will cut Chairman Moon down instantly, but coming to cut him down, they pack their bundle and flee.
How many such people were there?
Chairman Moon drove out such ill-natured people. In a place like Britain, of seventeen Nobel laureates, nine attended the British rally. The president of the Nobel laureates' association came and asked to meet me. Saying, “The rally is not over, and you ask to meet? Did you put up even a penny of money?
What is it that you supported in Reverend Moon's holding a meeting in Britain that you ask to meet? You failed to supervise, so those people came, and you came to me asking to send those people back? Wait!” — The point is that I said to meet me, to wait even three hours.
That British person was a gentleman. With what authority could he say, “Chairman Moon, do not hold a rally here! The dignity of the Nobel laureates is diminished.” Did those people come because he asked them to go? “The dignity of those people is the responsibility of those people, so what is your problem?
Do you know whether their dignity will improve or not?” — Such a lot all now say they will become my disciples, but Chairman Moon does not even deal with them. People who were kings, even waiting at the gate for some dozen years, are not met. I am such a person.
Looking at this, the era of the heart of Heaven comes forth, and it says, “It will play a role in assisting the Heavenly Calendar, which newly records and clearly indicates the Providence.” (True Father does Hoon Dok of a part of the lecture text titled “The Settlement of the Abel UN and the Completion of Cheon Il Guk Are in Korea”: As one part of preparing for that day, I proclaimed to all under heaven the departure of the “Heavenly Calendar” on February 14 of this year……)
Why was the 14th so important? Everyone does not know. (Hoon Dok continues: When the era of the substantial Heavenly Calendar unfolds, the “Yeong-Yeon-Se Association” stands on this earth in the position of the central axis and will at last govern all creation……) What governs? The “Yeong-Yeon-Se Association,” connecting the spirit world and the world, governs. The character “cooperate (協)” of association has, beside the cross (十), three forces (力), and that refers to God, Cain, and Abel.
Do the right eye and the left eye both have a vision of 1.2?
If complete, both should be 1.2, but there is below zero too.
If the eye is crooked, it is worse than being eye-disabled. Why did it become so?
It became so because of the ancestors. The nose too—there is the stuffy-nose one. There is no illness. Air enters here, and in the air, more than seventeen elements are present. They enter this way, but because the disliked elements do not enter, it becomes stuffy. But would one advertise oneself as a stuffy-nosed one? One says one is a complete person.
The mouth is too. If one lies well, the lips become twisted. The lips should be even, but they become crooked. If they are crooked, one lies. Looking at this, it is not straight. If a place like the philtrum is crooked, that person commits theft in their old age. (Interlacing the fingers of both hands.) Do this. Those whose left fingers go on top of the right fingers, raise your hands. The person whose right fingers go on top has a strong self-assertion. When I do this, the left fingers go on top. Such a person must serve and live for the sake of others.
One Who Was an Athlete from Childhood
So, there is no one who can match me in speaking. At once I say, “Why is your nose crooked? Since your nose is crooked, your mother and father did wrong!” Looking at the eye, the point is, “Why is the eye crooked?”
However demure a person stays, I know what that person fed on. The hand and the nose do not match. The mouth and the eye do not match either, and the nose and the eye do not match. Everything is mismatched. The point is that I know how to see that. (Hoon Dok continues: The “Yeong-Yeon-Se Association” stands in the position of the central axis and will at last govern all creation……)
The spirit world and the world are connected, and it becomes the Yeong-Yeon-Se Association. Such a time has come. That which is like the shadow of the spirit world is the earth. People who say they dislike the form of the shadow have no relation when all creation comes to be governed. There is the spiritual world and this earthly world, and the point is that this earthly world is like the shadow of the spiritual world.
The sun too has a halo, and the star too has a halo.
Do you know that the electric light, too, has a halo?
A being with no halo is a person with no shadow. The sun has risen, so where is there a person with no shadow? It is because there is no sun that the shadow appears absent. The halo is there for all.
I was an athlete from childhood. From seventeen to eighteen years of age, I did exercise. The point is that, to live to over seventy, anyone should do leg exercises. The point is to do exercises from the toes, the foot exercise.
Even now I do that exercise. One must not simply leave the feet, which moved all day, and sleep. One must do foot exercises. They tell you to walk a lot, do they not? If one does foot exercises, one does not need to walk. To do exercise by walking without doing foot exercise, one must exercise more than three times.
I have enough even doing only up to a third of an ordinary person's exercise. With all my strength, I exercise so that I can sustain myself, centering on my body. I am one who did much work. My feet are small, but you cannot know how much I walked. My hands are small too, but when I swim, I am fast. I was good at ssireum too. I lifted well with the inner-thigh throw. Was I not a ssireum athlete?
When you walk, you cannot keep up with me. An ordinary person walks like this — why do you walk that way? The foot does not rise more than three inches. The point is, walk below ten centimeters. Going this way wastes much, so I go below ten centimeters swiftly. In a place like the well-built buildings of Las Vegas, there are corridors over two hundred meters long. Raising the foot about two inches and stepping along, after going a few meters, one catches. Going along, I swing this way, and after walking about ten steps, my swinging hand touches the wall. The point is that the wall is wavy.
Does Chairman Moon not know how to do design, not know how to do anything? I know it all. Looking here too, there are many places where much money was spent in places that need no money spent.
Saying one would do well, one did it all nicely, but there is no need to do everything well. (Hoon Dok continues: On this earth, elections of a secular dimension can no longer be seen, and through the exchange of Blessing marriage, humanity becomes one family and, enjoying an age of great peace and tranquility, comes to enjoy peace and happiness……)
The age of great peace and tranquility (太平聖代) is not one where the corners are crooked. The point is that everything is level. Tai-pyeong — looking anywhere in the east, west, south, north, it is all level, not crooked. The character “holy (聖)” is “king (王)” of “ear (耳)” and “mouth (口).” The ear and the eye are the closest things. The thing called the eye (目) is the “ear (耳)” with its four corners removed.
The point is, why did the pictographic character become so?
The closest thing to the ear is the eye. There is the ear and the mouth, and if one hears a sound, the mouth must speak. One must say, “Good, bad.” The ear, mouth, and eye become king. If one removes the four corners from the character “ear (耳),” it becomes the eye. The eye, ear, and mouth becoming king is what is holy. The Word must be holy, the hearing must be holy, and then the seeing must be holy.
The point is that if what the eye sees and what the ear hears differ, a fake arises. The nose is high, and the high thing has taken its place exactly in the center of the face, and if that is crooked, it differs. If it is crooked, the body walks this way. A person on whom this line goes this way and becomes this way — the sweat comes this way, and all spreads out. The mouth protrudes, too, and the chin protrudes. Such a person rises in the world in his old age.
Be Upright and Dignified
So, the point is to be upright and dignified (正正堂堂). If one is “upright, upright,” going this way it is straight and that way it is straight, going up it is straight and going down it is straight.
The “dang (堂)” of “dignified, dignified” is the character “house.” The character “house (堂)” is “earth (土)” below “esteem (尙),” and upon the “earth (土)” this must be set straight; it must not be crooked. Upright and dignified! The words are all set up that way.
Round, round! They tell one to live round, round, and such a person rises in the world. Round and round, one can attach going here and can attach going there. (Hoon Dok continues: With a providential eye, the flow of human history……) The character “conduct (攝)” of providence has three of the character “ear (耳).” It is the will of Heaven, the will of man, and the will of all creation.
This is the “hand radical (扌),” the “hand (手)” radical. It refers to skill. The character “principle (理)” is “village (里)” beside “king (王).” The character “reach (致)” of “principle” has “father (攵)” with the character “arrive (至).” The point is that even reaching a high place, unless one goes to the position of the father, one cannot govern. Skill alone will not do.
The thing called “teaching (敎)” has “father (攵)” with the radical “filial piety (孝).” One cannot believe in religion. How can a person who cannot serve the father believe in religion? The character “govern (政)” of politics is the character “right (正)” with a father (攵).
It was said that if the Unification Church's Chairman Moon exists, he ruins the Republic of Korea, was it not? They said I ruined the Republic of Korea, but nowadays they say that without me, the Republic of Korea would come to great trouble. There are many people who, having seen the autobiography, with their eyes turned red, weep looking at me.
In the old days, if I went along the street, the lot who scattered leaflets, held placards, and opposed me now, if I go, stand in the road and, shedding tears, say, “Oh my, I am sorry. Forgive me!” “Why?” “Seeing the autobiography, Chairman Moon is such a person, but I opposed without knowing anything, so with what shall I be forgiven?" is the point. There is no need even to go to God. Moreover, that they could not be forgiven by God and were confined to hell goes without saying, but the person himself did wrong. Did they do so without even finding out?
Did they once try to meet Chairman Moon?
There are several thousand volumes of secret books, and Chairman Moon announced several thousand volumes, but they did all manner of ranting, calling Chairman Moon bad without reading even one page.
The pastors of the established churches must flee even if an elementary-school student of our Unification Church goes seeking them. Can one oppose without seeing with the eye, without smelling the scent, without questioning and answering with the mouth, without hearing with the ear, without once dealing with the face?
If the Soviet Union and America Do Exchange Marriage
I have no friends and no teachers. I do not believe anyone. I most dislike memorizing and reciting because there is a good word. I have aptitudes beyond that. What happened to the prayer from when I was seventeen, seventy-two years later, at the Western Poets' Association? Among the 1,700 to 2,400 gathered, they decided on Chairman Moon's poem as the first prize.
Setting up nine question-and-answer conditions, the point was whether they fit them or not. A thousand people read it and found it moving. The point is that it had a depth and content one had not felt in any poem. I did a circuit of fifty states in America, and after that rally was over, a notice came.
Saying that, though it is your poem of seventy-two years ago, the people of consequence of the Western poets' association gathered and, centering on nine conditions, gave it the first prize because the content was too moving. They sent even the sharing and the booklets of the people who evaluated it.
So, people who are called poets, if they say Chairman Moon is wrong, their signboard falls off. That book exists even now. Anyone can view it. There is the medal and all such things, but there is no one who knows. And I have never boasted of it. No one knows. Hyo-yul, you said you carried that poem about, did you not? Yes. Did you submit it, and did it become so? No. I happened to find it when I went to the Los Angeles church around 1982, and from then I have carried it about.
How many years has it been since you had it and carried it since then?
From then on, I still carry it about. You still carry it about — is the content still interesting even now? 「It is profound.」 So the point is that it is different.
That person, too, when I see him, has deep poetic sentiment. Looking at how he writes a sentence, he cuts what is to be cut and knows what to put in the corner. That is why I keep him about. At times, I write a manuscript, and when I say, “Read this once!” because at some rally up to several thousand people gather and it will become famous, I know that he, saying, “It would be good if even a single word of mine entered here,” neatly inserts it. I am not a scarecrow.
When I was thirteen, among the people famous in village after village, there were many who said they would make me a son-in-law. Already, before the age of fifteen, a rumor had spread. The point was that one is better than a saint or a sage. When such a praised Reverend Moon was persecuted by the people of the Republic of Korea, by religious people, they said, “That is the end of him,” but they did not know. It was not the end.
When I weep aloud while praying, my entrails are severed. It is palpable, you see. Because I know and feel that and pray, it is different. Nowadays I do not do that. Gathering such a lot and raising them this much, now they have become able to understand the words I speak. It took several decades. Even doing a study, how many years is it? With university, is it sixteen years? Elementary school for six years, middle, and high school for twelve years, and then university for sixteen years.
Even after studying for more than sixteen years, the intelligence that can evaluate Chairman Moon does not reach. I think so. Why is that? How grave was Chairman Moon? What others would investigate over three months, I finish in three days. (Hoon Dok continues: On this earth, elections of a secular dimension can no longer be seen……)
The point is that elections are abolished. Next year, elections are abolished. We are now preparing that. The only ones who can do that are us. (Hoon Dok continues: Through the exchange of Blessing marriage, humanity becomes one family……)
Exchange marriage! Crossing is done one by one, and exchange is done by the whole.
If the Soviet Union and America were to exchange marriages, in a single evening, the two nations would become one nation. How many years ago did I do the exchange marriage between Japan and Korea? I had 6,500 couples exchange marriages as Japanese and Korean. Because I did that, I was cursed. I was cursed in the nation of Japan, too, and was cursed in the nation of Korea, too. They said, “He is doing that to ruin the nation!” But what did he mean to do by it? They did not know what he meant to do.
Everyone Was Born as a Dead Person at Birth
What does one do nowadays?
When a person dies, one must do the Seonghwa ceremony. When Nicodemus met Jesus and asked, “What must I do to go to the Kingdom of Heaven?” he said one must be reborn. Then, when he said, “How can an adult enter again into his mother's womb and come out?” the point is that one must receive the rebirth Blessing. Then one must receive the resurrection Blessing.
Because they are dead people, they must come alive. The point is that one must be resurrected. When a young man who followed Jesus came and, saying his father had died, said, “Let me leave you and bury our father. Because it would be difficult if our kin abandoned the father, let me bury him and come,” Jesus said, “Leave the dead to the dead.”
Everyone was born as a dead person at birth. What is salvation?
The point is that, because dead people were born, He means to save them. They do not know resurrection.
Where is the resurrection for the people of the world?
You young people here, do you know resurrection?
They think the root of birth became so, and they were born that way; the point is that they do not know that the root had an accident. Do you know resurrection? Then there is the Seonghwa ceremony.
The rebirth ceremony! In the Unification Church, what does one do when born? From the 8th day to the 103rd day, how complicated it is. There is the rebirth ceremony, and there is the resurrection ceremony. To be resurrected, how complicated it is from engagement to marriage. How appalling a thing is the indemnity-stick ceremony, beating with a club? But it is set so that one cannot help but do it. How complicated is the three-day ceremony?
Having found out the Principle of the Unification Church, the Roman Curia took issue. They said, “If it becomes as this book says, the Roman Curia splits into several. Before it splits, that ringleader must quickly be done away with.” Do you all know that the Roman Curia, Kim Il-sung, the person responsible in Moscow, and the person responsible in Beijing signed on to seizing and killing Chairman Moon? Do you know, or not?
I am not such a great person, so why is there such a fuss over me, one person? Why does America dislike me, and why does the Soviet Union dislike me?
I am just one person, you see. I am living well, so why is it? Pastor Han Gyeong-jik founded Yeongnak Church and opposed the Unification Church, and so brought ruin upon Korea. The three brothers, Yu Hyo-won, Yu Hyo-yeong, and Yu Hyo-min, were there and came out. They were deacons and zealots, and when those three zealots entered the Unification Church, how much they opposed it, trying to do away with the Unification Church!
Yu Hyo-won became the association president, and Yu Hyo-yeong, when the Unification Church was challenged, took photographs and did business. Centering on the skill of photography, taking good photographs, he helped the Unification Church make money. Then Yu Hyo-min was a person who did large fishing-boat work. Doing the fishing boat, he bought a stone mountain. In that household, they all did so, and since they came in to save them, what did I do, supporting them in building a stone house? In America, the only place that built a stone house bringing Korea's stone is the East Garden.
Even when a small bomb explodes, it cannot destroy its base. When designing that, I coached it all. The marble work of the corridor of Incheon Airport was done too , bringing our skill. There is the matter of Italy's marble processing, too, and I made and sold artificial marble, too. Bringing Italy's marble, I even made a factory that corrects and sells it, and it is operating even now.
Chairman Moon is not a person who knows nothing. Even now, I research perpetual power.
After electric power, what is needed?
Hydrogen is needed. Centering on hydrogen, to make that, I spent a lot of money. Centering on that matter, I am Chairman Moon, who stands in a position like a person of consequence at the highest place that the nation cannot do.
When One Bears Sons and Daughters, One Must Have Them Exchange Marriages
When you bear sons and daughters, you must have them exchange marriages. Crossing marriage is done by one couple, and exchange marriage, if it is between the Mun clan and the Han clan, is done by the Mun clan and the Han clan. As I see it, the young people of the Mun clan number 400,000, and the Han clan number 600,000.
If they do exchange marriages, how much is it? If one can do more than a million marriages at once, would there be talents in the Unification Church, or not?
To become a millionaire, how many generations must toil? It would not do with several dozen generations. The point is that even taking fifty generations, a hundred generations, one cannot bless a million people. If one does exchange marriage, in a week, in three days, one can do even a million couples. The 6.5 billion people in humankind are a small number.
In a period taking several tens of millions of years or several million years, one couple was married, and doing it that way, how can Chairman Moon compose the people of the world into a tribe that can be led into the Kingdom of Heaven?
It is impossible. So, unavoidably making good teaching materials out of humankind, making teaching materials by which one can marry a million, ten million, several hundred million at once, grasping content by which one can answer any difficult problem of humanity—if one only makes an educational system, it is possible.
Do the young people of our Unification Church mean to do a crossing marriage or an exchange marriage?
Until now, three generations had never married, but at another time, three generations were married. It goes to the fourth, fifth, seventh, eighth, and fourteenth generations, and when one reaches the fourteenth generation, a tribe is composed. It was said there were twelve tribes, was it not? If one generation is twenty years, how many are twelve generations? 「It is 240 years.」 So, crossing marriage, even taking several hundred million years, one cannot finish the Blessing of humanity. The method — there is no method but this.
Is a cross-marriage needed or an exchange marriage?
How many sons and daughters are there here? Three. Did you marry them all? Yes. Did you do them all at once or separately? Separately. Why did you do them separately? Much money goes in, so it would be good to do them all at once, would it not? If one does exchange marriage, a thousand people do it at the cost of ten and have some to spare.
Is it a simple matter for you to marry sons and daughters at home?
Even selling property, it does not help. But among the members of the Unification Church, even though they did exchange marriage, there are not many who divorce. They cannot divorce. It is set so they cannot. To divorce is to part forever, with no path to marry again in the Unification Church.
So, knowing the Principle and knowing the value of the Principle, one knows how important exchange marriage is. Anyone can do a crossing marriage, but an exchange marriage one cannot.

If there are a thousand people, the families of the thousand people are level. However wide the world is said to be, one comes to enjoy an age of great peace and tranquility, enjoying peace and happiness. This is not mere words; it becomes so.
The grandmothers, grandfathers, and ancestors of the people of the Unification Church, because they believed in the Unification Church, were driven out and did all manner of things, but now, opposing a daughter-in-law or son-in-law has all disappeared. After my autobiography went out, that all disappeared. Now, even if a million gather, with half women and half men, one can do an exchange marriage for 500,000 couples with their eyes closed.
So, before death, one cannot divorce. To divorce after dying is possible, but the person who divorces before dying is the same as dying. It is worse than fallen Adam and Eve. There is no path of seeking the Way for that. What has Chairman Moon done with his sons and daughters until now? I made the family important, and it is difficult if one casts that aside.
If, later, by doing exchange marriage, the Unification Church becomes famous in Korea and becomes famous in the world, the rich, and the noble of the world will compete to take in marriage the unmarried ones among those sons and daughters. It is because they know how precious the bloodline is.
The Lot of the Unification Church
In the old days, our grandfathers, if there was a friend with whom they prepared for the civil examination together, those friends would say, “Among three generations, if we bear sons and daughters, if you have a grandson and I a granddaughter, let us marry the two!” and married them all.
Do you know that, saying they would marry them if they had a grandson and granddaughter, when they bore them, without fail, they sent them in marriage? You cannot know how ideal that was.
Seen centering on aptitude, a soldier's grandson has an aptitude for the army. If the grandfather is a scientist, the grandson too has the aptitude to become a scientist.
So one looks at the household, and if it becomes a partner to one's own household and can be a match and can receive Heaven's blessing, marrying that way is without error. What does one look at? The point is that one marries looking at the bloodline. From such a household, the president of the nation comes forth, and so on. So one can govern and rule the nation.
The loyal subject and the faithful woman come forth through such a household. Nowadays, one meets in the street instantly, looks at dignity centering on a business card, and marries because one likes it, but that is not even a partner. This is marrying looking at the bloodline, looking at the household.
Do you know what college is in Sun Moon University?
There is a Purity College — do you like it? If you have a son, have you thought of marrying him to a student of the Purity College? What becomes of people who, centering on their dream, say they wish for a descendant who can become something and despise the Purity College student?
The Unification Church is becoming famous, and without marrying a Unificationist, one becomes a straggler.
So, is cross-marriage good, or is it an exchange marriage?
Exchange marriage is good.」 For marriage, one must exchange marriage. Is the Hoon Dok Hae all finished? It is not finished, so finish it! That you report from the name of the Lord to your name — how great a development, or a regression, is it? It is a development.

The Korean people are a chosen people in whom the vein of Hongik Ingan, the benefiting of all humanity, throbs, having kept a history of more than five thousand years without invading or plundering another's nation and people. The Korean people, in terms of heart, are ahead of any people. As I see it, there are many even now who hold the thought of not receiving the nation's help but standing on their own. You must know that they differ from ordinary peoples.
Among those people, representatives are chosen from across the nation and come and live, and that lot is the lot of the Unification Church. They are different. Thinking of that, I make important decisions and learn much from and refer to the bloodline of such kin. Hyo-yul! Yes. Speak. The rebirth ceremony, resurrection ceremony, Seonghwa ceremony, the rebirth Blessing, resurrection Blessing, Seonghwa Blessing. That is not harmony (和). It is doing an antic that cannot be.
What is it when one comes to know that? How fearsome is death? I see that all our Unificationists — whether because I have not taught them wrongly, I do not know, or because in the spirit world too much help is given — know the place where they must be and have now crossed the rise where they can all accept that within the realm of common sense.
At the very first, it was difficult to speak. Even So-and-so said, “Why does Father keep talking about that? It would be good not to talk of it,” it was said, but nowadays he says he repents of that. The point is how foolish it was to have said such a word, knowing nothing, not knowing the reality of the spirit world.
Would I have spoken about the reality of the spirit world without confidence?
It is no ordinary matter, in that I mean to leave the Message and go at the moment of making a declaration like a final testament, going the last path that occurs only once.
