(Beginning of Hoon Dok reading of the message titled “Let Us Not Lose the Resolve That Faces Heaven” from Volume 4 of the Collected Sermons of Reverend Sun Myung Moon; “…we know that we must arm ourselves with the truth and defend the will of the Father, and we know that to unfold the will of goodness that the Father desires we must offer up all that is ours and fight; therefore, please permit our mind and body to be mobilized, and please permit the saints scattered upon this earth and the heavenly armies and heavenly hosts of Heaven to be mobilized! And please permit the day on which we can return glory to You, Father, to come quickly. Father, this we earnestly beg and desire.”)
We Must Carry Out an Education That Can Leave Only Heaven
This Word must be entered into Christianity again and conveyed. For twenty years, it was when I spoke of Christianity and of Jesus. Christianity does not know Jesus well. Because the teacher spoke, setting forth both the inner and the outer content, Christianity opposed and regarded our church as the church of the enemy. Because this is the time when Abel must save Cain, once more, with the whole inter-religious sphere, this work must be begun.
We have a headquarters of the Inter-Denominational Federation, do we not? “Yes.” Then why are lectures not being given? Why are Principle lectures not being continued? Principle lectures must be given. Not other things — give Principle lectures. Now, beginning with the Treatise on the Substance, full-scale inter-religious education must be started.
From a position of having no religion and no nation, an education that can leave only Heaven must be carried out. With the textbook at home, mother and father must do more than the teacher did to educate you.
If the teacher were to go to the spirit world, what then?
Going to the spirit world is not the same as disappearing. Through the teacher's words, the textbook, and texts centering on God have been made. They are not President Moon's. You must live by them. Because all that the teacher poured devotion into across his lifetime is connected within these words, the spirit world cooperates, and the spirit world is with us.
Now the world is different from before. Before, it was the time of fighting with Satan, but now the satanic world and the nation have fundamentally changed. That is because of the autobiography.
Every Blessed Family — whatever family — is to buy 430 copies and distribute them to their kin. Then, going to the houses to which they have been distributed, one must educate by Hoon Dok Hae.
This Hoon Dok Hae Word must be continued for twenty-four hours. Why? Habit does not change instantly. The habit of a lifetime does not vanish merely because one has labored for ten years. You do not know how vicious the root of the fallen nature is. The bloodline of Satan is connected — is it easy to change that? I think that even if you labored your whole lifetime, it would not change.
Do not think that the teacher must meet with you. Do not think that the teacher must provide all the money. Now the world must become your world, your nation, your kin. For that reason, you must go beyond the nation, beyond the denomination. When the Unification Church comes out, everything will disappear. Only this textbook and text will remain. Do you understand?
True Parents Have Not Been Lost
Today is the last day. By the solar calendar, it is the last day of January, and tomorrow is the first of February. From February, the solar calendar disappears, and we enter the lunar calendar. The 13th is the first by the lunar calendar, is it not? “It is the 14th.” From the dawn of the 13th. Because the 31st intervenes, February too must be set as the 14th. If we say the 13th, that is an odd number.
So the teacher's birthday is the 19th, but it becomes the 20th. The 19th is an odd number. It does not divide into two. For that reason, it is adjusted and observed. Do you all know such things? What odd numbers are, and what paired numbers are.
Satan has only one road to walk. He cannot cross beyond the ninth pass.
How is he to enter the gate of Heaven?
He passes through Satan's gate and enters the gate of Heaven — there are two gates, not one. So one must cross over three positions at a time. Even Satan, who must cross alone, is caught at nine. Why? At number ten, when the man stands on the right, the woman must follow him. Following in, she cannot enter just so. Attending True Parents and God, the three must enter together.
Because of the Fall, the bloodline was changed. By that, what came into being? Satan's bloodline came into being. The bloodline of Adam and Eve disappeared. The two cannot enter. The two cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven side by side.
Originally, by the ideal of creation, had Adam and Eve not fallen, they were to have entered into attending God and True Parents.
The Korean people attend God. There have been no such people in history — and because of whom did it come out so? Because of True Parents. True Parents have not been lost. Where there is no horizontal, no horizontal plane on the ground, the vertical cannot exist. Then, is the horizontal needed because of the vertical, or is the vertical needed because of the horizontal?
Human beings are made to stand. Standing, they cannot stand upon the vertical. They stand upon the horizontal.
For that reason, we say “vertical-horizontal” (종횡); we do not say “horizontal-vertical.” In the beginning, is the horizontal first or the vertical? Answer! You all live without knowing this.
From the horizontal, above is the man and below is the woman. Through what is laid out, it has come to be this way. By the very fact of the vertical (縱), the below came into being. Then which is first? Because the vertical is first, there is no expression “horizontal-vertical.” It is “vertical-horizontal.”
Do we say “night and day” or “day and night”?
We say “night and day.” That is the natural order. There is no contradiction, no discord — wherever you look in the four directions of east, west, south, and north, it accords with reason.
For that reason, the Bible says, “And there was evening, and there was morning — the first day.” The day becomes evening, becomes night, and becomes morning. So there is no sun.
When evening comes and morning comes and the sun rises, the shadow comes into being. When there is no sun, there is no shadow. When the sun rises, it must rise from this side and go to a high place. Only upon the three points of one, two, and three is there a horizontal — upon two points, there is nothing. A single line is the connection of two points. The word “vertical” is not two points.
Centering on this boundary line, what is above is the man and what is below is the woman, and the man and the woman are not eternally interchanged. If born a woman, one is a woman eternally.
If a being called a woman, asserting that she will rise above, enters the family and looks down on her grandfather, looks down on her father, looks down on her husband, and looks down on her sons and daughters, what comes to be? Such a woman disappears. Up to now, we have lived not knowing this.
From the horizontal, the woman is below. Centering on the below, the woman is, as it were, inverted. Having become so, she is deep. The concave is the woman. What is the man? Convex.
If the woman stands up, can the man also stand?
Eternally impossible. For that reason, in Korea, it is said, “If the hen crows, the household perishes.” The root is lost. Ancestors, descendants, the clan — all are lost.
Centering on the middle, an upper hemisphere and a lower hemisphere come into being. Setting it up, centering on this, a right side and a left side come into being. The middle is “center.” It is upper, middle, and lower. When we say “upper and lower,” the “middle” must be there.
Whether woman or man, once gone up, that is “upper” — is it not so? No. Because the woman is concave, she is deep, and the man is on this line. Centering on a straight line, the character for “ten/cross” (十) is drawn here. The top of the cross is the Father, the bottom is the Son, the man is on the right, the woman is on the left, and the elder brother is at forty-five degrees in front. Number-order comes into being.
The Composition of Form Begins from the Number Three
Then, is the East first or the West first?
“The East is first.” Why is the East first? “Because the sun rises in the East.” The sun is the center. Do you know what character the character “sun/day” (日) was made from? It is a round moon. Centering on the light of the round moon, what was put here? A line was drawn. They are the two eyes. The middle has been hollowed out, and so the character “sun/day” was made. The character “sun/day” came about so.
If, centering on the sun, you look at the light — what about the sunlight? Even the moon has a moon halo, does it not? There is a sun halo, but is there also a star halo? Answer! In the dark of night, if seen from afar, even a firefly has a halo. It is doubled. Therefore, the existing thing must, without showing forth its substance, its original form, vanish.
For that reason, to become one before God, what must be done? Resembling God, doing it centering on the halo — this is two.
If God alone existed and there were no halo, what would come about?
Even God would disappear. If the substance disappears, what becomes of it? Where there is the sun, there is a halo; where there is the moon, there is a moon halo; where there is a star, there is a star halo. Even the firefly, when looked at in the dark, has a halo.
The being called “I” — where does it wish to be?
The man must go above. Connecting two points is called a line, and connecting two points, if the same is divided, it becomes one, two, or three. High and low come into being. For that reason, harmony — the composition of three-dimensional form — comes about from the number three. From two points, creation is eternally impossible. It does not multiply. People do not know this principle.
When children go to school, they think the school is the whole. The school, too, should be a boys' school or a girls' school — but in a position in which, from infancy, they have been born twins and the two have not separated, neither man nor woman comes into being. When one perfects as a man and perfects as a woman, anywhere it is the relation of upper and lower; there is no horizontal relation.
If you call it the line of two points and there are only two, the vertical disappears and only the horizontal exists.
Then, centering on the family, does the father become the absolute?
It is not that son and father join and become absolute; it becomes “absolute authority” (절대권). The character “right/authority” (權), if reduced, is the cross (十) and the character “person” (人); in its original form, after that, there are two plants. The “grass radical” (艹) speaks of vegetation; below it, the two “mouths” (口口) speak of male and female; the character “bird” (隹) speaks of flying away.
If one flies like this, where must one go?
Fly high, fly far. Vertical-horizontal. “Flying high” speaks of the vertical; “flying far” speaks of the horizontal. Then is the high first, or the low first?
Does water rise from below, or does it come down from above to the low?
It comes down from above. Does the sun also come down from morning toward evening, or does it rise from evening toward morning? It comes down from morning toward evening.
Then, which is first? Where is the night?
Night is the left; day is the right. Was the night first, or the sun first? Which would have been first? You have lived without knowing anything. The absolute cannot, by any rule, come about alone. How can the absolute exist alone? It is a contradiction. There must be a support upon which the absolute can stand.
For example, if, having gone above, it becomes absolute, then three become one and come to the center to be absolute; one cannot stay at the top, nor at the bottom, nor on the right, nor on the left.
If the absolute is the joining of three, that can only be the central number. The whole begins to exist and to set out only from the center. The upper alone cannot become absolute.
Love Is the Central Point
If there is an absolute, there must be a shadow.
If there is the sun, there must be a sun halo. Do you understand? Even the night must have a night halo. The night of the night — there is hell. Pictographs speak of the beings that compose three-dimensionality. If pictographs, there must be the upper, there must be the middle, and there must be the lower.
The “absolute” is so called from drawing out the three points — upper, middle, lower; without the three points, there is no absolute. Even with “right and left,” the center must be great. For that reason, while moving, it grows. Why does it grow? Because something is constantly being added, it grows.
Then what about what is called the line connecting two points? Centering on two points, there is no such word as “motion.” How could east and west, centering on what, begin, and in what way? Between husband and wife, is the man first, or the woman first?
What was it like in the old days?
In the Japanese colonial period, when one married, the son was up to twelve and the daughter up to sixteen. One married an elder sister about four years older or a younger sibling four years younger. Why? Because we say “night and day,” the woman was first. When we say “man and woman,” the man is first.
Outwardly, man and woman appear the same — what is different?
One thing is different. One is concave, one is convex. Where does the concave go? She cannot stand on the left as she pleases. The convex must come and stand on the right. People live without knowing this. Because they live not knowing, the world has become preposterous and a hopeless mess.
Centering on the family of the mother and father and the family of the son and daughter, it must steadily grow. The individual body and mind must grow, and then, centering on the husband-wife pair, it doubles. Then four numbers are needed. The Four Position Foundation — there must be pillars of east, west, south, and north before this crossbar can be set up to make a fence. The fence is not horizontal.
The world of space, the form of three-dimensionality, is the position of three or more points. Even among the three points, if there is the east, there must be the west. For that reason, it is not east-south-north-west. East is morning; the place where the sun sets is the west. Then, while the sun sets, where does it go? It does not go north; it must go south. Having gone south, where does it go? Having gone north, where does it go? Connecting back to the east, it draws a figure eight.
East-west-south-north — if this goes from north to west, it does not form a figure eight.
So do you know the expression “the lament of the figure eight upon the four pillars”? One cannot do away with the figure eight by knocking with the hand. One may issue the command of the lament, or one may not.
The real beginning is from the pitch-dark. Sunlight shines into that pitch-dark. The pitch-black of night is the night of the halo. Just as night has a moon halo, even the night has a “twice-night” (재밤).
Then why is it “twice-night”? It means there is a second night. It speaks of duality. There are two eyes. If this side is 1.0, the other side must also follow at 1.0. When it does not follow and the 1.0 is off, it breaks down and an accident occurs.
The Terminal Point
Then what is the Fall? Having only one eye, only the eye of Satan. Not knowing the goal, the motivation, and the purpose of God that can be seen with two eyes.
Because there is no eye, because one looks with one eye, one says, “Since I am the center of east, west, south, and north, I will do as I please.” The fallen human being says, “I am the master of heaven and earth.” It is so because he does not know his counterpart.
Then what is it that can bind vertical and horizontal? One must know the subject that can be higher than the horizontal and come down united from above. Going up united from below will not do. Is the man above, or is the woman above? The halo cannot become the substantial moon. To the very end, the woman is below; she cannot rise above. How can she rise?
How does the right go to the left?
How can it be permissible that the left goes to the right?
It is possible only by the absolute love of living for the sake of the other. That is theoretical. Why does love grasp the motive of all existence as a whole and even the right of its end? That is the central point. Are the teacher's words correct or not? Answer! “They are correct.”
For a woman to safeguard her identity, she must go and stand on the man's left, must go and stand behind the man, and must then go, centering on the parents, into a place of servitude. Do you know that the daughter-in-law enters as a servant of that household? Without knowing that, one cannot pass that road.
For me to become a vertical parent, I must regard my father-in-law and mother-in-law as greater than myself in horizontal value — only then, from the lowest love, can I enter even into the midst where, at the very top, grandfather and grandmother sleep together.
So even when grandsons and granddaughters come, they receive them, saying, “Oh, this is good.” The heavenly principle is so.
Without passing through the start and origin of existence and finding and setting in place the position, the order of heaven and earth becomes as it pleases. We, Korean people, have come through the formal process of attending God in our living. Wonhyeong Ijeong (元亨利貞) is the formal way in which heaven and earth move.
The saying “Wonhyeong Ijeong is the constancy of the heavenly way” means that this is the appearance and the constancy by which Heaven's road always proceeds; and as for “Inui Yeji (仁義禮智) is the framework of human nature” — what is this?
What is meant by the rules of propriety for human beings?
Even the animal world has jeong (sensibility, feeling). Say, “Jeong of things (物情)!” “Jeong of things!” One who does not know the jeong of things does not, even going to the market, understand the flow from morning to evening.
One must be able to see through the jeong of things. Even animals gather, give and take, exchange, and move to a place of greater value. For that reason, the jeong of things can move, and above the jeong of things is the jeong of people.
Finally, if at the tail of that jeong of people one can sweep up the marketplaces, burn them, and apply what remains of the ashes, then the road of life of the jeong of things exists. Is that right? People do not know the jeong of things. If the moon, there must be a moon halo.
So with the stars, and even the firefly — when it twinkles in the pitch-black twice-night, there is a core, there is a mind, there is a body. It does not come and go as it pleases. Because there is a field of mind, even with the firefly, the female tries to find the male's house, and the male tries to find the female's house.
What flies into a place not knowing anything is the bat — the bat. The rat lives going back and forth through holes, but the bat flies — why does it bear the name “rat”? It is like a rat, but it flies. A rat with a different spirit is called a bat. Because it moves to overcome the night, in the twice-night, without an antenna, male and female meet and bear young. That is astonishing. It is an unknown realm of mystery that the scientific civilization of the twentieth century cannot measure.
Do you know that the bat's droppings are the king of all fertilizers for all plant cultivation?
Worms attach themselves there and grow by sucking up that nourishment.
Without the Jeong of Things and the Jeong of People, the Jeong of Heaven Also Disappears
There is the Grand Canyon. What does “grand” mean?
It means the highest. There is MGM. What does the M of MGM mean? It refers to the mother. The MGM of the mother's secret realm — what becomes the MGM of a woman's secret? It is the concave, a small concave. Wow—even the angels in heaven and even God wish to enter and live in that concave.
MGM refers to women, to the mother's womb. M is “mother”; G is “grand.” It speaks of the secret realm. The mysterious mother. From there, ancestors of myriad forms diverge. Even by one minute, one second of difference, the ancestors diverge. The roots of individual truth-bodies cannot but be different in myriad forms.
What is the root of the creation of the universe?
There is the bearing of fruit setting out from the jeong of human beings, there is the bearing of fruit in the jeong of things of matter, and there is the bearing of fruit in the jeong of heaven and the heart (심정). These, without the foundation of the jeong of things and the foundation of the jeong of people, vanish. If there is no halo, they vanish.
The foundation of the jeong of people becomes the halo. The fundamental jeong is the foundation of the heart (심정).
If there is a visible jeong and an invisible heart (심정), that is like the secret Grand Canyon. In the great cosmos, the canyon of the secret realm — the place where God can rest — is one and only one. In the unseen, there is an absolute outpost of the secret realm.
The traditional thought of the Soviet Union is the Christianity of the East. Did the Christianity of the West win, or did the Christianity of the East win? What is the WCC (World Council of Churches)? It is “World Church.” The C refers to “Church.” The capital of the Soviet Union is Moscow. Moseuk refers to passing through the middle of clouds. It is the clouds. An ambiguous cloud. “Moscow — go and see it!” There is no house, no nation, no place to live. The Soviet Union had to perish.
Through whom did the Tsarist government perish?
Was the revolutionary of the Soviet Union, Stalin or Lenin? “It was Lenin.”
So you do know! Lenin, from the ancestors of the Tsarist government down to its offspring, completely swept them all away. I know that wretchedness. When they go, the husband and wife cannot cross over together. They must go separately. In the Communist Party, no two can go together.
However much President Moon may love China and the Soviet Union, in the end, he cannot cross the threshold together with them. Do you know that, when the people of Israel came forth — six hundred thousand of them — from the land of Canaan, they came out by slaying lambs and making a field of blood and crossing over?
They had been fleeing in different directions; when they were caught and brought together, those gathered in line were grandfather and father, and one's own sons and daughters — all gathered to die in one pit. It is the same. It is a sweeping away.
The purges of the Soviet Union cut off everything from three generations to seventeen generations. They would catch and kill even President Moon. I received the inheritance from Jesus at age seventeen, did I not? Remarkably, adding three, eight, and six gives seventeen. The Communist Party is 3·8·6. At age seventeen, they planned to do away with President Moon.
Because President Moon knew this, what did he do with the missionaries sent into the Soviet Union? Three-fifths are still underground. Disciples of President Moon, in the deepest places of the Soviet Union, run a newspaper company and once a month inform the Communist Party of what President Moon is doing. The Returning Lord, the one who becomes True Parents, must teach down through seventeen generations.
Japan, too, says it has no relation to President Moon of the Unification Church; if it continues as it has, it is destined to be struck by lightning. That time is the last. Until now, they could not catch and kill President Moon.
The sovereignty of the world had been divided up, and seven hundred years of history had passed — and what President Moon is doing is the Restoration of Sovereignty. Is it the Restoration of Sovereignty, or the restoration of democracy? “The Restoration of Sovereignty.” In the Restoration of Sovereignty, are there elections? There are not.
Then must President Moon issue the command, or must they know it of themselves and go forth? When President Moon becomes the supreme victor in the struggle of thought and theory, those who attend the Parents must know where the terminal point of the final war is. They must know that, by ending the war, the founding of heaven and earth will come. So in this notebook, October 3, 2001, has been set as the Heaven-Opening Day of the start.
Three sevens are twenty-one (3×7=21)—in Year 21, the Heaven-Opening Day must be set. October 3 of Year 21 is the Heaven-Opening Day of the World Unification Nation. The day on which the world of contention in the era of history is completely ceased and the gate of God's fatherland is opened in heaven and earth—that day, by what date is it set? It is set for October 3. Centering on Korea's Heaven-Opening Day, on top of it stand the love of the archangel and the love of Adam. You must follow along.
In the End, All Is Godism
Therefore, doing away with the Communist Party — by which Satan and his fallen descendants are to perish — is Godism. The other day, I went to the War Memorial; only after returning did I learn that on the second floor, there is a Museum of Ideas. I learned it from our Shin Joon.
When he asked, “Yesterday we went to the War Memorial; today we must go to the Museum of Ideas on the second floor. Will you go or not?” — The teacher did not know there was a Museum of Ideas there. When I asked, “Where is the Museum of Ideas?” he said it was on the second floor. When I checked whether this was so, indeed, it was there.
Why is there such a museum?
The Communist Party carries out purges. Asserting democracy and asserting God — they wipe out even the seed; if they are not one ideologically, they will catch and kill as many as they please.
If three men, centering on the responsible figures, say, “That wretched fellow is trying to kill the Reds. He is trying to pull up the root of the Reds,” they purge him. In the Communist Party, there is no Era of Sovereignty of Peace. The Communist Party itself must disappear.
World Unification Heaven-Opening Day — within that, the second sub-clause is “The Enthronement Ceremony of God's Sovereignty and the Setting Out of New Heaven and New Earth.” That sub-clause runs through ten. The first within it is, “The words 'you,' 'me,' and 'we' begin from God.” There is no other nation like this but Korea, so Korea will eternally not perish. Those who try to swallow up Korea, unable to swallow it, fall ill, and civil disorder breaks out, and they must flee.
Trying to swallow up Korea, even China, for over nine hundred years could not, and could not cross beyond the number ten. To receive tribute from Korea — some nine hundred and more years — it could not cross beyond ten. The number ten is the number of God; the number eleven is the number of God's son. It crosses three positions.
In the end, all is Godism. Godism, by which Abel and Cain can become one and return to the original — and the King of all kings is one. The lonely nation of God that they tried to make perish, that they tried to seize and do away with, did not disappear but remained until the end, and upon the throne of peace, subduing the enemy, established the family without Satan — and so, finding God's family and giving the Blessing, this is the settlement of the will of the original Edenic Restoration. It is not a settling-in.
Wherever God plants the seed as He pleases, that seed can reap heavenly fruit; so when a Blessed Family bears sons and daughters by the true seed, what becomes of them?
Because it is the seed of Heaven, even that one family becomes the perfected fruit of the Heavenly Kingdom itself. It is not a settling-in: rather, in the position of princes and princesses, with the qualification of perfected sons and daughters of Eden untouched by the Fall, entering into the original — the Era of “Mansei” for a Hundred Million Years of settlement, liberation, release, stability, and great peace! Aju, it is good!
There is no objection. Are there objections to the teacher's words or not? “There are not.” Freedom, peace, equality. Because freedom is needed, peace is needed, equality is needed — attending God, the King of Peace, with Cain and Abel ceasing their strife, it is equality, peace, and unity.
We Must Be Able to Be in Accord with the Principle
Has this world become a world of liberation-freedom and of peace-unification?
In Korea, attending God, peace-unification is being made. Heaven and earth have become two worlds.
Upper and lower were split, left and right were split, and front and back were split — it has become six. Centering on the number seven and centering on the figure eight, what must be done? The figure eight, to become so, must turn around like this, centering on Heaven.
The Adamic family era was the Old Testament era. Did not Jesus fail to marry? So, in the era of growth, centering on the nation, a wedding must be held. Then, in the cosmic era, supra-religiously — not the nation, but what? Twelve years remain until the D-day on which the world, within one week, performs the wedding of heaven and earth, and even God's sovereignty can be attended.
Now everything is finished. In February, we enter the era of the lunar calendar. For this reason, gathering you who belong not to the unknown bloodline of Satan but to the bloodline of Heaven, we find God's fatherland and original homeland. The name of the fatherland is the same for all, but the original homeland differs.
Sa Gil-ja! When Hyo-won appears, do you listen to him, or does he listen to you? Now do you know that Hyo-won is the one who helps? Truly amusing. Whoever Teacher, in teaching and training, sends one off to be married to the one who longed for Teacher, enters within that realm of love in which she became one with and loved Mother.
For that reason, she becomes Mother's younger sister. Among the 6.5 billion people, there is no bridegroom. Among 6.5 billion, 3.2 billion women are the younger sisters of the Queen Consort, the counterpart of the Teacher. When those younger sisters, centering on the fact that the bloodline has turned to Heaven's side, are taken apart and married again, what becomes of it? At the second marriage, they are the Queen Consort's — Mother's — younger sisters. The women are the younger sisters. As younger sisters who have not been able to marry, they can be married off.
In the marrying-off, there is no opinion of one's own. It must be done as the teacher determines. In discerning people, the teacher is better than you. As the eye grows smaller, just like adjusting the aperture of a camera, it sees farther. Stopped down, it scarcely lets the sunlight in. Looking in the pitch black of the twice-night, if only the focus is set, that is unmistakably the real thing. There is no sun halo, no moon halo, and no star halo.
Hyo-yul! “Yes.” There is the real Hyo-yul and the moon-halo Hyo-yul, the halo Hyo-yul. The real Hyo-yul is the mind Hyo-yul; the bodily Hyo-yul, being the moon-halo Hyo-yul, is the shadow Hyo-yul, the false Hyo-yul.
If one goes about heeding the false one — Phyllis too must not heed the Hyo-yul who loves only the body. One must be able to accord with the Principle. To hear the substantial Principle and not move will not do.
Now, when the first of the month comes, Teacher does as he wishes. The solar calendar disappears. Do not boast of Western custom. The era in which one can live by the law must go to the era of the lunar calendar. The solar calendar vanishes, and we enter the lunar calendar.
The time when women have their courses comes once a month. We enter an era in which, for upright women, no woman can bear children. Even for the diseases on the side — if one uses our machine, Happy Health, it is a cure-all.
That is remarkable. Leprosy is cured. AIDS is cured. Cancer is not even a problem. Now is not the time to advertise it. It does not cure at eighty percent, at a hundred percent. Wait until, having begun, it crosses fifty percent. If one applies it diligently, there is no disease that is not cured.
The Absoluteness of the Bloodline
Eighty-seven percent of all diseases are because of the Fall. If you do not catch the other diseases, you can live healthily and go to the Kingdom of Heaven.
If you use that machine, the diseases vanish. Therefore, bloodletting is done. Look at this here. The teacher scratched because of itching, and it came to be so. Even a little scratching makes it so.
When I scratched here yesterday, black blood came out. Letting it be, I bled this much, yet the color of the blood was pitch black. The blood passes through the heart and lungs, is filtered, and is exchanged here; but because it had stayed long, trying to go out and unable to rise, the blood had become pitch black. When I dabbed saliva on it like this, being foreign, the blood congealed. Foreign — even a little different — and the blood clots and blocks the bloodstream that should pass to the cells.
For that reason, bloodletting must be done. The cupping machines have all been bought, have they not? “Yes.” The teacher himself, from now on, when three-fifths here have been done and two-fifths more done so that five-fifths of clear blood is exchanged, even the symptoms of itching of the body will vanish. All such things will vanish. Here it has all vanished. This too, now one-third has vanished and two-thirds remain, but even what remains will vanish.
When the teacher scratches because of itching, to the point where blood comes out, even if he were to lie down for a few days and then leave, in that period, he must scratch and remove all the blemishes and go. The blemishes all vanish. Drawing out what is foreign, one must go with a clean body.

Reading this book through in Hoon Dok used to take two hours and forty minutes; now it ends in one hour and twenty minutes. It has been reduced to one-third.
That it has been reduced to one-third does not mean it is complete. By so much, it is insufficient. All these words must be put in.
How much is this book worth?
Even if you sold the nation and the people together, this book could not be bought.
Where will you obtain God's textbook and text?
It does not even exist in the Heavenly Kingdom.
Since it is not in the Heavenly Kingdom, it must all be completed here, and this book placed in the museum of your hometown. Do you understand? “Yes.” When you open your eyes, from now on, having committed all of this to memory, when sons and daughters with utmost devotion say, “Oh, dear, dear, my beloved!” — that is when one sells it forth.
Oh, dear, dear, my beloved…! Because He is most exalted, this speaks of the throne of Heaven. Knowing this, go back peacefully, take hold of your sons and daughters, and raise them as if loving the Parents, as if loving God. Those infants you raised from within the womb for ten months, feeding them with blood and flesh and even the marrow.
When the seed of son and daughter, having eaten the rice of love and even the love by which mother and father loved one another, is squeezed out and given to them — when that seed bears fruit, wherever it is planted, what becomes of it?
Because it is the seed of the Kingdom of Heaven, even that one family becomes the perfected fruit of the Kingdom of Heaven itself.
Even if planted a thousand years later, so long as the seed has not dried up and disappeared, when moisture comes, a sprout emerges, and the fruit is the same. Ah, an astonishing thing. The absoluteness of the bloodline.
Tomorrow is the first of the month, is it not?
“Yes.” Then, must Hoon Dok Hae be held tomorrow or not? “Tomorrow is the worship service. It is the last first day of the solar calendar.” The solar calendar's month ends. February 14 — there is evening, and there is morning, so it is the 13th; but because it has been extended to the 31st, it does not become an odd number; rather, crossing over to a paired number, even if joined, there is no hindrance.
For that reason, so that East and West can become one, it becomes not an odd number but a paired number. Then, must the solar calendar disappear, or must the lunar calendar disappear? “Father said that the solar calendar will be done away with.”
So — at the first attempt, one does not always get it; it is “three tries” (초부득삼). It is night and day, and night is first. Red and white — white is first, but red came to be first. In the upper and lower, the upper is not visible. The lower is below the feet, so it can be considered as much as one wishes.
Because it goes by that order — did the light come from the night, or did the night come from the light? Do you know that adding the seven colors makes the night? It becomes black. Do you know that?
When God made the man, did He first conceive the form of the woman and then make the man, or did He conceive the convex of the man and then make the woman? Man has no vagina, has no womb. Through whom did the vagina and the womb come into being?
A Bodily Contest for Raising One Another
Say “Bul-al-jil!” “Bul-al-jil!” The grafting of convex and concave is called bul-al-jil. Brazil is the world of the Pelvis, the kingdom of football. Do you know that Brazil, exporting football players to the world, earns several times more than what is earned by any industrial branch of the nation? Its name is Bul-al-jil. That is a fitting name. The name “Brazil” has become the chief of the football world.
What is our Sorocaba? “Solo” means there is only one. Solo becomes first and so is covered. If the Sorocaba football team does not play within three months against the Korean football team, the North Korean football team, the Japanese football team, and the Chinese football team, then football must disappear. For that reason, what is it? Say, “Wonku!” “Wonku!” Wonku (the Round Ball) is the cousin of yeon-gu (research). What is the difference between yeon-gu and won-gu?
Yeon-gu is forming a relationship through following an affinity; Won-gu is finding the round, becoming an affinity, and forming a relationship. That is Wonku Peace Cup football. Being the Peace Cup, there is no fighting. One who has wounded another to win must even pay the medicine bill himself. Even a bodily contest is for raising one another.
Even wolves engage in bodily contests, in wrestling. Do you know that? Polar bears, the bears who live at the North Pole, even when they are only three months old, the bear cubs bite and fight one another. That is preparation for being able to fight in the future. All are so. The males all grow while fighting. The females do not fight. These things are all known.
Now, since it is the last day of crossing into solar February, we must go and rest. If you are weary in the morning, it will not do, so we must rest. Three times the number of National Assembly members — from 1,700 to 2,100 — keep that in mind. Three sevens are twenty-one (3×7=21). Three eights are twenty-four (3×8=24); doing it through eight stages, who among them can become first?
Who can best know who is to become the one to inherit the tradition of Father and Mother, who can be the representative of all matters and become first? There can be no group that knows better than the brothers. The brothers must decide.
Is an election necessary?
Must the brothers bite and tear at one another?
Cho Jeong-sun! “Yes.” Of the five brothers, do they bite and tear, or do they help one another? “They must not fight.” From tomorrow, have the five brothers attend Hoon Dok Hae. Even if the ancestors of the eight stages differ, have them attend here by lottery. Gather what is of the same line as your family as the representative of the line of the nation. Everything connects through.
The Yeong Yeon Se Association — what is that? “It is the association connecting the spirit world and the earthly world.” It connects the spirit world and the world. The character hyeop (協, “association”) consists of “ten/cross” (十) and three “strength” (力) characters. What is above is the Father's position; then the one near at hand is Abel. The one far away is Cain.
Cain killed Abel. Into the last place of the Father, the last place of the elder brother, the last place of the bridegroom, Satan entered and seized Abel's position.
When Abel was killed, Satan was driven over to this side. In place of God, here is 3·8·6. Adding three and eight and six is seventeen. Fifteen, sixteen, seventeen — the third.
The teacher received the inheritance from Jesus at age seventeen. Before that, I knew nothing. From that time until age twenty-one, I was taught all the principles of heaven and earth. All the counsels appear here. Do not ask me. I have already taught the road you must walk.
So, taking hold of this, you must live a life that conforms to the content here more than the teacher does. From now on, you must be able to be one with the essential content here.
The More the Members of the Heavenly Kingdom Multiply
(Beginning from the middle of page 29 of The Owner of Peace, the Owner of the Lineage, True Father reads in Hoon Dok: “…If one knew such things as common knowledge, one could not, even if one tried, play around. People do not know that one's own concave and convex absolutely belong to God — that they belong to God, that the concave does not belong to the woman, that the convex too belongs to God and does not belong to the man.
How must the convex and concave come about for there to be unity?
They must love. Centering on the family, I— even if I die for the sake of you, it is good; the man exists to die for the woman, and the woman to die for the man.”)
Both sides are the same. Was the man born because of the woman, or was the woman born because of the man? Because it is “night and day,” the woman came into being first. People have forgotten this.
Because of the Fall, the woman does not know it. The woman must, all of her, raise the husband in the family and make him like God and so live. It was the woman who drove out God. Because the woman stands in a position by which she can drive out True Parents, drive out a True elder brother, and even drive out True younger siblings, the woman must restore everything, take responsibility for the textbook, and provide well over one hundred percent education just as it stands — there is no alternative.
The character mo (母, “mother”) is two “woman” characters (女) inverted and matched together. The character “mother” is made by matching these two long characters and inserting one in the middle. Pictographs are astonishing things. Cheon Il Guk (天一國) is the nation (國) in which two (二) people (人) have become one (一). It is not a nation that has become one centered on the woman. The man is the center. The concave must receive. If this becomes so, water spills out.
Chobu-deuksam (初不得三, “one does not get it on the first try, but on the third”), youth of two-times-eight (i.e., sixteen). By age twenty-four, since one can bear two children without problem—since one becomes qualified to inherit heaven and earth as the heir to guard the royal seat of grandfather and grandmother — the youth of two-times-eight is good. People live not knowing this at all. It is all here. There are also versions for True Mother and a version for True Father.
The Owner of Peace, the Owner of the Lineage — even if other nations hereafter try to make it, it will not be the same. The leather binding made here must eternally be made the same. Gimm-Young Publishers cannot fail to sell books. Even at our own printing house, we make all such things. There is no problem. Through Gimm-Young, it is six or seven hundred thousand copies, but by the time next year's Olympic Games are over, it must exceed 1.6 million copies.
Let the Blessed Families each buy 430 copies and, of those related to them through clan, distribute first to whoever does not have the book. Then the registers all become different. At present, the number of nations is 194; they will be reduced to 120. The 286 family-name clans must be reduced to 126.
Your ancestors must come and help. Several thousand generations of ancestors have gone to the spirit world, and we are connecting the ancestors who resemble the several thousand generations of descendants.
Now the clansmen must be connected. Up to now, you have not borne fruit, have not flowered, but act like the seed. Do you think President Moon of the Unification Church is going to feed and provide for you?
Does President Moon divide his property and give it to you?
It must be distributed to the teachers' sons and daughters. Then, not only to the second and third generations, but the further down through the generations it goes, the more it will multiply.
The more the members of the Heavenly Kingdom multiply, the more you must cross the pass at which you can marry on the same footing.
If you do not cross over that, even when you go to the Kingdom of Heaven, you cannot freely come up and down. The teacher lives knowing this. Wherever I go, it is so.
