The Holy Work That the Ancestors of Korea Can Do

My voice is hoarse, and I cannot speak loudly, so come closer. Move quickly. Even if guests come from outside, you must show that things are in order — what is this?

Even elementary school pupils would not be like this. People worse than buck privates in the army — for what are they of any use? How many of you in total are there?

We have gathered to correct your sorry state

I am a sharp person. There is no nation's president whom I do not associate with as my nephew or my son. Those who nod off, those who will not receive education — cut them all off. From now on, you must be put in order. The nation changes.

The place where you will dwell changes. You will not be in the same position in the spirit world. An elementary school pupil and a middle- or high-school student are different; a middle- or high-school student and one who has finished graduate school as a responsible figure of a nation are different. They are not all the same in a vague lump.

You say “family members,” but among family members there are grandfathers, fathers, and mothers, even the eighth cousins by marriage of in-laws.

Can they all go to the same place?

Those who know not even the hierarchy of the world and who destroy order — they must perish. What sort of people are these here? “The workshop participants are arriving now. These are from the Guri Church, the Headquarters Church, the Foundation, and the affiliated enterprises.”

Then they should be set apart from the workshop participants — what is this? In a feast house, just because they are making rice cakes, would they mix pine-bark cake and glutinous cake?

You must know how to gather like with like and even how to arrange them. Whether it's one person, a hundred, or a thousand, only when they are made uniform does glutinous cake become glutinous cake and jeolpyeon become jeolpyeon.

What is the difference between the True Father of the Unification Church and you?

You take True Father's words lightly. Have you fed me and kept me alive? I am one who hates more than anything to be in another's debt. Though the director of the hospital told me not to leave, I bolted out. Yesterday you sang songs — do you think I had you sing because I wanted to hear songs? Knowing that certain elders have come, you must discern whether it is a cloudy day or a clear day. Does one sing spring songs in autumn? It does not fit. Come to your senses.

Are you True Father's sons and daughters?

I see you here for the first time. When True Father's birthday comes, what then? Even if, to bow before him, you prepared more than the preparation you make for your birthdays — not over one year but over ten — and more than the preparation you make for your wedding, what then? Even then, True Father cannot be approached.

In terms of Heaven's dignity, I have not come here to meet people like you. Is the Returning Lord worth so little? When you came in here, what was it? Even I rose at dawn and offered devotion before coming. Coming here, with not a single one waiting and people suddenly rushing out to receive me — I am not a person who is pleased by that. Knowing all this, I have endured until now, but presently I must vent my grievance.

Do not come here to boast of yourselves. You boast to me, but I have heard everything you could boast of. In every nation of the world, there is no place without Unification Church family members, and when I go, they are more outstanding than you. People who, because they live in Korea, talk with a broken-trumpet sound and walk about, throwing their shoulders back and wagging their hips, saying they have done well — I cannot bear to see them.

Just try not to educate your sons and daughters. I will gather people from around the world and do it. In forty-three nations, I have published Unification Church publications, beginning with True Father's collected sermons. Those who say they do not need it—discard them all. Those who have gotten by just living any way they could cannot come here and live with True Father. I am speaking plainly. I will make people whom I want; I will not become a Reverend Moon as you want. I am not such a person.

If True Father goes to the place of laborers, he is the foremost laborer; if he goes to the world of scholars, he is the foremost theorist. We have gathered to correct your sorry state — what have you gathered here for in this busy time? It is a time when I should rest. I had meant to rest, but because if I leave things alone, they will not be in order, I came at the crack of dawn.

Did I sleep even an hour and a half last night?

The night before that, I did not sleep a wink. While doing so, do you think True Father has been going around enjoying himself?

If you are elementary school pupils, you must be faithful to your daily lessons as elementary school pupils. From now on, you must take examinations. I do not appoint just anyone as a Unification Church responsible figure. There are many such people.

Even just among the pastors, thousands are waiting in America. I can call tens of thousands of pastors from around the world and absorb and sell off Korea. I want to gather you and put up your face and dignity before those people, but this will not do.

One who would pave the way for the descendants

I do not know what you have lived on, but I have suffered more than you.

Having come to the world that is a human exposition, am I not a representative who has suffered?

Investigate True Father's words. Hwang Sun-jo, come forward and tell us a bit about what you have been doing. You go up; I will sit down. He who would be high must begin from the low.

Among the 6.5 billion people of humanity, there are truly many who love True Father. I would say more than one-fifth. That is what I think, and I am trying to educate centered on that standard — and what is the situation?

It is utterly absurd. To try to measure with a measuring stick, no measuring stick can measure a high mountain. To what shall I match my teaching? I have laid out a program by which you can do the workshop, and did you think that you could just say to True Father, “I will do it this way,” however you please, and that he would go along with that?

Who made this program?

After True Father went into the hospital and came out, have you thought about how True Father's health is?

Yesterday, you sang to set the welcoming mood. Because I have studied science, I am one who is building a hospital. No machine is there. Everything that is in other hospitals is in place. Moreover, we treat and heal with spiritual treatment.

I have even made an electric machine and taught doctors who heal illnesses. I am not using your education as merchant's capital — not one bit. To it I add all the strength I have, and I think only of paving the path your descendants must walk. (Hwang Sun-jo gives a report.)

However large a cartwheel may be, the life of that cartwheel does not lie in its outer form. It hangs upon the axle, the central pole (simbo). For the central pole to turn, there must be a bearing.

The point is, why must such a large thing turn?

It must be made to look as though it is standing still. From a standstill comes a new departure. History develops through the process of standstill. Things must be put in order.

Who puts the history of humanity in order?

There is no one but me who knows the method. They do not know in the least how God exists, how the heavenly kingdom is constituted, or what relationship the people of Heaven will form with the earth from now on. To teach this, there is a program — but how is a program many tens of thousands of times larger to be aligned within a short period? It cannot be aligned.

Therefore, with a strong system of leadership, centered on the matter of authority over life and death, a process of question and answer must be undergone. When you consider that the life or death of history is far greater — a han (한) of several tens of millions of generations of history — than the life or death of a single generation of yours, then within that domain, one cannot bring himself forward and do this and that as he pleases. There is a responsibility to fill this in by the measure of one's possession, by the standard of personal character in which each of you is placed. He who forgets that fact, whether he exists or not, is all the same.

The one who can attend the one and only Lord leads the human world

You must become a help to the growth of the Unification Church.

If a lump appears, why did it appear?

It appeared because it was needed.

If that lump is absolutely needed, then centered on that lump, everything else must be cut away. Do you know what kind of bud will sprout from that lump? How shall there be new development, a new history of the universe? It does not come forth from the simple content you know. It is a thing of countless complexity.

What is it for True Father throughout his entire life?

Even now, there is persecution. From the CIA (the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency) to the KGB itself (the State Security Committee of the former Soviet Union), I am at issue. I educated 7,000 leaders of the Soviet Union. I brought 3,500 of them to America and educated them, and then I had promised to bring 3,500 more — but those who had been educated asked that they be entrusted to them.

What were they trying to do?

Even if a person has only limited knowledge, the knowledge held by a Soviet is the highest position in the Soviet Union — and if what could be added to that position were as large as this, what then?

Even if it were only one-tenth, it would become the origin from which the Unification Church could develop. Even one one-hundredth would do. Our Unification Church has no intelligence agents. This time, to create the world's foremost intelligence agents, I departed from Las Vegas.

So change, together with putting things in order, must clarify the content of a new dream.

If only one becomes himself such that he cannot be parted from that, what then? Even if one does not know what kind of food it is, if it tastes good, eating it well and being healthy will do.

If there is a pit in the environment, fill it with stones or with whatever you have, and so make level ground — pass for thousands and tens of thousands of years over it. If it becomes better than any other land, then God will come seeking such a place.

Do you know the Unification Church?

You do not know a thing. You are blind in the eyes. Do not shake your heads. From now on, even if a president comes here, he must be seated in the general seats and not elsewhere. I will supervise. Those people who think themselves great say, “Wherever I go in the world, it is thus and thus. There is nothing I do not know. In establishing historical traditions in politics or economics, in no nation am I left out. True Father is nothing compared to me.” But then let them try asking. I can answer any amount, but when I have asked some three questions, they get caught and say, “Aigo, I do not know.”

Do you know God?

He is the one and only Lord. Ah, the one who could attend the one and only Lord — even were there thousands and tens of thousands among the great cosmos — that one would become the leader of the human world, but they do not know such a God. What sort of person is that? Does the president of a nation always rule? If the presidents as a whole — if all one thousand of them — have failed to add anything to the process of change in historical development, they must be denounced.

I will now become the captain of demonstrations. I have lived that way since my student days. Wherever it was, because I was a champion in raising the issues of goodwill, when I went to America, America stood against me — “Will you win, or will I win?” — and America lost to me. The Soviet Union was too lost to me; China was too lost to me; North Korea was too lost to me.

The time has come for me to reveal

From now on, the time has come for me to reveal.

Until now, even if I revealed it, there was no one who could understand. There was no material. For that reason, things such as Cheon Seong Gyeong and World Scripture are all words people do not know. They are not in the encyclopedia either. Seventy percent of what is here are words not in the encyclopedia. Therefore, they have become books that are an issue in the press and in the world of thought. Even when seminary graduate schools study and ask me, I do not answer.

I have not gone to seek the president of this country and meet them. Foreign presidents come and line up to meet me. There was a president who waited twenty-four years to meet me, but I did not meet him. While doing so, he died recently.

Of what help is that? Why did I not meet him?

The taproot is different. One cannot graft a juniper and a poplar. The seeds are different.

You are the seed of the Satanic world, but True Father is called the son of God — who is to make that comparison? This universe compares it. When I am in a place, what happens?

If I just settle in for three years, the grain will grow well on that land. At first, they oppose, but after the opposition passes, they say, “Since True Father came, blessings have followed.”

I came here where you are at dawn. Yesterday I pulled out the IV needle I had had in for thirteen hours, and without sleeping even one hour, I came here. Why? The doctors examined me, but I am not one to trust doctors.

For ninety years, I have been one who disliked hospitals, but though I disliked hospitals, I have made a hospital that does not exist in the world. I have made medical equipment that does not exist in the world. I made what is called HappyHealth, and no one knows it.

If three Nobel Prize winners came and held a conference, I would give them the answer. I live that way.

Go look at the British Association of Nobel Laureates. Of the twenty-some members of that association, seventeen came to my event. Because, having received the order of the government, the one who is its chairman came to meet me, what did I do?

In holding my event, did they put in a single penny? Why come and go, telling me to do this or that?

If the president needs me, let him come here and ask. If there is one in charge of intelligence, let him come here and seize me.

If they were to devour me, I would make water go in through the anus and come out again. I am such a person. If I take revenge, Heaven settles the whole matter.

These people know that. So they are afraid. They like me, but they are afraid. I am not a frightening person. I am a commoner. Even now, sitting like this, if you said, Let us wrestle, I would wrestle. I was a ssireum wrestler.

If you said, Let us play soccer, I would play soccer. I was a soccer player. There was no sport I could not do. Whatever it is, I say let us try.

If the universe has grown by force, then the origin by which one can grow centered on force must not be cut off. Where is eternal force? Where is eternal thought? Since there is none, and I introduce eternal thought, this book exists.

What is Cheon Seong Gyeong?

This is no easy thing. It took thirty years to make it. World Scripture took fifty years. Here are the essentials by which the whole system centered on the world's renowned academic doctors and thinkers can be criticized.

What is Pyeong Hwa Gyeong?

It is the scripture of God by which peace is realized. Where is such a title to be found? If I told you to interpret it, even in a thousand years, you could not.

The person whose will is scattered, who has magnetism — he is drawn by the great magnet. No explanation is needed. The mind knows the mind. I dislike it; I do not like it, but the mind likes it. One cannot depart from the words.

The Rally for the Settlement of the True Peace World and the World of the True Parents' UN — all this has gone by. It began with the start of Cheon Il Guk and has long since passed, yet I still hold it and go about. Even if I were to explain, what you would not know is a whole world's worth. From the first page, you do not know.

What is here?

The first of the four major figures of the mainstream of Western thought is Descartes. He said, “I think, therefore I am” — but if one does not think, is one not? Are there no parents, no nation?

What was his privilege?

Show forth the seed that can do this. This is the content of what was called and reported when one went to the spirit world. To hear this content is the most miserable thing possible. But in the spirit world, the man called True Father is not miserable.

I have made this teaching material. The earlier teaching materials were for God's providence of salvation after the Fall, but they did not know the world before that.

Only when one knows the root does he know how the trunk is; only when he knows the trunk does he know the branches; only when he knows the branches does he know the leaves; only when he knows the leaves does he know the flowers; only when he knows the flowers does he know the fruit.

One must be able to show all of it; one cannot simply leave it covered. I am not such a person.

Even when I try to teach beyond what is there, there is no one to speak to. Throughout my whole life, I have sought and not found.

The harvest of God's fruit must be gathered

This place is Sutaek-ri—what kind of place is Sutaek-ri?

It is a place where water is gathered, but what kind of water? Sewage water or fresh spring water?

What is the training center at Sutaek-ri for?

Is it a place for filtering sewage or a place that makes clean water into sewage? It says, Be one of the two. Yes or no? In “yes,” there is no X. It is an O. Try saying, “O, X!” “O, X!” Into the O, the X can be welcomed any number of times. The whole history of countless ages can be welcomed, but into the X, not even a tiny O is welcomed.

So, in the communist party, they say, become the deepest red among the reds.

Therefore, even between father and son, when crossing the threshold, the two cannot cross side by side. The son says, “Even though you are my father, stand behind me.” In the communist world, it is not made so that two can enter. That is a knack by which Satan can defend himself. Ah, how shrewd.

If one believes in Jesus, one treads upon a sea of blood, treads upon the unconscious body lying dead and stiff, and having entirely overcome the struggle in which the body fought to live, one goes in reverse.

If, through the sea of blood and through the unconscious state, having been ruined by the nose, ruined by the eye, and ruined by greed, one has passed through all of it and has gone without being caught, then one is connected to God, the Root of the universe. That is sound theory. Then it must be clear what the procedural stages are by which this can be done. You will be hearing such words for the first time.

I am a frank person. I have been to prison more times than anyone. Among those who interrogated me, there are many who respect the True Father of the Unification Church.

Since they could not write well, I taught them. Even if it made them angry, I told them to reveal what was right. For that reason, the interrogators had a hard time investigating True Father. “If you would evaluate, then evaluate! I will reply to it — but can you handle what comes after that? I will ask one thing, so answer.” Before I had asked three times, they had to raise their hands. I am such a person.

I did not affix the name True Parents to myself. I did not teach that I was the Messiah, the substitute of Jesus. By the fruit, one can know.

Is it fruit that birds like or fruit that ants like?

There are many kinds of fruit. Among people, among religious people, among the sons and daughters of God, only the fruit that can be most liked is what God needs. The theory is simple.

What is True Father trying to do? He must harvest the fruit of God. Since there is only one fruit, I cannot die. Even past the age of one hundred, I must teach and leave behind a single fruit and plant it, and through the first, second, and third generations, on through not only the fourth generation but the seventh. Otherwise, the formation of a people cannot take place — I know this.

For these people, I have waited seventy years. Now I cannot endure. If you will not receive education, I will seize you, lock you up, and ask, “Will you not receive education?”

If you receive a week, a fortnight, or three weeks of education, having surrendered that you will receive it until death, what then?

After receiving such education, would you take revenge? You will say, “Thank you, the sons and daughters of True Father, for teaching one such as me.” I have lived that way.

The period of special-instructor education

From now on, let the people here give testimony to two persons each day. What is the education we will be doing every day? It is an education to become special instructors who can lead Hoon Dok Hae. It is such a training period.

Even going to the highest levels of any nation, you must have an attitude such that, just like the doctoral holders here, you can press through with confidence and overcome. It is to cultivate the ability to do this. Such people are needed.

The program for this I roughly spoke of this morning as I came out here. It would be good to speak about the content at this hour today, but it would eat up Hoon Dok Hae time, and for me to become the representative who slights Hoon Dok Hae time would obstruct the education, so I leave it. Now then, let the reader proceed with Hoon Dok Hae. From now on, we conduct education in reverse.

Having come to know how the summit and the entire foundation of this world stand, in systematic and organized content, you must do training by which you can surpass the system of government, the system of the communist world, and the system of America — what must each of you become?

If the entire citizenry is armed in such a way, there will be no fighting under Heaven. No one can fight and win against the Unification Church.

America, too, is now hoping that True Father will come, but because I have fulfilled my responsibility, I do not go. You must go and carry out the subsequent disposition, becoming True Father's substitutes, and say, “Young people, let us raise the flag and go forth — let us depart again!” Because this is needed, we do such education once more.

Even if it is partially uncomfortable, do not complain. If among your close kin — among your brothers or in your uncle's line — there are sharp people, without fail bring them and have them attend this education for the sake of your descendants and your kin. Then, when we plant the new seed of the Unification Church on the world stage of the future and harvest the fruit, if we can harvest the fruit within about fifty years, I see that the world will become a world of peace, and so we begin this work anew.

Now then, begin Hoon Dok Hae. (Hoon Dok Hae begins, the Cheon Seong Gyeong, “True Parents” Chapter 1, Section 1: “Among the words we Unification Church members commonly use is the word 'True Parents.' That word is simple, but its content is truly astonishing. It is in no book in all of history. The words 'True Parents' are the simplest of words, but they are words that we alone have, words that we alone use….”)

When you hear me speak, I am a fearsome person, am I not? When I am called a fearsome person, God smiles. I can become your friend, and I am trained to be so anywhere. I become a friend of grandfathers and grandmothers, and a friend of scholars too. When they meet me, they say they will entertain me at home, but I dislike being entertained. Do not say that you respect True Father.

Be young people, I say. Have the spirit of a young person. Such things do not suit the spirit of a young person. I, too, like that, so I am like this. There may have been some who felt put out this morning. They might have said, “Why is that one talking in such a slanted way?” — but the more one looks into it, the more frightening it gets.

Do not evaluate. I have received all the evaluations there are to receive. Among the 6.5 billion of the world, no one does not know me. From now on, this book will enter every family in the world.

When they take hold of it, they study harder than True Father. I worked hard to develop it, but having come to know it, all the affairs of the world can be held in my hand. If I made use of it, there would be nothing to envy — so why must I play this game with you?

I have laid the foundation by which, wherever I go, I can say, “Is so-and-so there? Come out!” I have created an environment such that even with rest left over, I could enjoy it—so why must I come and do this again?

Because you have not come to anything, it would be good to discard and go, but I cannot even discard. I can also discard well. Yet for the pitiful people of Korea, where shall they go? Where will you go now?

You stand now at the crossroads of life and death. If you misstep by a single step, you will fall off an unimaginable cliff, and an inconceivable deluge will sweep you away. Can you withstand that? Looking at your faces, you may think you are something, but because you look pitiful in my eyes, I am telling you these things.

The holy work that the ancestors of Korea can do

I am not long for going. The spirit world, too, knows that such a person is alive. Centered on the three years now, how many days have passed?

Within three years, everything ends. Whether at that time a club, or a hammer, or a cannon, or an atomic bomb will be needed — I do not know. That depends on your resolve. If Heaven needs such a weapon, such an instrument, He will use such a person — but how many such people are there in the world?

The world is wide. Even taking the Soviet Union alone, how vast is it?

How many such places are there?

It is not only Korea. Looking about, in a world where there is no place to be trusted, in such a world, I am preparing the ground where I can sow the seed that can be trusted. Is that not the holy work that the ancestors of Korea can do?

However, I think about it, there is nothing else, and so I am making it so that you can live in such a position.

I am not one who came to Korea and ended in failure. As one who has succeeded, I am entrusting it before God. When I greet Him with, “God, while trying to fulfill my responsibility before You, whom I attend as the one and only Master, there have been many trials, many circumstances, many things over which to lament.

But because I have known the Father who has endured tens or hundreds of times more, I have fulfilled my responsibility, and at Your call I have come.” God will embrace me by the neck and weep aloud. That hour is fearful. Such an hour cannot be avoided.

I do not like a path by which, when that time comes, the Korean people and humanity all gather and proclaim that the Master of our hope has come, and I meet them only with tears. I ask that you, too, endure every hardship and cross over so that this does not become the case. Do well at the time of Hoon Dok Hae. The cord of blessing hangs there. Without fail.

You are not the offspring of Satan, but people who have come into the bosom of God to become His grandchildren, to become His sons and daughters, and further still, to become His heirs and substitutes. No one in all the world passes on inheritance to one less than himself or sets up one less than himself as his substitute. Were True Father, having come this far, to depart without setting up a substitute and an heir, it would make no sense — so understand that I am speaking these no-ordinary words.

Only if you face it with such a heart will there later be times when, having reviled, the reverse — praise — can also come. The result of being able to do that is that even if I were not here, when you do Hoon Dok Hae, if only you become one who cannot live without setting yourself within it, you can become my substitute and my heir. That is all prepared. Nothing is lacking.

One must take up the center and form the relationship oneself

Wherever that reader goes, he steps forward — and what does he do with all the people?

Were he to go to the heavenly world, he could make the heavenly world weep instantly and also rejoice. He knows the saddest of God's circumstances, and at hearing a single word, tears flow. Knowing that such things are the traditional joints in the world of essence (정), I ask that you participate diligently at the time of Hoon Dok Hae.

Now, continue. (Hoon Dok Hae continues: “So, even one who hates me, let us love. If I love one who hates me, that person, too, will come to love me.

If I treat well, more than three times, one who hates me, he will bow his head. If you do well to him just three times, he will bow his head. Try it once and see whether this is so. People have a conscience, and so they know whether they have done wrong or done right….”)

1971 was forty years ago. Forty years ago, was I not younger than you are now? When you think of that, are you any less than True Father?

You can make that resolve. True Father did not know the path he had to go, yet you can see the path clearly — so why can you not do it? Because our father could not do it, I must do it; because our grandfather could not do it, I must do it.

When I go to the spirit world and educate my father, exhorting him, “Why could you not do it?” — and so use him as a pillar in expanding the world of my command, and use him as any kind of material — then the ancestors, not displeased, will offer praise as the fruit of the ancestors, and say they love me all the more. If that can be so, how good a thing is it? (Hoon Dok Hae continues.)

All these books must be on hand. During the workshop, everything must be prepared. Do you think of borrowing from another? That cannot be done. Only when one takes up the center and forms the relationship oneself does the inyeon (affinity) also remain. Because the beginning is connected with the end, this is unavoidable. (Hoon Dok Hae concludes.)

Is the time after 8 o'clock a separate time? How have the times been set?

Hoon Dok Hae until 8 o'clock — two or three hours will be enough. Two people will give testimony each time, and we will do it centered on that time. So you must, without fail, remember every day the content of the words needed and the content of Hoon Dok Hae.

How many workshop participants are there in total? “They are still arriving.” If they are still arriving, how many have come so far? “Those who have come, raise your hands.” How shall I count now? Then, one man and one woman each — what is it? From now on, for over four years, there is a lot of time.

Three times four is twelve (3×4=12), so it will be close to 1,300 days — and during that period, whoever enters must give his testimony.

Why must testimony be given? You must write your autobiographies from now on. You did not know that, did you?

What did you do here?

And thereafter, when you go out and meet certain people, you must, without fail, fulfill your responsibility.

You must make those related individuals into seeds that can be left behind. That is material for the autobiography you will leave behind in the future.

Even when harvesting grain and threshing it, if you do it ten times, you have ten times — but if you do it as though you have not done it even once, that is a thief. Such a one is an outcast among men. Will you do it, or will you not? “We will.”

For that reason, from now on, when we do Hoon Dok Hae daily, you must treat the Hoon Dok Hae time as important. Among the family members of the Unification Church, anyone who does not own this book has failed.

Currently, how many people own this book?

Because it is not held, it is precious. The price was set at cost, but adding many times over — if you say, “I will leave it before our brothers as the material by which to raise the sons and daughters of God in the age of history, paying ten times the price for a book worth ten times” — that is the wealth of an autobiography.

If you have resolved in your heart, proportionally, the grace received, to spend a hundred times or a thousand times or even ten thousand times the listed price of this book, that is astonishing.

If, with a record centered on ten thousand years, you have prepared upon this earth the material that can be consulted even in the spirit world, that is an astonishing person.

Such a person cannot help but be a rich man. You will give testimony without fail — but in testimony, do not take as your reference the passing words of others.

Without fail, testimony must bear witness as to how one has lived. The point is that you must give testimony. If there are a thousand people, how many rounds must it take? When there are no more, it comes around again.

If the 250 people are finished, it comes back to the first two persons each time, a man and a woman. Before that man and that woman, do not say to yourselves, “I shall give a testimony that will not lose and can be a model” — do not think this way, but just do it.

The audience is the second-stage object partner. The first-stage object partner is the man and the woman, and standing in the position of one-to-one, leaving a record by which you can speak and compare in that content without losing, in a position whose level Heaven recognizes, and preparing from now on so that this can be left as an autobiography.

Wealth is absolutely necessary for success

True Father has produced an autobiography, but that is not even one one-hundredth of what True Father has spoken. The word “religion” was not used at all. It entered from external matters.

It went in from the outside. Since Satan made everything in reverse, when one settles the result, one goes to the source — so what then? What originally takes a thousand years can be shortened to 500 years, 50 years, 5 years, or 5 months.

Knowing such things, I must leave a record at least once. When the descendants see it, they will say, “Within the period of this whole book, in such-and-such a period our ancestors left this record!” Going to the spirit world, it becomes wealth. So, the point is that you must leave an autobiography.

Without doing so, can you deceive your mind and body? It does not pass. It is without fail re-examined.

Then, when it is examined, what was taught here, what True Father taught, in error?

Because of disbelief in the entrusted course of action, in the process of one's portion of responsibility, what becomes of it? If the wrongdoing arose because one did not match his actions to it, then that wrongdoing is his own to bear; True Father has no part in it.

Even though what your eye sees and what True Father's eye sees may be called the same when looking at the same world, the feelings and the angle by which the eye is seeing are different. If there are ten million persons, there are ten million differences. In the world of essence (정), there can be a billion differences. It is infinite. Therefore, it is the world of infinity.

So shall I, having now gone and finished, end today?

Or shall I end tomorrow? From March, I have many things to plan, centered on a new program. So, since you generally know what is to be done in the course of your study, continue that, and I must do my own work.

Now that the traditional standard is clearly known, now that the path to walk is known, it is enough if even one of the two — those who can know and those who can make others know — fulfills the entrusted course.

Since I have spoken of taking part in that work, shall I come once more tomorrow? Or shall I not come? “Come once more, please.” It would be good if you came every day, wouldn't it?

If I come every day and you have not met the people you are supposed to meet, I will go and meet them. I go through the back door. Without meeting at the front, I go to the back door and ask, “So-and-so came — did you meet him?” Then he will say, “Ah, I met him.”

After meeting that person, did he think True Father was bad or think he was good? “If he thought you were good, then since he thought you were good, would you like to hear True Father's words once?” — That is what is said.

So if you do business and supply what is needed, and then, thereafter, if True Father, the Unification Church, or Heaven does the work of forming a foundation, that becomes the wealth absolutely necessary for success. The leaders who do such work — whether they are good or bad — are your elder brothers and are like the fingers of one hand connected by the same bloodline.

The fingers are all different. But all are connected. Tens of millions of cells all resemble oneself. This stands as a settled fact. When we think of this one cell that branches out, if it vanishes, it brings just that much loss to oneself and reduces the seed that must remain in Heaven. That is a fearful thing.

Only when you know all of this can you leave fruit that is honest and upright before Heaven and before posterity — and that is why I urge you.

I do not know when I will drop in again. While you are sleeping at night, I may come at 1 a.m. and convene an emergency meeting. Hwajae (a topic of discussion)! Not hwajae (fire), but a topic of speech. The jae (題) of hwajae (話題), said this way, is good.

What is “Jotji”? “Jotji” — to refine what is good and make it better. If one can govern what is good, it cannot turn out badly. As for interpretation, how rich are the phrases and words of your interpretation?

Once you have studied English and Japanese, whenever needed, you can speak the corresponding phrase that has a symbolic subject-form in the language you know, and make it the subject that cannot be forgotten, to remember.

On the foundation of having made the inyeon of subject and object one, you can remember. Even after ten thousand years, the words of truth — once heard, how are they? Looking even at the visions of dreams, for a thousand years they all hold.

Do not pass your life in vain

I have spoken simply of what True Father needs, but there is nothing in True Father's words that is not necessary and apt. I have lived so, and centered on such a publicly attested world, having gone today.

If I have done wrong, I will correct what was wrong. Knowing this, even if it is hard, I ask that you receive the workshop well.

Even if I were to die, if the words ring out here, such a person will appear and such a spirit world will cooperate. I do not die. When I was writing this and declaring it, the spirit world watched, saying, “Is there a difference from True Father's mind?”

You must be soaked in this and become mad. The conclusion is simple. Soaked in it, what then? Soaked in it — what must one do? “Become mad!” Soaked in it, there is resurrection.

I do not speak English well, but I know how to pronounce things clearly. Mother also teaches and does so. You must study many languages. At the very least, you must speak five languages. I, too, thought of that and studied Spanish—I did it in prison — but having put it aside for two years or so, I forgot it all. The merit one has built up does not vanish.

Here, shall I make each class ten people, or twelve, or thirteen?

If a small child becomes the class leader, the traditional thought of loving and attending even the leader of a country, more than one's grandfather, as if attending God, is necessary. The Unification Church lacks this. So, having made class leaders, make it so that one can absolutely attend the responsible figure centered on them.

If you do not cultivate the thought of knowing how to attend to the responsible figure, the household disappears.

For the household, is it suitable for the dominion of land to be wide or to be narrow? “It is good to be wide.” It must be wide. For that reason, wherever True Father goes, he does not go forward. He goes to the very youngest position, and in the position of a baby, as one who knows nothing, he listens to the words. “The gist is such-and-such. The things I have experienced, the things I need, are these few.” Then, having brought it back to mind, he forms a relationship with me.

Then that person, too, when he goes to that other world, will think that the fruit of the seed True Father has left behind, his bloodline, too, does not die but remains. Do not pass in vain this life of mine that is harvesting the seed of an eternal bloodline.

So, the content I can urge in importance is threefold. Respect the class leader; do not forget the testimony! As to setting a date by which all the people here can be moved — even if you do not know that date, read it ten times, read it a hundred times.

Since you do not know when you will be called upon, to be ready at that time, without hesitation, read even a hundred times, and I must convey words that can reach the heart, a position nearer than anyone. You must not give testimony with lies.

If you do these three things, I guarantee that you will become, without fail, the heirs of the sons and daughters of God of whom True Father speaks. I, who guarantee, will also applaud — but those of you who would receive the guarantee, applaud also. I applaud the earth like this, but you applaud Heaven. (Applause.)

Tomorrow morning, I will come without fail, but thereafter, True Father is free. If there are people who are needed, I will come. True Father knows it. “Today, if I do not go, it will not do!” — Because such a thing is possible, you do not know where I will appear. Knowing that for True Father to come often can also be an obstruction, prepare well and keep watch, I would ask.

Is True Father's face old or young? “It is young.” My heart is younger than anyone's. The world of our heart, the inner world, is what is precious; the face is not the issue; the words and actions of a person are the issue.

The issue is what kind of fruit the fruit is—knowing so and living so, without fail, I will stand surety for you.
