At the time of the Fall, one fell away from here (He drew a diagram of longitude and latitude on the blackboard), so in the age of Restoration one must come up in the opposite direction.
That is why at all times this is the position of Adam and Eve; this, speaking in Christian terms, is the thought of the Second Advent, and this is taking the direction as bridegroom and bride and, centering upon one original man or one original woman, forming a family and, passing through the people-level form and the national form that can be connected with that family, holding a ceremony of indemnity that turns this upside down.
The Reason Han Must Be Resolved, and Those Whose Han Must Be Resolved
For that, how must one do?
To return, God must not have han; that is what I mean. Though God has carried out the history of Restoration toward us fallen humanity, in the position of God, who has been sorrowful until now, one cannot return; that is what I mean. That is why one must hold a ceremony of Restoration that resolves His han for Him.
Again, until now one has passed through three ages, from the age of Adam through the age of Jesus to the age of the Second Advent; now the True Parents themselves, who can stand in the position of parents, must not have han; that is what I mean. One must not have han toward the enemy or toward this earth. One must resolve all this and cross over; that is what I mean. And next, how must one do? Only when this han of the parents is resolved is God’s han in the end resolved.
Therefore, if God’s han would be resolved, the Parents’ han must be resolved. Only when the True Parents come forth and can resolve all their han is God’s han resolved too; that is what I mean. Only after resolving God’s han and resolving the Parents’ han can one resolve all the han of the tribe, or the people, or the nation, or the world. It becomes like this.
The Unification Church, Which Must Connect the Spiritual Christian Sphere to the Physical Christian Sphere
Then what ceremony must one representatively hold today?
The history of Restoration until now is a history that, from the day Cain and Abel were separated, cultivated worldwide the foundation upon which the Messiah, that is, the Parents, could come. Just as in the historical form of growing from the age of infancy through the age of boyhood, the age of youth, and the age of maturity, in the age of Restoration too one has widened that road by sacrificing countless Abels. And so that must be formed as far as the national standard. Those Parents, that is, to say, again, the One who becomes the Messiah, must appear as a representative being centering upon the national standard.
Centering upon this standard, what expanded one foundation nationally in the Abel history was the nation of Israel and Judaism. Centering upon the foundation of Judaism and the nation of Israel, the One who came to this earth in order to hold one sovereignty is the Messiah, that is, Jesus. Yet because Jesus died, what came forth, gathering things up a second time, is Christianity. Yet Christianity is spiritual only. Spirit and body are not equipped; that is what I mean.
That is why today the problem for our Unification Church is how to connect the spiritual Christian sphere within the physical Christian sphere. Doing this work is the Teacher’s mission until now. So in the Republic of Korea, from 1970 to 1972, centering upon the spiritual standard, we came to stand in a leading position in the Republic of Korea.
What we did during the three-year course from 1972 to 1974 was to stand in the position of the mainstream of the Republic of Korea and present the direction of all the national fortune, and connect that standard spiritually to this worldwide Christianity.
One must connect the whole form of the Christianity of the spiritual world and connect this again to a physical national standard. Because Jesus died centering upon the physical national standard, in the Republic of Korea, having entered 1975, one must connect this standard as with the Israelite form of a physical national standard; that is what I mean.
Therefore, the banquet in January, or the wedding ceremony in February, or again the International One World Crusade, having entered April—in such a short period one mobilizes the complete. At the time of the banquet, the Teacher must be revealed before these people, before many distinguished people; that is what I mean. And next, our families, the Blessed Families, must be revealed before the world; that is what I mean.
So our joint wedding comes to be known to the world; that is what I mean. And next, the people of our Unification Church must be revealed before the people of the world; that is what I mean. Because there is such a historical period of indemnity, having entered this year, up to this April—centering upon the lunar calendar, it goes over into May of the solar calendar, but until this April ends, it is a period in which one must completely indemnify all this; that is what I mean.
Because such a time has at last come, the Teacher has appeared in the Republic of Korea for the first time in his life. In appearing before the nation, one must appear holding authority; that is what I mean. And next we revealed our families before the nation and the whole world, and next we have done until now this work of revealing the members of our Unification Church of the whole world. One must move and work in this nationwide way, centering upon the entire national standard; that is what I mean. That is God’s Will; that is what I mean.
So, what phenomenon unfolds through our revival rally this time is that the entire nation and people have come to concentrate their attention upon us. This becomes one great event in history.
Then, seeing centering upon Judaism in Jesus’ time, Judaism and Rome in the end became one with the sovereign at that time and killed Jesus; but now that age has changed and must be the opposite; that is what I mean. The Unification Church and our Republic of Korea must become one as a whole. Now Christianity is opposing. That such a phenomenon as this unfolds says that it is a time when the principled standards in the historical age of restoration through indemnity accord and cross over.
That is why the police themselves do not know why they are helping; that is what I mean. Again, what they cannot help but do is that, because one has driven in the world fortune from every nation of the world, if one does not receive them at the national standard, it is caught by a condition; that is what I mean.
Again, even looking at the planar political aspect of the earthly world, if these people of twenty-five nations come in here and are struck or suffer harm, this becomes a global political problem; that is what I mean. Because it at once becomes a condition for accusing the nation through the embassies, one has come to stand in such a position that one cannot but welcome them in any case.
In this way and that, the fact that the whole Republic of Korea guides us and the police all protect us and the whole stands on our side and moves symbolizes, in the principle of restoration through indemnity, that one is completely integrating the national standard centering upon spirit and body and crossing over.
The Significance and Method of the Total Resolution of the Han Ceremony
Today, seen centering upon this Association, is the twenty-first anniversary of the founding of the Association, and it is the last period of the Second Seven-Year Course. That is because it began in April. Again, setting the Teacher’s own generation before us, it is a time that crosses thirty years; that is what I mean.
Inasmuch as it is such an age, one cannot but hold a ceremony of indemnity of the resolution of han of this entire thing; that is what I mean. When one holds this ceremony, first of all, one must hold a ceremony of resolution of han for God, a ceremony of resolution of han. And next, what is it?
One must hold a ceremony of resolution of han for the True Parents. And next, what is it? Today is said to be Mrs. Choi’s sixtieth-year return, and what the word for the sixtieth-year return means is returning; that is what I mean. To say it again, it means returning in restoration. Mrs. Choi’s sixtieth-year return is a sixtieth-year return, but this also becomes such a ceremony in which, centering upon Mrs Choi, standing in a position like one mother as a true woman of the fallen world, one indemnifies everything of the new history of Restoration; that is what I mean.
Now, centering upon Mrs. Choi, the whole becomes different; that is what I mean. The entire fallen world until now, the entire spiritual world, must be indemnified by centering upon Mrs. Choi; that is what I mean. It is not indemnifying centering upon the original parents. Centering upon good, completed parents in the original unfallen world, a condition of the Fall is not established.
Of course the Teacher has cultivated everything, but in the end, because the woman made the mistake, centering upon such a condition, one must drive all this together at once and indemnify it; that is what I mean.
For that, how must one do?
In completely ascending and crossing the hill, Mrs. Choi does not cross alone. Here one must rally the countless religions until now: Christianity, and next Islam, or Buddhism, Confucianism, the whole.
And next, in the historical ages until now, there were good monarchs (선군, 善君) and there were loyal subjects. Among the loyal subjects there were civil officials, and there were military officials. Centering upon each nation, the good monarchs and loyal subjects all become one and cross over; that is what I mean.
And the next one must rally the people who, in the historical ages, did not believe in religion until now but stood in a conscientious position. People to whom Heaven bore witness but who did not attend God’s Will….
What these are are philosophers, people of a philosophical or conscientious line. There are such kinds of people; that is what I mean. One must rally all such kinds of people; that is what I mean. And next, the Cain-type world, that is, the Cain-type world connected from Lucifer, from Judas Iscariot, from the Emperor Nero down to the present communist world—joining all of these, one opens a road of conditions of indemnity.
Opening a road by which one can save even the communists entirely, binding them together, one must hold such a ceremony in which, on this day today, all are made to submit, in which all say they will now follow the heavenly order, and make them all submit.
So here one must connect centering upon Mrs. Choi, and resolve all han. Under such a foundation, the liberation of the Parents and the liberation of God unfold.
Now a table has been set; what does that table mean? In our Unification Church’s coming forth until now, there are spirits who died while believing in our Unification Church; that is what I mean.
One must resolve the han of such Unification Church members too; that is what I mean. Here there is our Hee Jin too, and there is Hye Jin too, and there are those who went before; that is what I mean.
Again, from the President of the Association to the people who died while believing in the Unification Church, at the same time as resolving their han spiritually, one must resolve han upon the earth too; that is what I mean. There are many people who, while believing in the Unification Church, became this and that; that is what I mean. One must connect even with those people and indemnify them all; that is what I mean.
Then now, setting the table: if here is God, then next here will be Christianity centering upon Jesus. Next will be religious people who died while believing in religion and philosophers and conscientious people, and next will be monarchs and good monarchs and loyal subjects, and next it becomes the Cain-type world. All go in; that is what I mean.
Originally the tables ought to be set out, dividing east, west, south, and north. There is the angelic world too…. One must resolve the han of the angelic world too; that is what I mean.
Let the religious people centering upon Christianity be to the east, and the angelic world to the west, and next to the south the good monarchs and patriotic martyrs, and to the north the Cain-type satanic world; thus, one must resolve han. Therefore, what day today is is the day of total resolution of han, total resolution of han. It is the day of holding the ceremony of total resolution of han in history.
Through this day coming forth one crosses over; that is what I mean. So from now on the heavenly law will be established.
Until now, countless religions beginning with Christianity have followed forth without knowing this road, but by holding such a ceremony of transition, hereafter the law is settled centering upon the Unification Church.
If One Were to Cultivate a Worldwide Foundation, One Must Fight the Communists and Be Victorious
In the spirit world too, one can no longer act carelessly; that is what I mean. Until now, even the evil spirits applied the law of indemnity as they pleased and did it, but now it does not become so; that is what I mean.
Following the law, one can set up conditions of indemnity through those relative earthly people who correspond to one’s own line and one’s own present conscientious standard. That does not become an overstepping of authority (월권, 越權); that is what I mean. Through this, order comes to be established; that is what I mean. Do you understand? From now on, the enactment of the constitution of the heavenly kingdom will begin to come forth.
Now, if only three years pass, the Teacher must, in America, which represents the worldwide democratic world, connect even the physical foundation cultivated in Korea to the democratic world during three years; that is what I mean. On the day this is finished, the whole world will indeed enter an age in which God can directly intervene.
If it becomes so, they will not be able to oppose the Unification Church; that is what I mean. There will be people who, while opposing, die of heart failure, and people who die while sleeping, and there will be every sort of person; that is what I mean.
In the old days, the evil spirits (악영, 惡靈) carried on every sort of play to have dominion over the evil sphere of this earth. Just as they gave medicine and gave disease, now I see that one enters a time when the good side can punish from a one-sided aspect.
This period is until 1977, 1978; that is what I mean. Until one crosses beyond this period, we must cultivate a substantial national foundation in America. Just as today the Republic of Korea supports us, if only the environment becomes such that America comes forth and can support the whole, the world will completely cross over within the Will. At the national standard, it has become like this, but if one were to cultivate a worldwide foundation, one must fight the communists; that is what I mean.
So this time too all the fortune is set face-to-face between the communists and us; that is what I mean. The Republic of Korea too is at present set face to face with North Korea, and of course President Park is at present standing at the head here, but in the end he is not one with us, that is what I mean.
In Japan too, likewise, they are set face-to-face. So that one came to fight with Ishihara centering upon Minobe is likewise for that reason, and in America too at present the communists and we are fighting; that is what I mean.
Therefore, eventually, the problem is how, in these three years, one pushes over the vicious counterattack of the communists and, crossing beyond the sphere (권, 圈) the communists are encircling, draws America in to Heaven’s side. You must know that this remains in the three-year course hereafter. If only such a standard comes about; God’s Will comes to be applied anywhere in the world.
Now Is the Time to Advance to the Worldwide Stage Centering Upon the Spiritual and Physical Standard of Indemnity
If one looks at the national standard, the history of Restoration until now is a vertical history. That is why, if one looks at the present national standard, the nation at last becomes a base that can hold one form and go to the world. Do you understand? Because until now this carried on the play of coming up; if one failed while coming up, one fell; that is what I mean. If one falls, one must re-indemnify as far as the very bottom.
Therefore, Christianity came forth, re-indemnifying what Judaism did wrong.
Likewise, what Christianity set up only as a spiritual standard we indemnify as far as the physical standard, and centering upon this day today we seek to cross beyond the national standard. One must know that today is such an astonishing day. From now on, centering upon this starting point, it becomes a time when one can go to the world; that is what I mean.
Just as Christianity set out under a worldwide foundation centering upon Jesus’ 120 disciples, today our Unification Church too, from here, centering upon 120 nations, sends out missionaries three by three. Centering upon April of this year, at the latest by the middle of May, they will all go out; that is what I mean.
In order to carry on the operation of spreading throughout the whole world what formed a Four Position Foundation, like the three disciples centering upon Jesus, one must open the road of mission to a hundred and twenty nations this year.
Only then is a foundation cultivated in which, from now on, the foundation centered upon the national standard and the horizontal foundation of the world create a relative relationship so that all spirits (영, 靈) can return and cooperate with the world; that is what I mean. Therefore, without a national standard, it will not do; that is what I mean.
Only by indemnifying such things comprehensively here does it become a foundation in which all spirits can now freely be active, taking the entire earth as their stage of activity; that is what I mean. Do you understand what I mean? (“Yes.”)
