The World as the Expansion of One Family

Cheon Jeong Gung, Gapyeong, Gyeonggi, Korea

Read the next portion. The Hoon Dok of the address titled “Let Us Become Those Who Possess the Heart of Jesus Christ” from The Collected Speeches of Reverend Sun Myung Moon, Volume 3, begins……Jesus, placed in such a circumstance, forgetting completely that his enemies were nailing him to the cross, recalling the history of the past, was anxious for the Heart (심정) of God; concerned for the descendants of future generations, forgetting the tearing of his flesh and blood, bearing in their stead the historic sorrowful heart of Heaven, bearing in their stead the historical resentment of God and the responsibility for historic salvation, he appealed, “O Heaven, grant indemnity (탕감)!”

We must become those who know how to think upon the heart (심정) of Jesus Christ and upon the heart (심장) of Jesus Christ that was ceasing to beat.)

If We Do Not Become One, We Disappear

Upon the path of cosmic righteousness that the universe must walk, who could console the heart (심정) of Jesus, who beheld the surroundings where Satan had built fortress walls as strong as iron and was shooting arrows from every direction? It was the bride, a woman, who had to console him.

Reverend Moon of the Unification Church, who must complete that purpose, is in a circumstance that allows him more than enough to grasp that realm. (Hoon Dok continues.)

What does the teacher wish to say in a word?

It is that there is no place where Christianity, the present governments, those living in this world, and the spirits already in the spirit world may abide.

So they must come seeking the Unification Church, but until now, that path has been entirely blocked.

How can that path be opened?

Standing in the place of God's body and mind, one must be born with the ideal of the only begotten son, complete that ideal, marry, and stand upon a foundation that can cross over the fiftieth-year jubilee.

From now on, within a period of less than three years, we must liquidate everything. Whether Christianity, the governments, the Roman Catholic Church, or the United Nations government, all must be liquidated, and the Unification Church itself must also disappear. It must disappear; we cannot live here. Here, the teacher was persecuted; here, until now, every conceivable thing has befallen me.

This is the notebook of conditions summing up the total of the teacher's life, and inscribed in it is “October 3, 2001.” This is what we cross over. After the teacher had gone to Las Vegas through the twentieth course and returned, he set aside this notebook and wrote in it, “Greeting the Tenth Year of Cheon Il Guk, Special Matters.” It is “The Era of Unifying the Solar and Lunar Calendars.”

The communist world is on the left side. The left wing seeks to melt down Christianity; the left wing seeks to swallow Christianity. “Centering on the left hand, we shall reckon by distinguishing the vertical and horizontal”—that is the heading. We shall reckon by distinguishing the vertical and the horizontal.

The horizontal world is a world where you can live, but this world cannot pass beyond the number nine. If you die here, by seven-times-seven (7 × 7 = 49), you cannot cross over the fiftieth hill. It is a simple matter.

It is written, “The Era of Unifying the Solar and Lunar Calendars; centering on the left hand, we shall reckon by distinguishing vertical and horizontal.” This horizontal world has no path of return.

So when the left hand of communism comes up to this point, where does it go? After five, one must cross the hills of the number six and the number seven, going from five to six, seven, eight, nine, and ten—only thus does one meet the number ten on the right side.

Who is the subject at the center of this left hand?

No matter how Satan has occupied the world with his bloodline and stood in the place of the king, what of it?

The left hand did not come into being for its own sake. It is for the sake of the right hand. What women hope for cannot exist in the horizontal world. So it must disappear. The left hand must disappear, I say.

Speaking of ideologies, these days, there is the extreme right and the extreme left. What will the extreme right and the extreme left do?

Do you suppose the extreme right will remain as the extreme right and the extreme left as the extreme left?

If they do not become one, they disappear. Yet centering on the lunar calendar, in the unfolding of the sexagenary cycle (육갑풀이), what is evil disappears even when made one. That is the overall conclusion.

The Korean People Are a People Who Attend God

What, then, is Satan? Satan is an archangel, and the world of the archangel has no spouse. No spouse was created for him. Why so? The center of earth and heaven, centering on Adam, ascends above the archangel and rises, gazing upon the two-digit and three-digit numbers.

Although the archangel and God cooperated to seek to establish the family of Adam upon the position of horizontality, eternally, there is no vertical standard.

Hence, even when made the partner of an evil position, it disappears; and now, in a world advancing, centering on the ideal of goodness and hoping for peace, even one raising the banner of a unified world will disappear. God cannot come to that place and play the role of master. Why? Because the bloodline has been altered.

The woman played at her pleasure and joined two bloodlines. Centering on Adam's bloodline, she should have stood on God's side, but uniting with the servant, she overturned the positions of God and Adam. That is what the Fall is.

They are all human beings who must disappear. Even though all of you have united with Reverend Moon at Cheon Jeong Gung to set right what has been overturned, you must be torn apart and remade.

All of you have inherited Satan's bloodline. Therefore, you must disappear. Governments must disappear; nations must disappear. Why? Because everything has been overturned and inverted, centering on the archangel's bloodline. Is there spirit (영) in the human heart?

Which is first—the soul (혼) or the conscience?

What is the relationship between conscience and original mind, between soul and spirit? What has become of the soul?

The soul was so afflicted that it was shattered. The soul has been shattered, I say. Therefore, the spirit too has disappeared.

“Cheonjibumo Cheonju Anshikgwon” (천지부모천주안식권; the Realm of the Sabbath of the Heavenly Parent of Heaven, Earth, and Cosmos) is an emblematic inscription of the reality of cosmic existence. Heaven and earth and parents have no connection.

What relation does cheonju (cosmos), the house of Heaven, have with the realm of Sabbath?

The bloodline must be connected. When heaven and earth and parent are linked by bloodline, and cheonju and the realm of Sabbath are linked by bloodline, the result of the Fall disappears.

Among the fallen bloodlines of Satan's world, no matter how thoroughly two become one, God spits upon it. In conclusion, one must cross the fiftieth hill. That is seven-times-seven (7 × 7 = 49). The number seven is the hill.

How is that resolved?

It is resolved in the interpretation of the sexagenary cycle (yukgap-puri). I have shown it; I have taught all of it. So it is not enough merely to learn and to know what Reverend Moon speaks—you must practice it. Whether you live or die, you must affirm that it is so.

There is something called Hunminjeongeum (훈민정음), and the nation that educates its people with the right words shall not perish. I knew this from the time I was born.

Who is the master of Korea?

The Korean people are a people who attend God. The God who is the Master of becoming one has reared the Korean people. The representative whom God has reared is Reverend Moon. Reverend Moon must become the foothold of God's house, body, love, and ideal.

God shall be the Master of this nation. When a woman conceives a child, she practices prenatal education—what is to be taught? Because God is the center of the universe and the Master of every house and every valley, unless even the spirits are made to acknowledge God's place, the world shall forever be Satan's world and perish. That God created a nation, and that nation is a nation of much han (한), a nation of which there is only one—Korea.

The Roots Are Different

Among our grandfathers, a rumor spread that I was very clever. When I was eight, those going to sit the civil examinations or those who had passed and gone forth to serve the country came and bowed to me. Why so? There was a thing called jangji (long paper). It was a large paper of three widths. Upon this jangji of three widths, one had to write on this side, then across to the other side. Calligraphy was written on its surface.

The writing I had been doing since age five became famous. From that time, I wrote elegantly. So in the village, anyone going to take the examination or become a provincial governor, county magistrate, or village head and wanted to learn calligraphy had to come and find me. To that extent, the teacher wrote elegantly.

The slogan I wrote this time, “Cham Sarang Cheonju Anshikgwon Cheongshim Ilman Seung Ilmansei” (참사랑천주안식권 청심일만승일만세)—writing characters that large, I wrote without measuring, and they came out perfectly fitted. To that degree, my visual sense is acute.

It is said that Reverend Moon, too, was born through a fallen bloodline, but it is not so. God carried me in His embrace and reared me. Because Reverend Moon did not inherit the fallen bloodline, I knew everything from birth. There is saeng-i-ji-ji (생이지지; knowing by birth) and hak-i-ji-ji (학이지지; knowing by learning), and there is cheon-i-ji-ji (천이지지; knowing through Heaven). The term cheon-i-ji-ji, too, was coined by me. The term “True Parents” too is a term coined by me.

Among the terms used in the Unification Church, more than seventy percent are not in the encyclopedias. Centering on copyright, hereafter those who use them carelessly will not be able to make recompense even by selling their property or their country. The one who holds the copyright is the master, is he not?

I knew from age seventeen that the first ancestors of humanity had fallen, and the principle of that content has, until now, received no welcome but only opposition.

Even now, when the root itself is opposed, where is there a place for Reverend Moon?

It was a matter of course when it was said, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.” I came forth as a lonely man, all alone.

So, from age seventeen until age thirty, there was silence. I knew far too much. From age fifteen, I bore the name of baksu mudang (male shaman). Whoever came before that person, I knew everything they were hiding.

Even those coming from ten li away, I knew what they had pilfered. “Take out the round candy in your left pocket and give it to me to eat!” “How do you know that?” “Heaven teaches me, so I know. Is it there or not? Speak! And yet you would boast of being a grandfather? Before you take it to your grandson, give it to me!” Such things I said.

Whatever one asks Reverend Moon, I do not have to seek to know what is asked. If I remain still, I enter the realm of resonance (공명권). Tongue and lips move at will, so I answer what is asked. I, too, learn. To what is asked, I answer, but even a doctor of scholarship or a Nobel laureate, when he comes to me, must flee within fifteen minutes.

I ask, “You have asked three questions, so I too shall ask three; if you cannot answer, the meeting is ended.” If asked more than three, I answer them all. When I enter the realm of resonance, my mouth answers. When I held an assembly in England, nine of the seventeen Nobel laureates attended. The president of their association came and asked to meet Reverend Moon.

So when the president of the Nobel Laureates Association asked to meet me, I asked him to wait. “Even if you come and ask to meet me, it cannot be helped. Wait!” I said. Later, when we met, I said, “Are you not such-and-such a person? Stretch out your hand. There is a secret writing on your hand.

Something is fixed upon your back.” “How do you know?” “That is why you cannot be my counterpart when you come to me!” Three questions were asked, and when he could not answer, he had to flee.

I am that kind of confident person. The roots are different. The stem is different; the shoot is different. A poem I composed in prayer at age sixteen, sixty-seven years later, was chosen from among one thousand eight hundred Western poets, selected centering on nine conditions, as the first-place poem. There is a poem called “The Crown of Glory”—it is a prayer. It took first place. The certificate and medal are in the museum. Would you still call it a lie?

There is World Scripture, Volumes 1 and 2. It was made centering on renowned scholars of the world. World Scripture came forth from research centering on thirteen religious bodies of the religious sphere, and do you know it is being used as a textbook in theological circles? It is a book used as a textbook in the religious world and in the political world. But who made it—no one knows. They do not know that Reverend Moon made it.

Whatever I Set My Mind to Do, I Do

The teacher walks really fast. When walking, ordinary people walk like this. If you lift your foot like this and walk, you cause a reaction, and your steps become very slow! I do not lift my foot more than three inches. It is less than ten centimeters.

In Las Vegas, there is a corridor over two hundred meters long, and I can tell at once whether its floor is level or not.

If you lift your foot three inches, seven-and-a-half centimeters, you stumble before taking thirty steps. It is uneven.

Others lift their feet more than seven inches, but I lift only three inches, so I am fast. Others walk lifting them this high, but I walk lifting only three inches, so I am fast, I say. From the village school, I went to a school twenty li away. I entered Osan School in third grade and attended there, taking my younger brother along. I was famous.

How did one who had been the chief among the village-school boys enter Osan School?

Osan School was the school of our clan. Our grandfather founded it. Grandfather Moon Yoon Guk was a pastor. I believe he became a pastor at age forty-one. He found that the world of classical Chinese learning, Confucianism, would not suffice.

The teacher received a recommendation from the school and intended to take a position at Manchuria Electric Industry and go to Hailar (海拉爾). Why? Because the White Russians (白系露人), having lost Russia, lived there as refugees. Then there were the patriots of Tibet, the patriots of India, the patriots of Thailand—patriots of four countries.

I intended to go there, learn the languages of those four countries, and return. I had thought that I must master the languages of eight nations. From childhood, I had such thoughts. From birth, I had the temperament of a revolutionary, so whatever I set my mind to do, I did.

If I said I would climb that tree, I climbed it even though the tree was unclimbable. The other children said they were afraid, but as for me, when I climbed, what was there to be afraid of? Monkeys climb, and squirrels go up and down—why should I not climb?

They said one cannot cross the river, but if the fish go, why can I not go?

They said all who went drowned and never returned, but I went and returned. How so? Even in going, there is a way one is guided. As for swimming, [Heaven] tells one, “Swim on your back; with belly downward, swim like a frog; swim like a turtle!” A turtle, as much as it can, does not breathe much.

Where the teacher goes—what is it?

Hyo Jin took after the teacher. I do not know how he could resemble me so. Wherever I went, the moment I met anyone, I made him a friend instantly. Within an hour, we were friends. I was strong too. I am a champion at moxibustion. I am the one who broke the record in applying cupping jars, too. I asked them to apply all the cupping jars they had. I thought that if you apply three times the usual number, one cannot rise or bend one's legs, but I was unaffected. I rose, and since evening had come, went to eat supper.

I Know How to Exercise Through the Four Seasons

When an ordinary man enters prison, he comes out dead within six months, but I did not die for two years and eight months. I knew the method. Clenching the five fingers like this, if there is a painful finger, I release it. I make tears flow. Then, when I plant my foot, I put strength into it, and then suddenly lift the foot and kick. All the strength gathers here, and suddenly, with a snap—thus it heals.

When one is older, cramps come often. I know the marrow of where cramps strike. By the opposite phenomenon, when this comes out, that side goes in. Where it is being pushed and going in, you must sweep through it from the very base. Pulling it, the cramp is released. I have many ways of exercising alone. Spring, summer, autumn, and winter—they differ. Now, was I not a wrestler?

For the teacher, when I did this, it reached down to my toes. In the old days, all of this touched. Even though Hyung Jin is past thirty years, you do not know how supple he is. In wrestling, when you do a hip throw and lift the opponent, you hook the leg; the big toe will not unbend.

If you set it like this, even if you die, it will not unbend. It cannot bend. By hooking with my leg, I can turn a man one ja or one foot above the ground.

If I straighten my foot, he falls with a thud. Since I do not straighten the toes, even when pressed, he does not fall.

Then they push from this side. If even the slightest angle is gained, they push with all force, but I rise upward and overturn them. Their heads stick down inverted. I was a wrestler. I do not know how skilled I was at slinging either. When others sling stones or fish, they do it this way from here. When I do it, the stone must travel more than 100 meters. If I were to play golf, I would become the champion.

If you play golf, aiming above the plane, gazing toward the sky where the sun is, and at night swinging to strike the stars, the ball will travel far.

In casting a fishing line, too, if I hold it like this and cast, it goes far. It goes more than 80 meters, more than 100 meters. Faster than a bullet. Centering on this hand, if I hold here and cast, it goes within 50 meters; if I hold here, it goes 15 meters. It is by formula. It is a three-stage trained method. It is the first stage, the second stage, and the third stage for breaking the necessary and proper objects. I have undergone such training. The course of the heavenly fortune keeps rhythm with the rod's motion.

In skipping stones, no one can match me. When the wind blows, I know from where it blows. The hand knows, I say. In striking, you cannot simply strike. You must wind and strike. You must go this way, like this. The stone goes, is struck once, then bounces, and bounces in the second stage, the third stage. It does not sink. Because it is struck on the tail, when struck, it receives force.

Since the force pushes it forward, it travels several meters farther than it would by its own force. I am one who has lived a life of evaluating statistical numbers under scientific analysis.

When I dress, I do not look—I do this swiftly. The same with buttons. Fastening the bottommost button, I grasp this firmly and, finding the holes as I descend, match them all.

If this hand is matched, then snap, snap, snap, all is matched. Matching buttons, too, I can do within ten seconds. When dressing, I do not need twenty or thirty minutes. Within seven or eight minutes, I can finish.

There is a formula for tying a necktie, also. Centering on what hangs down, you do it exactly so. When you put on a dress shirt, there are many pins. Holding a pin in my mouth, fitting it here, and pressing—it will not come out, no matter what. To remove a tie, there is a habit.

First, I take out the pin. First, take out the pin, then pull it through, and when it slips off with a quick motion, it catches just at the right place. Such a life is convenient.

Even now, when you look at my hand, it is soft and pliant. It does not straighten in a line. After fishing for twenty-five years, the surface has become so. Returning from Hawaii, I said, “Hand! You shall be a cripple. Will you remain so?”—and I straightened it. Now there is no trouble.

I know the painful spots. In prison, because I learned the vital points, what was I to do?

So even though I am not a physician, anyone who was sick came to me. “My belly hurts here. What do I do?” “There is a physician at the hospital; go and ask the physician—why have you come!” No matter how often they went and took medicine, it did not heal.

Even now they say, “If True Father touches me and shouts three times, 'You are dying,' it heals—do you have some magic jar?” Do you think I would teach that?

They do not quite know. Going by automobile is the same as being admitted to a hospital. Centering on the painful spot, if this side hurts, you release this side. You add force here and lift and knead that side, I say. One does it all by oneself.

Even without exercise equipment, I know how to exercise. Even now, I am in good health. Having returned for the twentieth time from Las Vegas, I did not sleep for three days and appeared this morning. How can one live thus? There is even a breathing method. If one seeks to learn the exercise, it is not taught. I have, in my own way, methods of self-treatment.

God Is the King of Peace

There is one famous for Unification Martial Arts (통일무술), but I do not need to learn Unification Martial Arts.

Was it not I who created Wonhwado?

Centering on the spirit world, I created Wonhwado. It is a fearsome martial art. Taekwondo is linear motion—how great is the wastage of force! As for Wonhwado, what becomes of the waste? It says, Exercise from here.

The same with skipping stones. From the waist, swirling around and then throwing the stone, how far does it fly? If there is a center, and you grip it at that center and release it straight, it travels far. With linear motion, force is wasted. Therefore, I am the one who began to reform exercise itself, centering on the logic of Wonhwado. I am its forefather.

In walking quickly, too, I am the forefather. My steps are fast. When I attended school, I walked twenty li, and students of the first, second, third, and fourth grades came following. Even children with five li left were waiting for the teacher to come. Why? Because if they followed me, they certainly would not be late. Five minutes before, by formula, we always arrived.

Since the school stood on slightly higher ground, we had to arrive exactly at that time. Walking like that, why should we have been late?

Since the talk of the notebook came up, I must speak more. It is a notebook in which to record during the period of the thirteen years of Cheon Il Guk. Two such notebooks are not needed. So in it is written “October 3, 2001.”

Originally, I had started in January 2001; why did I record from October 3? Because the Foundation Day of the World Unified Nation Opening of Heaven is that important.

Look here. Having written “Foundation Day of the World Unified Nation Opening of Heaven,” what comes as the great first item? It is “God's Coronation Ceremony as King and the Beginning of the New Heaven and New Earth.”

A new history of providence (섭리) has begun. None but I takes pleasure in such slogans. The first reads, “The words 'I,' 'you,' and 'we' must begin from God.” Truly, an astonishing word. It means that “I,” “you,” and our people came into being centering on God.

God is the King of Peace. How does one become king?

Since only God knows the way to repair the conflicting failure between Cain and Abel and the brokenness, we must serve God as the Master. Not only from the womb-period to infancy, boyhood, youth, manhood, old age, but even into the eternal world, such people go to Heaven centering on God.

Is the heading not splendid? It is not a game. It treads upon a formula. What does it mean that “I” exist? It means that because a woman exists, a man exists. Man was born because of woman, and woman was born because of man. The words “I,” “you,” and “we” must begin from God! An astonishing heading. There is no heading greater than this.

What I Said in My Youth and What I Say Now Are Not Different

The second is “Grasp through experience (체휼) the sorrow of God.” You must know that God is a sorrowful God. Is it eating and playing? When you have eaten, you must work. You must work and then rest. It is eat and sleep, go and come.

When going, one does not go for one's own sake—one goes for the sake of others. It is different. Going and coming, going for joy, and when returning after having served the other, even if not a penny is received, one says, “Ah, today I labored for you, and so going and coming is good!”

Going and coming, then good and bad. Though one walked for one's own sake, one says, “Enough—this will not do. I must live for you.” One who lives for the sake of others and returns has no troubled dreams when he sleeps.

The moment he shuts his eyes, he snores. Hearing the snoring sound, even the spirits come out and, fearing that they will fall ill listening to the man's snoring, flee. Ancestors and guardian spirits, listening to the snoring of a man tired from living for others' sake, fall ill. So they must leave that house. Having left and then returning, it is well.

The third is “Receive the True Blessing and Totally Negate Everything.” It means if you know it, practice it. The fourth is “Find True Love and Totally Restore”; the fifth is “Complete True Engrafting and Recreation.” This continues to a tenth, and what we must accomplish has been clearly laid out. I do not do this without knowing. The words the teacher spoke as a young man in his thirties are no different from what I say now. Read the messages about Jesus from that time. What was taught then, I am simply repeating now.

So, shall we again treat Christianity as an enemy and say, “Your seed and ours are different”? Of course, the seed is different. Cain killed Abel, but unless Abel completes and takes Cain along, there is no way to attend the Parent.

The 2009 New Year's motto: “Cheonjibumo Cheonju Anshikgwon, Absoluteness, True Love, True Life, True Lineage”……. I wrote “權” (“authority”). But the “권” in “Cheonjibumo Cheonju Anshikgwon” is the “圈” (“realm/circle”). The “圈” character keeps repeating whether it succeeds or not, but “權” is different. “權” is the “木” (tree) radical with “艹” (grass) above—this is planting a tree; the two “口” (mouths) are man and woman; here is “隹” (bird). All the myriad things take flight. If you write “權,” the responsible one, if a president, will lose his neck. There is no survivor.

It is Cheonjibumo Cheonju Anshikgwon, with absoluteness. If you violate absoluteness, there is no forgiveness. Concave and convex becoming one occurs only in the wedding of husband and wife.

Only Adam and Eve, the two of them, had it, and the moment of concave and convex becoming one in absoluteness was only the time of marriage. Even today, that cannot be broken. There is no divorce, I say.

If Satan goes up and down and overturns it, there is divorce.

Among the people of the Unification Church, if you receive the Blessing and do wrong, the wrongdoer is cast out. So it is for you as well. From now on, if a husband hides his wrong from his wife, his whole clan perishes. The clan is driven out.

What of it when Moses returned to Jerusalem?

If even a single person of another kingdom passed before the Ark, because of that one person, the kingdom was destroyed.

Among the Blessed clans, if even one person does wrong, that whole clan must disappear. They cannot remain. Therefore, since Adam and Eve first committed sin and were overturned, now among the Blessed, who—whether Adam or Eve—is the one responsible for destroying the conjugal life of absoluteness? One who acknowledges the concept of absoluteness yet does as he pleases shall disappear.

When a man and a woman do wrong, then both disappear. Although you of the Unification Church have married and both have remained until now, there is no way to receive the Blessing a second time.

The Sin of Being a Parent

Hereafter, if we only settle the media world and the banking world, the world will become one. Only upon that foundation, the era of the True Parents' Royal Authority UN, the Cosmic Settlement UN, where absolute faith, absolute love, and absolute obedience are possible, must come—then earth and heaven shall be liberated and released, and we shall eternally become the sons and daughters of God, and one homeland and one hometown shall open up. God's hometown is destined to be the land of Jeongju.

Moscow failed, Beijing failed, and Washington failed. All of them used the teacher to the full. What remains now is Reverend Moon. Reverend Moon, who has never once been honored, remains.

Centering on the autobiography, a great wind is blowing. Six hundred thousand copies have already been distributed; if this becomes one million two hundred thousand, more than three copies will enter every household. There is no one who would not read it. Once you begin reading, it is interesting.

I, too, read it once a day, up to three times. It is the confession of my history, the autobiography, and it has charm. Without my even being aware, tears flowed, and within three days, I finished it three times, so now I know what is where; if anyone alters even a single particle, I can tell.

The book As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen: Sun Myung Moon is the only such book. When I depart, I shall take it with me and display it in the museum of the heavenly kingdom.

Would a clan remain that stole it?

There are even cases of execution for spitting on a holy object. When the people of neighboring kingdoms gathered centering on Moses, and passing before the Ark did not bow or do anything but crossed over according to their own pleasure, those kingdoms were destroyed.

So it was centering on the Ark, I say. Within the Ark were the two stone tablets and the manna, and the food of the forty-year wilderness period was the manna.

Aaron's rod that sprouted—the sprout came forth inverted. Centering on a lawful wife, a true wife, restoration is not accomplished. That just falls to the bottom of hell. From there, the branch extends.

When called a rod, one grips the root and carries it about; but centering on what came out from here, what is it? This flows along its course, but what came out from here must become the rod of the Second Lord who comes.

This photograph was taken with my mother and father, the two of them, but it was made by separating my mother and me. It was on a calendar. It is a photograph that was on last year's calendar, with the part where Mother stood cut out. This photograph was chosen from among thousands of photographs. Gimm-Young Publishers said this photograph was the best, so they printed it.

It is inscribed, “Peace and love, the harmony of the world, is my lifelong mission.” From among the thousands of photographs the association had taken, Gimm-Young Publishers said this one was best. There were many new styles and many of the old styles, but they chose the one wearing a necktie, saying it fit. Men and women alike love this photograph. “Oh, is Reverend Moon so handsome? I opposed him without knowing, but seeing him now, he is a first-rank handsome man fit to serve a king!”—so they say.

Look here. Is it handsome or not? “Handsome, Father.” Lee Myung Hak and Ji Chang Yong are the foremost geomancers in Korea, and they are my disciples. With that much, am I not qualified to be the Savior? Am I not fit to be king? The Korean people have been trained to attend to God.

Do you know what a seven-month-old child is?

Though a child should come forth after ten months, when born at seven or eight months, it goes into the incubator and grows ever so well. Fed by a machine, it can be kept alive forever.

The sons and daughters of God can become as the younger siblings of God and surpass even God. The grandfather thinks, “My representative, the one who succeeds my line, must be better than I.” Parents wish their sons and daughters to be better than themselves.

Where does that desire come from?

It is a desire from before the Fall in Eden. No parent, when he has spent money, looks at how much was spent and demands interest. Even in death, even in the spirit world, a parent whose son is in hell goes to hell and weeps and prays before God. That is the sin of being a parent.

Without Liberating Even God, There Is No Path of Forgiveness

I know how vast the sin of not being a True Parent. Without liberating even God, there is no path of forgiveness. Do you know that here in Cheon Jeong Gung there is the throne where God is served?

Before coming here, you must bow a hundred or a thousand times before you ascend.

Do you not know what kind of place this shall hereafter become?

God shall come here and remain eternally; this shall become a museum where the tombs of God's sons and daughters are connected in this garden and can be visited. It is to be a place where the world's saints may be buried.

So, there is no tomb of Jesus, is there?

There is none, but Jesus himself must know where his bones are.

Do you know that the place where he was buried, the place where his flesh and bones decayed, shall be brought here, and in place of where Jesus' corpse was laid, this shall become the Garden of Origin?

Here are the three generations who could have died in the helicopter incident. At that time, what would have died was protected and lived. By God's protection, we came out of the helicopter without shedding a drop of blood.

That was a miraculous event among helicopter accidents. As the ancestral site of worldwide aviation accidents to be praised and revered, there is a model base in the grounds of Cheon Jeong Gung. It shall become a holy ground hereafter. Do you believe the teacher's words or not? “We believe.” Unless one stands upon absolute faith, absolute love, and absolute obedience, one cannot follow where the Teacher goes.

I have made the textbooks, but I have not used a single page from the scriptures left by the founders of religions. I evaluated them. We must establish the royal authority of trans-religion and trans-culture. God, as the King of Peace, has kept watch without dying. Korea has not perished.

Though her history is several thousand years old, the Korean people have never occupied and ruled any nation. How astonishing. Korea, for thousands of years, has kept the genealogical line of the first son, and the family records of several thousand years remain.

I have done everything I had to do. I made the textbook; I made the teaching material. If there is anything in the teaching material that I have not fulfilled, it is a lie. I tear it up. I rip it out. I read this book every day.

Every day I read it, and with eyes closed, I open the book and, centering on which finger of my right hand has pressed where, I see whether there is anything wrong. If there is anything wrong, then I am a hypocrite and a fraud.

Let us read this. (Hoon Dok of the preface to As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen.)

Truly fearsome words. Whether they are fact or falsehood, I do not know. I lived without knowing. There was One who guided me apart, so I merely followed; and not yet having settled at the terminus is my han (한), but who shall protect this band of those who, defending me and embracing me, shielding me layer upon layer like fences so that I would not shed a drop of blood nor be wounded, follow without losing the path I tread—those of this hardship-laden environment? Only this is my concern.

Because the ancestors in heaven promise to come and protect, I forget even that and hurry with swift steps toward the one-sided goal of my path—on what day shall come the han-laden final scene of the world for Reverend Moon? Where shall be the place where I lie down? I know. I know where it shall be. Then all is well. Serious words.

When I reach that world, my feet will weep. The pain in my feet will vanish in a whoosh, and the clouds that stopped up my breast will disappear. Centering on the word “Father,” the thousand-year winding tangle of stories will straighten, and it will become like a garden lake without waves.

Washing my face there, the fish, wanting only to drink the water mingled with Father's fragrant sweat, await that morning, and that fact, too, calls forth a “How grateful!” One must live giving praise to Heaven and depart—such is the path of life.

The Original Homeland Where We Will Finally Rest

Because I know that darkness cannot occupy that place, and because I have made an unerring original text and teaching material, if you believe and attend well and come forth, you will surely come to the place where I dwell. There you will meet the true form of the Parent, and, shouting Mansei three times, hope to live eternally. I, too, have an unavoidable destined path remaining, bearing in my heart the farewell song, “World, farewell! I am leaving.”

Those who knew this should have preceded me, going to the spirit world to prepare, preparing before the saints and sages decades or hundreds of years in advance; since they have not prepared, what shall become of them? Centering on the fiftieth anniversary of my marriage, raising the banner of victory of worldwide hegemony, I shall congratulate you and receive you.

From the place where the True Parents who can stand in place of God's heart exist, the stage of eternal life begins. Knowing how precious that place in the heavenly kingdom is, you shall shed tears of gratitude.

The mystery of attendance for which, no matter how many thousands and tens of thousands of times you fulfill the way of loyalty and filial piety, you would still say it is insufficient, as masters of that mystery like the Grand Canyon, as princes and princesses of Heaven, what must you do?

The world where, as proud princes and princesses, inheriting the royal throne of heavenly nature, where one may attend and live with God, only the liberated kingdom of heaven is unfolded—that is the place we must eternally seek, the original homeland where we shall finally rest, the land of our original hometown.

You must know that this book is God's textbook and teaching material. Even when the Teacher is no longer here, if you become one with this and live, you shall go to the heavenly world where the Teacher dwells.

I hope you will prepare, knowing that a Father and Mother await, before whom you may play the role of children attending God. We shall serve breakfast here, so eat and then return to your hometowns and put your families in order.

To attend the True Parents, there must be the family of Adam, who can become the master of a family, and the family of Jesus, who can become the master of a nation; but Jesus could not hold the Holy Wedding.

The Returning Lord, too, having lived alone, held the Holy Wedding, but because it was broken and one could not live centering on the anniversary of the Holy Wedding, he could not treat his wife as a wife.

Therefore, the one who has received persecution from his wife more than anyone is Reverend Moon. Meeting Mother, I could not do as Mother wished. How many were the inner and outer difficult passes I crossed, I do not know. To you, these are dreamlike tales. Because I knew all of them, there is a historical backstage that I have safely come through.

If I were to speak of the teacher's background, no one would be left alive. All would have to disappear, I say.

Now, having gone to the heavenly world, you must, through your sons and daughters, fulfill what you could not in filial piety with your Parents. Do you know how many sons and daughters await my coming, and how eagerly? You say, “May you live long!”—but I shall not release the sons and daughters who wait for me, an hour like a thousand years, upon the earth. I must go quickly.

Whatever was to be released on earth has all been completed, for I have prepared the textbook and teaching material.

Japan Is the Nation of Eve

Centering on the day before Christmas last year, I left Las Vegas and came here, finished the assembly, then went again to Las Vegas for the twentieth time and, returning, proclaimed this work. I went to Las Vegas and crossed all the hills of the number thirteen, and there, if we call England the mother of the West, the lawful wife, then Japan is the concubine. The lawful wife was forsaken, and they lived centered in Japan, but Japan does not know God.

They set up the kamidana (神棚; a household shrine where deities are enshrined) and think that if they serve only their ancestors, they shall be saved and go to Heaven. Japan is the country where spiritual communication is easiest.

All of them communicate. At Yoyogi (代々木), there is the Meiji Shrine. The Japanese take it as their original homeland and call the emperor arahitogami (現人神). The Japanese emperor is called arahitogami, that is, the living god of the present.

That arahitogami is enshrined in the Yoyogi shrine. In each home, a kamidana is set up, and just as at Yoyogi, the ancestors' revelations through dreams are kept.

The Japanese, a people whose three generations live together on earth, honoring their ancestors, those Japanese do not know God.

Reverend Moon made Korea the Adam nation and Japan the Eve nation. Of those who have come here from Japan as brides, raise your hands. More than half. These are united with the Teacher; they are not united with their husbands or in-laws. The true intent of their coming as brides was that they came seeking Teacher, the True Parents, but they did not know the True Family.

If the standard of absolute faith, absolute love, and absolute obedience toward the True Parents is established, though things be difficult now, they shall pass.

If during this period you live centering on True Parents' command, the liberated Korean people, from that day, can register in the position of ancestors. The clan of True Parents is being recorded, and linking yourselves to that, you go up, I say. Yes, it is the nation of Eve.

What women have lost is the right to the economy and the Abel nation. They have lost the Abel nation of earth and heaven, the economic right, even human rights and divine rights. Because the one who can become master of the five great authorities—starting with human rights and divine rights, and extending to individual, family, tribe, people, and nation—is True Parents, they came longing for the embrace of True Parents, not longing for the land of Korea.

But True Parents have no time to embrace them. The matter of America is so busy, and the work of touring the world is so busy, I do not know how busy. You must support that. You must give economic support, and the path of suffering that is your own, you must walk with gratitude. Is Park No Hee here? What was the song Park No Hee used to sing?

Recently, I had it sung three times—who knows how to sing that song? “The person who knows 'Ulsan Arirang' is sitting at the back.” It is not “Ulsan Arirang.” It is a song sung in Japan. “Ulsan” is a song that Koreans sing; what song did No Hee sing? What is the content of “Ulsan Arirang”?

Because the Korean woman, the bride, could not fulfill her responsibility, Teacher's flowering youth withered. I lived having lost everything as a man. There is such a meaning in “Ulsan Arirang,” but it is a song to be sung by Japanese women.

Hearing this song, I thought, “Ah, this is a song that Japanese women can sing! Treated as base brides, a country that should have been sold off to the four nations on every side after the Second World War and disappeared—yet has remained, and because they can sing this song with gratitude, I have kept watch over them.”

That Japan, as a defeated nation, did not pay reparations was something I arranged through Chiang Kai-shek. Is there no one who knows how to sing Mi Mune no Ouenka (み旨の応援歌; Cheering Song of the Will)? In truth, Yun Jeong Ro should sing it. “Shall we have her sing 'Boat Song'?” “Boat Song” is the song they used to sing at Yeosu—is it a Japanese song?

If you went through the forty-day training and can sing “Boat Song,” let the representative who was the section leader at that time come out and lead and sing that song. It is Mi Mune no Michi (み旨の道; Path of the Will); while Teacher was in prison, I had Kamiyama make an eight-hundred-page book and ordered him to educate with it, but he did not. (“Boat Song” sung in chorus.)

The Place Where God Will Lie Down

Twice as many women are standing here as those seated. You must follow the tradition of Japanese women. They directly breathe and match the rhythm, but if you match the rhythm by thinking, you lose. In activity, you lose, I say. Is the education at Yeosu continuing? “Yes.” Now, starting from the Japanese leaders, you must do it again.

The master of “Boat Song” is the nation of Japan. The Japanese pioneered the seas of Cape Town, the southern tip of Africa, and fished there. There are squids larger than a man. There is such a sea. They catch fish in deep waters several hundred meters down. To the seas where the Japanese of Cape Town could not go, the Koreans went and outdid them, so I know that the masters of Cape Town, too, have become Koreans.

Because I know this, in his youth, Teacher passed through, taking the five oceans and six continents as his stage. In the fishing grounds of America's fifty states, in famous regions, no one does not know Reverend Moon. Leaving my country, I worked thus, yet my country, to do away with me, did every kind of vile deed. They prepared even a burial place for me, but in that grave, the Teacher shall not be buried.

So it is even now. They are preparing graves for all those who could be kings of the world, but the Teacher has not given the word to prepare my grave. I have not prepared a place where God may lie down.

Currently, when even God parts and departs from His substance, where is the place where He may lie down? It is the earth. I know that this place is that place. It is the place where the pine tree stands.

That pine tree—Teacher has gone up and down it many times—what of it? When I came down from Cheonseong Mountain, I would always stand beneath it; what did I do?

If I went up at noon, I would eat dinner there and come down; if I went up in the morning, I would have lunch and come down; if I went up at dawn, I would take breakfast and lunch wrapped up and eat them and come down. That was a place where I took meals.

When pinecones from each branch fell, I told the members of the Unification Church to take the seeds, plant them, and when the trees came to life, to report to me—yet no one has so reported. Among the trees in our Hannam-dong house, what is the fruit tree? “It is the quince tree (mogwa).” That quince tree is one not found anywhere else in the world. When the one-of-a-kind quince tree was purchased, I heard it was over 170 or 200 years old, and three branches were made into a single tree.

I put devotion into that quince tree and saved it so that the same leaves come out, the same flowers bloom, the same fragrance arises, and it becomes a tree to which butterflies and bees can fly.

A quince tree that might have disappeared was saved, and I received the seeds and distributed them. There is nowhere in the country to which the seeds have not gone. The era when fruit could bear has already passed.

True Parents Are the Owners of True Love

The quince fruit is a good medicinal fruit. I know that if you combine it with a few other fruits, you can make medicine. To make medicine, deer antlers and ginseng are combined. Ginseng is cultivated in Geumsan, and the master of that place is our Il Hwa, isn't it? All the ginseng of South Korea has been absorbed by Il Hwa and made to pioneer the world market.

But counterfeiters have come out and sold counterfeit goods. How destitute must one be to make the real into counterfeit and sell counterfeit as real? Even knowing this, I let it be. In exchange, the money earned cannot be used for oneself, I say.

What is the purpose I seek in centering on the quince and ginseng? Among the world's humankind, I must make medicines that can be stored in the gardens, fields, and storehouses of the leaders living in every village who can keep the way of heavenly loyalty and filial piety. Only I can do this.

The name of Il Hwa has become famous, has it not? Il Hwa was nearly blown away during the IMF crisis. To prevent that, I alone fought an extraordinary battle.

Together with the U.S. government, I mean. What was placed in the workout was recovered, and from last year, a surplus began. By recovering what was placed in the workout, Il Hwa has returned to its former place, true to its name.

In New York, our foundation cannot be ignored by America. The rich men of Korea are nothing compared to. The rich men of this country come and, saying, “Oh, is Reverend Moon the boss of the New York chaebols?” they collapse. Reverend Moon is known here, too. They know what I am doing. Though I have no relatives, no nation, I have pierced through to the summit of the economic, religious, and cultural world. Now I shake the two worlds.

Without making the belt into two, becoming a couple who can guard each other by binding two bodies together with one belt—that was Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, who should have lived so.

Originally, they were spiritual twins. They were divided. Adam and Eve were brother and sister; how did Eve, opening the door of love to her elder brother, instead love the archangel? It could not have happened.

For ten thousand years, there has been no method to administer that incident. To administer it, the very one who became the false parent must come forth and open not the gate of false love but the gate of original love. The one who knows the fact of what happened, the physical evidence, and the fact in which not a hair's breadth could be a lie—that one is True Parents. The owner of true love. Only that one can do what to the han of God? God has not experienced the stage of practicing love.

If Adam had married with body and mind united, that wedding ceremony would have been God's wedding ceremony. Though God was not seen, He was within the valley of Adam's mind, and as Adam named, so it became.

God was to take the lead; the body of Adam was not to lead. Reverend Moon came forth and clarified all such roots. I know all of it, I say. I know all about how it fell and at which hill it twisted.

Therefore, through history, I have suffered up to now and have even gone into every kind of prison. Now I have crossed over all of it. The autobiography came out, and they say six hundred thousand copies have been sold. Five hundred thousand have been sold. Six hundred thousand have been printed.” If I have it sold to two million copies, the copyright is to revert to me.

“If you sell 1.2 million, 1.5 million, or 1.6 million, return it to me!” I said, And if they do not return it, I can take it back even by force.

To the houses of all nations of the world, tens or hundreds of copies enter the realm of one clan and are used, so from infants to those buried in cemeteries—what of it?

The books to be sent in coffins will number thousands and tens of thousands. It is the book that hundreds of billions in the spirit world and physical world are reading, and no teaching material can negate that book. This is the last. It is God's teaching material and textbook.

Even at Harvard, Yale, or Princeton, they could make textbooks, but the teaching material must contain all the secrets of heaven and earth. A teaching material woven of the precious things of heaven and earth, they cannot make. The one who knows the teaching material is I.

Isn't Reverend Moon the one who knows every valley of the spirit world, the history of earth, the background of the cultural world, and even the secret of human history? Only I can make the teaching material.

Before going to Japan in my twenties, Teacher already made more than sixty percent of the contents of this teaching material.

Even if I die, what happens on the very day I publish this?

If you teach those who pray the contents of the original text, they will know. Those rascals in the Unification Church who use the Principle for their ends are thieves.

We must seize all their property and collect a hundredfold or a thousandfold. The time has come to wipe out even the nation's root and stem and to harvest. As you have sown, so must you reap.

Shall this then be done by universities, by newspapers, by banks, or by politicians? There are 193 nations in the UN, and in those 193 nations, there are the heads of the media and banking. The heads of those compete, and Las Vegas, I know well, has become the active base of the sales market.

Descendants Who Fall Away Lacking Devotion

If in Las Vegas, centering on Cain and Abel, the President and the regional kings and the Unification Church become one, the world cannot help but be ours. Having completed all twenty courses, we must sell publicly.

Now we sell cheaply, but when the sale price is set centering on the value ten years later, a hundred years later, several hundred years later—how expensive shall the price of this book become ten years, thirty years, even ninety years after the teacher departs? Even all one's property combined could not be exchanged for it.

The descendants who, ignoring this and not investing devotion, fall away—the sons and daughters of presidents, the sons and daughters of cabinet ministers—may become, as servants of servants, kings of beggar-dens on an island nation. A fearsome world is coming that shall overturn. A Japanese offered me 280 million dollars for this original, but I drove him away. Truly, the whole universe is here! Yet thus despised, I grew up in the secret storehouse of a beggar's den.

What popular song do I not know? I lived in the house of an automobile driver who served the Governor-General and his secretaries in the era of the Japanese Empire. It was a boarding house. To take such people to gisaeng houses, the driver too had to know all the seductive ditties. I recall the lines from the songbook: “When coal and charcoal burn, the smoke billows; when this breast of mine burns, not even steam rises.”

The stack of popular-song records was as tall as I am. The stack thus piled, in a single week, I listened to it all. I listened without sleeping. From the important songs there, I could have drawn material and composed several thousand popular songs, but had I done so, the path of the Unification Church would have been blocked. So I did not. I know popular songs well, too.

When fine popular songs are sung, even now I follow along. In the old days, I sang alone and so on, taking joy in it; I would befriend bamboo and pine branches and dance with them as partners and sing songs. Even now, I dance well and mimic well. Am I not born in the year of the monkey?

When I broke wind, it had the scent of sesame. “Ah, the scent of love!”—and on the last day of the lunar year, in our village, maidens of age who could not yet marry came in droves and waited. Sa Gil Ja too. When she saw my bare feet, she said, “Oh, how pretty this is!” When I matched them this way, she said it was like a sandwich. What is a sandwich? Meat or some such between the bread, to bring out various flavors.

A Place to Gather and Educate the People of the World

To go to our Hannam-dong house, there is a hill like Arirang Pass. Now, who built our house? It was a Bukcheong water seller. He was the boss of the maritime industry, and when President Park went to his house, an escalator ran from the first floor to the third floor. He had called for President Park, and as soon as he entered the inner room, President Park said, “While the people of the nation are starving to death, do you live like this?”—and struck like lightning.

That place is like the head of a dragon, so anyone of weak fortune or fate who enters there is driven out or goes to prison and dies. Three people were driven out from there. I do not worry about that world. There is the Military Academy at Taereung; the hill behind it is my mountain. Already, the surroundings are all land I have bought.

In Sutaek-ri, I had agreed to purchase up to 780,000 pyeong and bought 710,000 pyeong, but the rest I have not yet bought. At the very end of Mangwoo-ri, there is a temple. Of that, 430,000 pyeong remained. The land of Walker Hill was also our land. There was also our farm in the field of Jangja Pond, where someone named Kim had made a farm. They have seized Jangja Pond too and will not give it back. My name is on it; let them try to take it away. To level it requires so much money; they say I must put forth three times that. In Jangja Pond, nothing grows but maggots.

If the city sells it and levels it, they can sell it at over ten times the current land price. I asked them to stop. I can fill it in and make level land. I mix one part of cement with five parts and create a solid ground that no one can dig, even with a shovel. I am trying to make a valley of rock. That place in Sutaek-ri was a famous tobacco-producing region.

Even the top of Mangwoo Pass, Teacher had bought, but it was all seized. In President Park's time, that area was designated as absolute farmland, so no one but farmers could live there; but I had designated it as a place to raise those who could hereafter become presidents of the nation. I had designated it as a place where presidents, congressmen, ministers, and leaders of the world's leadership, and citizens, could be gathered and educated.

I have laid out the divided regions in the six continents. Because my name was not on the land thus laid out, when I returned from America, they had sold it all off. Knowing they could be caught if I waged a legal battle, the lawyers, prosecutors, and judges combined to buy the land cheaply, thinking even to drive out Reverend Moon, and sold it off.

Those lawyers, judges, and prosecutors—I know them all. When I am about to come, they take rooms in the middle of Seoul, in Myeong-dong, Jongno, or Dongdaemun, and flee and hide; when I am gone, they come back and live. Even those houses, since they were built upon my name, must all be torn down and made just as they were—with trees, and ditches where the water flowed.

In the teacher's notebook, all is recorded. October 3, 2001: three-times-seven (3 × 7 = 21), the position where Adam, not fallen, has crossed the hill of the number thirteen. That day was designated as the Foundation Day of Cheon Il Guk. I appointed the Foundation Day of Cheon Il Guk. The Korean Gaecheonjeol (National Foundation Day), too, was set by one who was spiritually attuned. October 3.

Here, May 4, 2009, is the end. There is nothing further. Centering on 2010, I wrote, “Greeting the Tenth Year of Cheon Il Guk—Special Matters: The Era of Unifying the Solar and Lunar Calendars.”

The solar calendar shall disappear. Centering on the teacher's birthday this time, the solar calendar disappears. Centering on the yukgap-puri (육갑풀이), the secret method by which the lunar and solar calendars can be unified has been found. People do not know this. Their bloodlines are different, so they do not know. Heaven could not teach them.

Yet our bloodline became one with the principle and attended God. So it is in our clan. Wherever a woman married out or a man married in, God was introduced.

“Follow the law of our house,” it was said. Cheonji-hyeonhwang, Jinsuk-yeoljang, Hanrae-seowang, Yullyeo-joyang—this is a passage of the Thousand Character Classic.

The “律” (“law”) and “呂” (“law”) of Yullyeo-joyang—what do they mean? It means there are the palace laws of two kingdoms. Only when the palace law of heaven and the palace law of earth are reconciled does the sun shine.

Only when the sun shines does Un-deung-chi-u (운등치우; “clouds rise, bringing rain”), with “구름 운, 날 등, 이를 치, 비 우.” On the next page comes Geom-ho-geo-gwol (검호거궐). The chapter of world unification is entirely in the Thousand Character Classic.

Mount Baekdu Must Be Occupied, Mount Myohyang Must Be Governed

Centering on the Heavenly Lake (Cheonji) of Mount Baekdu, what came to be? The Yalu, Tumen, and Songhwa Rivers. The Songhwa flows and joins the Heilong, and at the mouth where the Heilong enters the Northern Sea (Sea of Okhotsk), it is four hundred li wide. The catfish there—the isimi fish—swallow not only a bull and cow, but their young along with them.

This time, I am sending Yun Tae Geun to the Heilong to fish. I intend to even cover his expenses. That catfish swallows a pair of bull and cow and even the young, along with them. He is the one I trained to catch that fish. Among the bluefin tuna I have caught, the largest weighed 1,373 pounds. Our boat was a little over twelve feet wide; that one was fourteen feet, so it stuck out this much.

Its normal speed was seventy-five miles per hour (about 120 km/h). When it goes slowly, it is thirty-five miles per hour. At two hundred miles per hour, an airplane takes off. Its shape is exactly like a military torpedo.

Since fins would be an obstruction, they are all gone. The fins are tucked in tight, smooth like a torpedo. The torpedo used by the navy has the shape of the bluefin tuna, I say.

So my interest in the sea is great. The teacher knew already at age ten that there was the black current (Kuroshio) in the Pacific. How did I know? Since the spirit world taught me, I knew. I read a book called The Journey of the Shark, and it said that in the Pacific, there is the Kuroshio, and along the path through which the Kuroshio flows, there is an island called Mokyodo (木曜島). It said that the best divers in the world go there, to a place 120 gil deep, to collect black pearls. There was a famous region where black pearls were caught.

Even while attending grade school, I was one who studied how to go and gather those black pearls. Atop Mount Baekdu is the Heavenly Lake; from where does the spring emerge? It is granite; from which outlet does the water come forth, from the Heavenly Lake, and flow year-round into the Songhwa, the Yalu, and the Tumen? Where does the water capable of flowing such a stretch come up from; what kind of sea lies at its source—I am one who studied even that.

I have not gone to Mount Baekdu. I must occupy Mount Baekdu and govern Mount Myohyang. I have not climbed Mount Fuji (富士山). I went up to the seventh part of the slope, but did not go to the summit. When I traveled, I usually went up to the seventh part and returned. When returning thus, there was an uproar at our house. I had sent word that I would reach home by such-and-such a date, and during that period, the Konron-maru (崑崙丸) sank. I had sent a telegram saying I would board that ship to Busan, and since the ship sank, they were certain I had died.

That matter is like a dream. When I went to Tokyo Station, my feet would not move. I was going to board that ship. But my friends said, “Hey, hey, hey…!” My name at that time was Yong Myung. Secret documents and their puzzle-like items were kept stored in my room, and they had proposed that, with me at the center, we climb Mount Fuji. Each of the ten friends brought me, but I said I could not go.

They asked me to give up the thought of taking the Gwanbu Ferry (關釜連絡船) to Korea. The crowd of friends, like wild young bulls—what did they know? “Hey, you rascal! When your friends are going, why don't you come along?”—and they were preparing even to abduct me. Since my feet would not move, the ones on either side, trying to grab me, said, “Ah, his feet won't budge. Yong Myung's words are right!” Even the saying that in the sky black dragons and blue dragons ride upon the clouds and travel—they had thought it a lie, but it proved true.

Would my feet have lifted? If they had heeded my words and not tried to take me, they would have. The train time was nearly up; they could just board the train to Mount Fuji, but what was I to do? I had no ticket. As we were arguing thus, the women and the distinguished guests standing around saw. There were distinguished guests, and centering on one student, a matter arose. He said he would go, but he refused, and even when dragged, his feet stuck and would not move—seeing this, some ladies pitied him.

The Mother Who Departed, Leaving History

In those times, the teacher's senses were quick. “Among these here, who is the woman most sympathetic toward me?”—I looked, and it was “that woman.” “Since I have no money to buy a ticket, please lend me some.” “How much?” she asked, opening her handbag, in which money was packed thick. “Ah, is that so? Seeing you as a student, I would like to meet you separately,”—and she gave it. With that money, I tried to buy a ticket, but it was late, and I could not buy one. So, unable to board the train, I could not go home.

I had sent the telegram saying I was coming home. Having received the telegram, my parents waited at the appointed time, but I did not appear. So they were certain I had died. I think of my mother's love as astonishing. It was early October.

Mother, at night, was about to enter to bathe before sleeping when she received the news—what did she do? Without putting on shoes, without putting on an outer garment, in only her single pair of trousers, she rushed out. She ran toward Jeongju County, a road of twenty li.

Mad with grief that her son had died, she ran, not knowing where she ran. Crossing a bamboo field and an acacia field, acacia thorns pierced into the soles of her feet. With thorns embedded in her feet and blood flowing, not knowing the pain, she went all the way to Jeongju Police Station; since my name was not on the list, she went all the way to Busan Police Station. Boarding a train in that attire when Mother went to Busan, she even heard people ask, “What is that woman?” For hours on the train, weeping and wailing, every kind of thing happened. Such is the mother who departed, leaving behind that history.

After returning home, she still searched for her son, asking how her son could possibly come. About ten days later, when I came to Jeongju, they learned that I had not died but was returning alive, and the whole neighborhood prepared a feast, and all the kinsfolk gathered. I got off at Jeongju Station and went to my hometown—it was a little under twenty li. It was when grandmother and grandfather were still alive; entering the gate of my hometown house, a wailing rang in my ears.

Looking at the situation, droves of people had gathered to see me. Sisters, cousins, even sixth cousins of in-laws. Within sixth-degree kinship, they are all as siblings, and I had become a young bachelor uncle. Younger siblings had married out and had brought their sons and daughters in droves to greet me, and an uproar arose in the whole county. The state of it was pitiful.

The House That Bore Total Responsibility for the Five Northern Provinces

In those days, the teacher could go to Mount Baekdu every vacation, but I did not. I did not go to Mount Myohyang either. I knew the people of intent and the famous people of Mount Myohyang, but I did not go, I say.

Not having studied the level of devotion of our ancestors who entered famous places and disciplined themselves, I felt I could not go without that study. I thought I would go after first uniting North and South.

That region was the heartland of Goguryeo. The plains of Manchuria, south of Siberia, were the territory of Goguryeo. I thought I must recover that and then go.

So, as one undergoing discipline and the training process, I would not go. By the time I was fifteen, there was nothing in the world I did not know. At that time, independence fighters would drop by our house at 1 a.m.; in administering the finances of the Shanghai Provisional Government for the five northern provinces, ours was the house that bore total responsibility for all five northern provinces.

No one knew. On rainy and thundering days, or on days when footprints would be filled with snow within five minutes, people would come to our house. On such a day, when it was 3 a.m., what then? They would come at 3 and at 3:30 had to depart. The bands of beggars, sometimes fifteen or twenty came at once.

Then Mother alone, at night, boiled noodles. The noodle press was in the kitchen. By pressing through it, she had it set up so that the noodles would be ready when just dropped into water. She had only to boil the water and let them cook. When two people stepped up on the press and pressed, noodles came out. With one turn of the press, enough for four or five persons came out.

So within an hour or two, twenty people could be fed and a feast held. It was simple. As for meat, it was pheasant rather than chicken. As for pheasant—not the hen but the cock pheasant—going into our storehouse, dozens were hung. I knew. When guests came late, we even killed chickens for them, but the chicken meat was tough.

I knew pheasants that were one year old. Even cock pheasants I knew. Looking at the talons, I knew; looking at the beak, I knew. A three-year-old pheasant was more tender than a one-year-old chicken. Boiling soup, putting in a single shred at a time, just one or two pieces of meat eaten while swallowing water with the noodles—it was the same as feasting on pheasant.

So, eating their fill, they warmed their bodies in our room. We had stoked the firewood thoroughly. The room was kept hotter than the inner room, and after eating, they would rest for thirty or forty minutes. In the kitchen, firewood was burned; the flue ran out like this, and with that heat, the room was warmed.

Sitting and warming the body, when they had to flee, they could leap out from the southern door to the northern door. They did not exit by one door. Even if police kept watch, going east, west, north, and south, they could be out within three minutes. No one knew where they had gone.

Even when the police came, they could not catch them. From the courtyard, grasping the verandah, they leapt over. They scaled walls one or two heights of a man. As long as their hands could reach, they cleared it. Watching such things, would a young man who knew nothing want to learn or not? So I did a horizontal-bar exercise. Even now, whatever I grip, I climb and clear.

At Fifteen Years Old

There were many police officers who entrusted me with catching informants. I knew which relative had come and gone. At night, behind the outhouse, behind the cow shed, when two met, I knew which relative had come and met.

When I opened my mouth, from Deokdal-myeon, the informants of seven townships were uncovered. Even if a grandfather or grandmother was caught, just one, they were buried on the spot. Not a single shot was fired. They were buried in the sand, I say.

Grandfather said, “You shall not go to school.” So at fifteen, I went to Osan High School, and our grandfather was practically the owner of the school. A zealot of Confucianism, who used to say, “Master Confucius said, Master Mencius said,” at age fifteen, entered the third grade of Osan Elementary School. I entered with only a few days left before the third-grade summer vacation.

Because I tested well, by the end of third grade, I skipped to fifth grade. I already knew all about Confucius and Mencius, the ideology of Confucianism, and the principles of heaven and earth, you see. The children were ten years old, and I was a fifteen-year-old bachelor. They even sent letters proposing to make me their son-in-law and did all sorts of things.

Wherever I went, it was so. Even at midnight, the gathered people did not think of going home. So until one or two in the morning, I could not sleep. From one or two was my time of prayer—how could I sleep? I kept my prayer time. So after ten in the morning, until twelve, I slept.

Then I would eat lunch and wander about. I went to the mountains to catch birds, and also to the village gambling dens; when I rebuked those who cheated, just as I rebuked, they went to prison. A hundred percent. I did not know how to lie. Among those gambling, there was a representative for each village.

I knew everything and said, “You know what kind of person I am? I am not a spy. Our ancestors were patriots, and I have that traditional spirit. Because I must live thus, I shall not let your wrongs stand.” If they did not go to the police box, they had to be locked up in something like our clan's prison.

When I locked them up like that for three days without reporting to the police box, they would say, “I will guide you to that house!” I knew where the houses were. Even the police box chief feared me.

The chief of the police station also knew of these facts. The chief of the intelligence section of the police station knew, I say. I could telephone at any time. If they did not heed my words, it became difficult.

Even when the police box chief was transferred, if he did not know that, lightning struck. I stood him up and kicked his backside. “You rascal, you came without even knowing that? Telephone your predecessor and ask what kind of person So-and-so is here!”—and I kicked his backside, I say.

That police box chief, not sleeping at night, would come find me, would invite me from my home into the police box, and would have to introduce me. “If we do not believe this man, our police station is in trouble,” he said. I knew all the secrets of the police station. The same with the county magistrate.

A Man Who Has Left Behind History and Tradition

At my graduation ceremony, the governor of North Pyongan Province, the vice-governor, the bureau chiefs, people from the Ministry of Education, famous advisors, and officials all came.

When I graduated from Jeongju Public Common School, I had the power to direct even the teachers. At the graduation ceremony, [the head said,] “Today we have met all whom we should meet, centering on the guests, and have greeted all whom we should greet; so among the students, if there is anyone who will grow up to be a patriot and shoulder the country, come out and speak!”

In those days, being called a patriot meant being denounced, so no one came out. So having stayed still, I said, “I shall go forward”—and going forward, I poured forth an ardent speech. Within three years, I had finished enough Japanese-language study to enter university and graduate school. So I said things even the Japanese could not understand and let them have it. That was in the spring of my nineteenth year.

After graduating, I attended Gyeongseong Practical Vocational School in Seoul. I entered the newly created electrical engineering department. It had architecture and commerce departments, which were famous. Its principal had graduated from Gyeongseong University with distinguished grades and, at age thirty-nine, founded the school.

The first, second, and third graduating classes had never failed to be employed at well-known companies. To that extent, it had a reputation. The principal's name was Doi Sanyo (土居山洋).

When one said “Chief of the Jeongju Police Station,” they were regarded as more fearsome than the chief at Pyongyang or Sinuiju. Why so? Because Jeongju was a refuge fortress of the patriots going to Mount Baekdu and Guseong. From the north, they entered Gyeongheung, entered the Soviet Union, and went to and fro to Harbin in China at any time. I knew that route well, too.

Because I had spoken out and so on at the graduation ceremony, from that time I became a person of concern. Whenever I went anywhere on a journey, they followed.

If I went fishing, they followed even to the fishing place; when I cast a net, [I would say,] “You rascal, carry the net!” Even a police box chief, if he did not heed my words, was reported at once to the intelligence section. If misreporting to the intelligence section agents, he could suffer harm.

Even in preparing official reports, if a character was wrongly written, I would say, “This character is written this way,” and teach them. After the first, second, or third time, they had no choice but to copy down the report just as I had given it.

That became an issue, and some among the investigators went to prison. Why? Their reports had been lies, but in what I had said, there was not a single lie. Even passing through villages or crossing the mountain valleys, everything I said was right.

Because I, who did not lie but wrote according to fact, would, with their agents centering on me, refute even fabricated reports in the village; those who had been beheaded or driven out were among them. I am a man who has left behind such history and tradition.

The Person Who Can Open the Gate of Heaven

The fourth person here—from where did you come?

Earlier, when I asked the Blessed to raise their hand, you did not seem to have raised it; why did you not raise it? “I did raise it.” How did you raise it? Because of the person in front, it was not visible! Being short, when you raise it like this, it is not seen. So I am asking. What responsibility do you bear in the Unification Church now? Are you an elder or a deacon? “I am an elder of Chuncheon Church.”

If you are an elder, you must raise your arm like this so it is seen, not raise it where it cannot be seen. With your body like this, and with the head of the person in front being tall, of course, it was not visible! “A separatist is sitting there who does not raise his hand. Let me find out by name who he is!”—so I named you. Are you an elder of Chuncheon Church? “Yes.” Then, when the teacher went to Chuncheon, you must have met me many times. “Yes, I saw you.” How many times have we met? “When you arrived in a Lincoln Continental, I was guarding the car.” Guarding the car is not really a position of supervisory responsibility! Even so, it is well.

A teacher's eye cannot be deceived. Having served all my life as the master of mass gatherings, doing this, I know which side will not listen to today's words and will cause trouble. Without knowing that, one cannot move the multitude.

If the people who could be heads of the four groups—east, west, south, and north—are moved, bow their heads and weep, then thousands and tens of thousands of people will become a sea of weeping. A teacher is a man who has such power.

When tens of thousands are divided by region into those who will oppose, those who will receive grace, and those who will simply remain, if only two of the three groups are won over, even tens of thousands break out into wailing.

A heavenly history is unfolded. Because I possess such something, possess such inner power that you do not know, there is no way for one whose heart has accepted Reverend Moon to deny him.

A Fearsome Group

There is nothing the teacher has not done. There are those I have sent as responsible for the underground missionaries of the Soviet Union and China. They abandoned their husbands, abandoned their fathers, and went.

Even now, there are underground missionaries in the Soviet Union, and of those who have come out into the open, it is not even one-third, not even half. They are still underground. Because I know the communists, I do so. Even now, I must send mission funds. Is it easy to send spies to Moscow and China and supply funds? If caught, that day is the last.

Young Jin, who was at the center of the three sons, passed away. Furthermore, the second from above died. That is Heung Jin. How many sons and daughters of the True Parents' family have gone to the spirit world?

When Heung Jin departed, the Seonghwa (승화; Holy Ascension) Ceremony was instituted. One must overcome death. When that son died, the one who killed him, the enemy, had to be made responsible for the burial. In Wonjeon (the original garden), such people had to dig the grave where beloved sons and daughters were buried.

How heartbroken was Reverend Moon, who knew this! Though the thousand-li journey be long, who must sweep away the mist and clouds that have settled upon this holy ground? There was only I.

Without sweeping it away, there could be no Seonghwa Ceremony. From the bottom of hell to the first-place throne of Heaven, one had to climb over the position of prince.

I hold such privileged sovereign authority.

If I promise that even if Kang Hyun Sil goes to hell, I will take responsibility, then I will go and open the gate of hell. I have the power to send a few who can become Lucifer's elder brother and Lucifer's father, to summon Kang Hyun Sil before me and register her in Heaven that very day.

Whoever, without merit, has tried to swallow the Unification Church whole has been unable to swallow it. Cannot swallow it. It gets stuck in the throat and they die. The Soviet Union tried to swallow it and perished; China tried to swallow it and perished; Japan tried to swallow it and perished; America tried to swallow it and is in trouble. Those have all tried to swallow it and become a problem. As Reverend Moon seeks to establish the royal authority of God's kingdom, is there any such thing as the royal authority of communism?

Even now, the teacher exercises; in old days, I did the horizontal bar. Do you know the horizontal bar? In fleeing into cornfields or maize fields, there is none above me. How much training I underwent! Going ten li, ordinary people fall behind by three or five li. Holding the hands like this, pressing and parting through, blocking the maize stalks from raking against the ribs, fleeing thus.

What kind of person is the one called the founder of the Unification Church? Knowing and yet not knowing. If needed, an absolutely needful person; if disliked, an absolutely loathed person—yet one who survived without dying in places of certain death. Kim Jin Mun, why is a young man so out of strength? “Leg! Hear my words! Take Reverend Moon's leg…. It is a living leg more than a prosthetic; it has come alive!”—and try running.

Teacher, with his leg broken and head shattered, having gone unconscious to the hospital and bled for half a month—what then? When blood comes out, one lives. One truly lives. It is yes or no; there is no middle ground. I am one who lived thus.

Among those here, who is there whom I have kissed and loved?

When you become spiritually attuned, with eyes open, you see all. You see what the teacher does. They see even the moment when, wearing flower rings and flower earrings, holding a wedding ceremony, the bride in bridal garb enters the groom's room on the first night.

Many have had such an experience. Even now, if asked to raise hands, many would raise them. It is not a lie. When longing for Teacher pierces to the bone, the meal will not go down. The meal will not go down; it gets stuck in the throat, and they weep. Only by wailing does the food come out. It cannot simply be pulled out. Only by weeping does it expel. To whose words does one who has had such experience listen? There is neither father nor husband nor father-in-law. They are that fearsome a group.

If you think, “Such-and-such women must have had such an experience,” and ask, it is unfailing. If the teacher passes by and a torn flap of his coat is hanging, if she grasps it to let it go, she must do so, weeping.

The Master she can meet once in a journey of a thousand years, the Master she can meet in the position of a wife, the Bridegroom who has taught her the place of her lost history—she must attend him in that place. Even if she is rejected a hundred times, what of her Lord? Even if she suffers such a thing a thousand and ten thousand times, weeping, she must receive him.

A Chick Does Not Come from an Infertile Egg

Having come married from Japan, not ten years but thirty years—the area beneath her pillow, never dry, must be wet from the tears shed for Teacher. Only after filling that place and changing to a new floor and a new pillow—what then? Resting on a pillow her mother-in-law has made, only if her parents permit her once more to receive a bridegroom can she go in marriage. Among the members of the Unification Church, is there anyone with such qualifications?

The second woman here—she would know what such words mean. Ask. I do not know. Have her be asked spiritually what experience she has had through such teaching. There is a secret only she knows.

Can I, knowing it, pretend not to know?

Pretending not to know is to raise her as a younger sister and to find a husband for the younger sister I love. Otherwise, the Bridegroom cannot be received. Since there is no one with this except those of the Unification Church, those of the Unification Church must be wedded to each other.

Among you, there is no one whom I have wedded to a non-member of the Unification Church. If the relations of a woman and a man who were so wedded are not good, that will not do. There was one who came to where I was running the fishing crew's living in Kodiak, Alaska, and said, “I have left my hometown and set out, so even if I die, I shall go to the boats and help Teacher. The destined path of my life is to become a ghost of the sea.”

In Alaska, ten years of suffering had passed; how many times must she have wanted to flee?

In Alaska, there was an upper factory and a lower factory; though years passed and she was at the upper factory, the teacher did not visit her even once, but went only to the lower.

So she felt: What does the teacher have to do with me?

Because you were needed for the training course of receiving the Bridegroom, you came here, but I had not come to train you and send you off in marriage. The time of the wedding ceremony had not come. The wedding ceremony cannot occur at any time at all.

So in the middle, she packed her bundle and left, and we boarded the same plane from Kodiak to Seattle, but she did not even greet me. Even though I knew well. She did not shed tears either.

People of the Unification Church, even when they have left the church and decades have passed, shed tears when meeting. Tears come first when they meet. The eyes are not steeped in venom. It is not, “I hold a heart wanting revenge.”

In Kodiak, even though there are many hens, there are hens with infertile eggs, but none with fertile eggs. These days, do you know that poultry sellers raise only hens, not roosters? Among the chickens raised, more than 80 percent are hens; there are no roosters. Eggs are laid daily, but they are infertile. They look like the same eggs, are laid by the same hen, but no matter how many thousands or tens of thousands she lays, not a single chick comes out.

Until now, women have engaged with countless men of the demimonde, but they have never conceived a fertile egg. Of infertile eggs, there have been plenty. Such ones could not go to Heaven. The egg laid by a rooster and a hen turning over together in love becomes a fertile egg, but a chick does not come out of the infertile egg of a hen that has not known a rooster. The same is true for human beings.

I have never written a single love letter. I wrote many love letters for others. I wrote many for my sisters and my friends, I say. Even more, those who could become the brides of my friends adored me, the one who had written the love letters, more. Even when such women pleaded that they would rather die than be married off, I am a man who was not captured by them. That is the astonishing thing.

There Is No Ceremony of Greater Value Than the Unification Church's

Our grandfather founded Osan School. The ancestral home of Osan School is our house. The Moons, wherever they went, were treated as if they were royal kin. As we entered the Joseon era, there was such a royal edict.

If the Moon clan, entering some village, came to starve to death, the village head, the county magistrate, and the provincial governor could not survive. There was such a document.

Recently, a secret book came out, and among the names of patriots therein were our grandfather and Grandfather Yoon Guk. Seeing it, I was startled. Among the secret documents of Korean history, it was the highest secret document, and there was our grandfather and our youngest grandfather, who was a pastor. Having seen it, I closed it and returned it.

If the descendants do not become as that document warrants, even the ancestors are caught up. The fiftieth hill of seven-times-seven (7 × 7 = 49) must be crossed; if not, the ancestors must come and carry the descendants over the hill. Among the living of that age's clan—be it the Moon clan or another—if one fails to cross the fiftieth hill and dies, the blessings of that soul must be prayed for. The living, too, must bear the burial cost, I say.

So, do you know that the rice cakes at a funeral house are large? The half-moon-shaped rice cakes (songpyeon) made at festive houses in Seoul are puff cakes. They are made like flowers, but they collapse with a puff.

Yet at funeral houses, the songpyeon must be one and a half to twice the normal size. They must be large in a half-moon shape. The crescent moon is shaped this way, but a half-moon is wider than a crescent. Since it is a half-moon, it is the half of a woman and a man.

What of a pair, a woman and a man, when they die? Though they lived as a pair, they cannot go to Heaven. With a parting feast, they wail. They wear hemp clothes; it is not white clothing. In our Unification Church, the sons and daughters put on white and prepare a place of Seonghwa and pray and escort them.

Indeed, if you do as the teacher says, you go to the heavenly kingdom. It is Seonghwa—Seonghwa Ceremony! Of the closing ceremonies of death, none is more valuable than the Unification Church's. Learn it. Unless you do as instructed, it will not work.

When the coffin is borne out, you do not weep. When the flower-coffin is borne out, you wear white and sound music. With samhyeon yukgak (three strings and six pipes), the entertainers must come and offer benediction.

It is not the samhyeon yukgak of mere entertainers. Today, the samhyeon yukgak of Ewha University or Yonsei University, or the foremost vocalists, must sing renowned pieces, even Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. When one of our Unification members goes, though it may seem like a beggar going, people like Beethoven come to escort him. Those who served as pastors come to escort him. Those who served as popes escorted him. Try dying. If it is a lie, come and take off my head, I say.

That group, joining, will not seek to take off the head of Reverend Moon, who holds the authority to liberate even the ancestors. There is not one such person.

Even if their heads numbered a thousand or ten thousand and fell, they would seek to make it so that not a cloud's shadow of worry remains upon Reverend Moon.

Animals That Become Sacrificial Offerings

Now, what animals become sacrificial offerings?

Not any animal can become a sacrifice. They are ruminating animals. That, too, Reverend Moon discovered. Among ruminating animals, there is the ox; what else? Does the horse ruminate? The donkey does not ruminate. A ruminating animal is the sheep.

Then what is the jet-black one? It is the goat (yeomso). Why is it called yeomso? “Yeom” refers to praying that no one drowns where water flows. The deep valley of the marrow is called yeomso. It is said that one who eats a black goat escapes hell. On Satan's side is the crow, which not even Satan can eat. But the goat, to save all who might drown in the so (water/place)—whether white or Black—becomes a sacrificial offering at the so and dies, I say. One can lead it out and let anyone catch it and divide the meat. Such is the goat.

On high peaks live the wild goats. Do you know wild goats? Their horns are this large. Even a bull, in a horn contest, cannot beat a wild goat. The bull's horns take years to grow, but theirs are present from birth. They come out from the womb, I say. They grow throughout life.

Such wild goats live on the peaks, and in spring, when they bear young, they descend, saying, “Hey, you tame goats! You are well-formed. We live in rocky fields and are nothing but bone, all skinny; do not regard us skinny ones lightly; come, let us fight!”—and they fight, and the tame goats cannot prevail. I do not know how strong they are.

They grow in rocky fields and graze in those regions. Even in winter, on slopes thawed by earth-warmth, sprouts come up. They graze on those. Animals that fall into traps in the crevices of cliffs—a thousand of them, all a thousand, fall—but those, if there is even a crevice, step on it and do not fall. If only the head passes through, the body, even the rib-bones, bend.

It is the same with infants. If only the head emerges, the shoulders and the rest of the body become narrow and burst forth all at once. Mothers, do you know that?

The hardest part is crossing the seventh part of the slope. I know all about the toils of mothers of infants. I know that, and I know the methods of treatment. In our village, when someone was dying while giving birth, even people from thirty li away came by car to ask me.

Even now, if asked such a thing, what do I say? “Whatever I say, will you do as I say?” I would say. There is nothing I cannot do to bring three generations of mothers under a single sword. Three generations: grandmother, mother, and one's own wife. Not three but five generations. Can one kill the five women of five generations with a single sword?

Do you know how greatly women have devoured men?

They devoured Adam, devoured Jesus, and then devoured the Returning Lord. Three-times-three is nine (3 × 3 = 9); three-times-nine is twenty-seven (3 × 9 = 27).

For twenty-seven years, they have seized the king's throne and ravaged and done every kind of evil, the marrow elements of Satan. Going to Satan's world to offer a sacrifice and beg forgiveness will not do. With the Communist Party, it will not do, I say.

The original text, the original treatise of the Communist Party, is laid out clearly. I know that original text. Even if you die a hundred times and revive, I do not believe—I say. Why? In crossing the hill, two cannot cross side by side. Even if three generations—grandfather, father, and son—go, only one crosses; who among the three shall die? Shall grandfather die, shall father die, shall I die?

Among the three, the father cannot tell the grandfather to die, the father cannot tell the son, and the grandfather cannot tell the grandson. Who must die? Grandfather, setting his grandson before him, says, “Hey, you must not die!”; the father also must not die; and one himself must not die.

Therefore, one who does not love three or four generations is not a person. They are treated as animals. Communism is so. They cannot cross by lining up. But on Heaven's side, one can line up and cross. By a single line, without dispute, they cross. To die, father stands before grandfather saying, “I shall go first,” and grandfather says, “No, before my son dies, I must go first! Before my grandson dies, the grandfather must go first!” The three do not say they will stand behind one another. Each tries to save the others.

The fourth-generation grandson—the three preceding generations must put him behind and save him. Therefore, even four generations live in one house. They live serving the great-grandfather. No one lives serving the fifth ancestor. Satan has occupied the thumb. He has occupied the bloodline.

Unless all that has been divided is resolved by the principle of heaven and earth, it cannot be resolved. Why is it that four generations live in one house, but five cannot live together? When the fifth generation lives together, as soon as that descendant is born, within forty days, the fifth ancestor goes somewhere.

The Source Does Not Change

The source does not change. So did an amoeba change into a monkey and become a human?

What of the formation of the universe?

Subject and object, by the bond of love, multiplied and went to find their place.

The universe is made up of thousands of spherical bodies; centering on this standing pillar, the species at thousands of levels differ. There is an upper string, a lower string, a right string, a front string—an entire world—and forgetting that world, how can an amoeba become a monkey?

Thousands of species of males and females grow, and these stages do not come willingly. This rises and, through a foundation of principle by which a single horizontality can be matched, gives birth. That offspring again must have a bond by which it can contact both above and below to go up.

Once gone up, it cannot come back down. Even if you breed amoebas for a hundred years or a thousand years, will a monkey come out? Even in ten thousand years, not a sparrow will come out.

Thousands of species' principles of love, piled up over thousands of stages and made into a pillar, centering on hundreds of thousands of species' seeds, three-stage principles linked—so the universe came into being and floats in the air; can an amoeba naturally become a monkey or a human? And, centering on the question of ownership, is labor alone all-powerful? It is a blatant lie. With machinery, we produce all we want.

Marx's value theory is a blatant lie. From before I was born, I knew and grew up. How do I know? Consider the eye. Why is hair attached here? If you advocate evolution, the eyebrows too should evolve.

What will the eyebrows evolve into?

Eyebrows do not last three weeks. In three weeks, how many times must one have a haircut? If once a week, three times must be cut; yet eyebrows uncut three times remain that length for ten thousand years.

The head grows, the rest grows, but why are the eyebrows not as long as the hair?

Have you thought of it? Why do eyebrows lie across like this? Instead of blocking like this, would it not be better if two eyebrows came together this way? It did not become so by itself. It came knowing all and adhered there. The hair, too, through its heat, is communicated and dispersed. When you sweat, there is a line on the forehead, so the sweat flows like this.

Centering on the face, why does all humanity have a line on the forehead that runs across, so sweat flows in every direction, behind these ears, down the spine? How can one say it became so by nature? What is “freedom” (自由)? The character “自” (“self”) with the character “由” (“from”) refers to floating on oil. It refers to “油” (oil).

When we say “son” (子息), the character “息” refers to a natural mind, an original-nature mind. That is the vertical relation, the father-son relation. Husband-wife relations are horizontal, so we speak of left and right. The husband-wife relation is called left-right. It should be right-left—why is it reversed? No one thinks of it. Only Reverend Moon.

The father-son relation is called above-below; up and down are clearly fixed. Left-right is a horizontal relation, and since the right is the head, it should be called right-left—how is it? The left should follow, yet the small have occupied the place of the great and try to do away with the great. Is there such a world or not?

Hoon Dok Education Must Begin Again in the Religious Sphere

So who are the four great figures of Western philosophy? Descartes, then Kant. What is Kant? “Critique of Pure Reason.” How could Kant speak of pure reason? To a fallen being, whose bloodline has been altered, who is like a son sold off—pure reason?

What is the reason? “Reason” is that which is most upright in mental posture, like God; and after “reason,” what? “Critique” Does “critique” mean that one knows or that one does not know? Critique of Pure Reason, Critique of Practical Reason, Critique of Judgment—what about them? Having judged, knowing all, there should be nothing to critique, I say. He fell flat.

Look here. I have a book in which they were brought and recorded. Here it is, “Messages of Philosophical Thinkers Sent from the Heavenly World.” The four great philosophers. Descartes, Kant, and then Hegel. The very saying “Hegel” means a faction split from the tip of the tongue. The words sound plausible, but it is a lie, I say.

How can affirmation (jeong) plus negation (ban) yield “jeong-ban-hap” (thesis-antithesis-synthesis)? Affirmation plus affirmation should yield the answer; the fact that an answer comes from “hap” (合; synthesis) means that the tongue tip has fallen into a corner. Hegel “split the tongue.” What of Nietzsche? “Ni” in Chinese means “you.” It means “you.” It means, “You yourself have died.” Religion, politics—those have died, I say.

Why so? Because there is no God, all have died, I say. Where God is, religion and politics remain; where God is not, they cannot remain, I say. Because Nietzsche could not meet the true God, the place where he lives is nothing but a nest. He has nowhere to go but to nests in trees—pigeon nests, oriole nests, I say.

So I called such people, the ones in the spirit world, and had them describe the reality and send it; the conclusion came forth after Mr. Sang Heon made an overall analysis. Because we have this, we can smash Western philosophy. Did they know the Fall? Did Kant know the Fall? Did he know that the bloodline had been altered? Descartes said, “I think, therefore I am”; he did not know the matter of the Fall, did not know that the bloodline was altered.

Centering on thousands of years, those who have died did not know; would they have known the Fall? They did not know that the bloodline was altered. Not knowing, however good what they said may sound, it is a lie. Having finished everything in Las Vegas and returned, how many days has it been? Holding a 21-day ceremony at Christmas, bearing the name of Jesus, I went to Las Vegas for the twentieth time and returned.

In Las Vegas, I again conducted Hoon Dok of the contents about Jesus, which the Teacher spoke in his youth, and that Hoon Dok education must be done again in the religious sphere. The whole must be put through Hoon Dok education. Even without a teacher, there is the textbook and teaching material capable of raising figures greater than the teacher.

Now, even if I depart, our families must broadcast this through broadcasting stations every day for three years, morning, noon, and evening. With broadcasting stations of the world in every direction, since the time zones differ, it is to be broadcast three times a day. Morning broadcast, noon broadcast, evening broadcast—even a dawn broadcast—four broadcasts must continue.

The broadcasting of a nation of ten thousand years must be so. If four major broadcasting stations are centering on the east, west, south, and north of a nation, the eastern broadcast covers the east, the western covers the west, and the southern covers the south.

Four broadcasts, with the center, five broadcasts. Including the comprehensive pillar broadcast, broadcasting must continue eternally from five places.

So, whether you go off to urinate, sleep, fall ill and enter a hospital in twenty-four hours, one cannot miss the words of the broadcast's textbook and teaching material. Day and night you listen; day and night you feel. And when two friends meet and ask what today's Hoon Dok Hae word is, the eastern person and the western person will differ.

Centering on the central headquarters' word, what was divided into east, west, south, and north shifts. East, north—it rotates so that the whole is the same. From the lands of the world, broadcasting is made to God's sons and daughters, and centering on the center, through fourfold extended broadcasting, the matters of one's destined fortune are resolved.

If there is a destined fortune, the method is to make one.

One Who Becomes Wholly Unified with the Textbook and Teaching Material Through Omniscient Mastery

Having done this, those whose left hand has gone up, raise your hands. When a beloved wife and husband grip each other, the man must support the woman's lower back, the most slender part. He must not go down. Then the woman, the man being tall, had put her head beneath his neck and looked out from there; now she must rise. Climbing, she must look out beyond, at east, west, south, and north.

So she encircles the neck and turns. Looking back, she must become a woman who can command the royal ground of Satan's world.

So, looking at it horizontally, the woman must now hang upon the man's neck, and what? If the two, joyful, dance and turn together, then before a single vertical pillar, a horizontal four-direction circle is made, and the dancing ground of pure heart, pure blood, pure love, like a quiet sea, must be made. Otherwise, God cannot come and live together with us, singing and dancing; saints and sages cannot, in unity vertically and totally, sing and dance.

(Drinking tea.) I must drink this and go. Only thus is one healthy. What is the ancestor of life? It is the medicine that energizes the sperm. Deer antler and ginseng. Then it is made into a medicine of combined herbs. It is like honey. The flavor is strange. Like omija (schisandra berry).

At first, the taste is strange and surprising, but after one taste, when you close your mouth, a sweet flavor gradually arises. There is a subtle flavor. Making this, I shall sell it dear. Unless one pays more than seven times the market price, I shall not make it.

Reverend Moon of the Unification Church takes total responsibility, strips off, and, without killing, having set them upright, changes their garments to make a liberated and released kingdom of heaven where God and Parents of earth and heaven may live together. Because I have taken on the responsibility of enabling them to live in a world without walls, what a hard responsibility this Father must accomplish! It is unconditional obedience.

Unconditional faith, unconditional love, unconditional obedience. This has already passed examination and been publicly recognized by True Parents, and God permitted the making of the textbook and teaching material, and they were made in proxy; therefore, to one who has become wholly unified with that textbook and teaching material with omniscient mastery, the hell of the formless substantial world and the substantial world of earth and heaven shall all disappear.

It is the world that is the expansion of one family. It is the expansion of the family. Without this, it will not do. There is no boundary line of a nation. There is no boundary line between grandfather and father, between father and son, or even between Cain and Abel among sons—the boundary lines have all vanished, so we cannot but be one great family without boundary lines, one homeland, and a kingdom serving one King. Truly!

So, all of you are brothers. If the brothers of five colors have come, the brothers of five colors are made to exchange in marriage. The day one refuses, he is driven out.

When the Soviet Union and China, the Soviet Union and America all know the Principle, within a week, the exchange marriage will be completed. If the standard of living can be settled and households set up, it ends within a week.

The teacher used to say Namu Amitabul as “Na-ke-mu-a.” The character “或” (“perhaps”) within “國” (“nation”) means a nation that is thought of casually, “this way or that.” Reversed, it is na-ke-mu-a.

One must dig out the “I” (na) and become a prince of service in the place of selflessness (mu-a) to become a citizen of the kingdom of heaven. Na-ke-mu-a is a word of value ten million times greater than Namu Amitabul.

“Whatever way”—that is the secret of escape. Reversing “whatever way” (amu-keh-na), it tells one to dig out the “I” and enter the place of selflessness. Then, becoming a person of the original creation, one enters the kingdom of heaven.
