The Model Pattern for the Course of a Life

The Model Form of a Lifetime

Did five new families arrive today? (Yes.) Is today the sixth day or the fifth day? (Today is the sixth day.) It is the sixth; from here on, it is the seventh and the eighth. Eight hundred families now remain, and the question is how to mobilize those families within three days. You must plan that so you can finish it all in two rounds of four hundred families each.

If you leave it as it is, it will never end. It must be brought to an end. Will it end well, or will it end badly? It must be ended as the ratification of the whole rises, not as it falls.

The Four Generations Must Always Be Raised as One Family

Among the Blessed Families, there will be grandfathers as well. It is that kind of age. There is the grandfather, there is the father, there is the married couple, and there are the sons and daughters.

The four generations must always be raised together as one family, yet ordinary families are not arranged that way. It must be possible to connect all four generations—from grandfather to father, to sons and daughters, to grandsons and granddaughters. That is one lineage.

A person is born and passes through the kindergarten age, the elementary-school age, the middle- and high-school age, and the university age, going on even to graduate school. In the way a person is born and grows, education must follow the principle. There is the age in the womb, the age of boyhood, the age of youth, the age of maturity, and the age of old age. Thereafter, one enters the spirit world.

One finishes middle school and high school, then finishes university and graduate school, goes out into society, marries, raises sons and daughters, and even sees grandchildren.

However, when the time comes to set up a separate household, one should do so only after grandchildren have been born. Until then, one must live together with one's parents and be trained in communal life.

One lives with the grandfather, lives with the father, the couple itself lives, and the couple's sons and daughters live there too. Thus, centering on the fifth ancestral generation, there come the fourth, the third, the second, and the first generations.

The four generations from the first to the fifth ancestral generation can live together. The fifth ancestral generation is vertical. On this earth, people live without knowing the program of the spirit world to which they must go after passing the age of fifty. This is because of the Fall.

When education is given according to tradition, anyone can know where they must go after being born and living their life. The age in the womb lasts ten months.

During those ten months, the mother and father must be in harmony and become one to nurture the child.

Even the water of the earth has a strong kind and a weak kind. This is what we call the principle of yin and yang. The land, too, has high places and low places.

Development is drawn out in a circular form, both vertically and horizontally. One must cross over through eight stages. They are the age of the individual, the age of the family, the age of the clan, the age of the people, and the age of the nation. On earth, one must pass through the nation.

Thereafter, from the age of the nation, one must pass through the age of harmony with the spirit world, and even upon going to the spirit world, one passes through eight dimensions. People do not know this.

If you do not align with that, you cannot breathe. The circulatory movement, the giving and receiving with one another, does not work. In our body, there are the lungs, the heart, and the stomach. The lungs are like the leaves. The stomach is like the stem, and the heart is like the root. It is the same as a tree.

How do the branches, the roots, or the shoots grow?

As roots, they grow underground; as the stem, they grow above ground, and then they bloom into flowers and bear fruit. When it bears fruit, it must become a fruit that can be planted.

It is the same with people. Whether it is grain growing or animals, all grow by the same formula. People live cut off from this, not knowing it.

You must know how to bind it together. In the spirit world, there is water, and there are fish as well. There are animals and birds too. There are things just the same as on this earth. That world beyond the eight dimensions is structured in a twofold way.

If a person does not align with the model form through which a lifetime is to pass, they break apart midway. Many cannot live even to the age of sixty-five. By the formula, a human being goes on to sixty, eighty, one hundred, and one hundred fourteen years of age.

One passes beyond a hundred to a hundred fifteen, a hundred seventeen.

What will happen when one passes a hundred seventeen and enters the spirit world?

When one enters the spirit world, there is the kindergarten age of the ideal world centered on spirit and body. Just as infants drink milk and follow their mother, at kindergarten age, one must follow, centering on the Heavenly Parent. People do not know that it is precisely twofold.

Since it is structured in this twofold way, which comes first—the visible or the invisible? People do not know any of it. The invisible comes first.

From the age in the womb, raising a baby must be done as with a living child. The baby is the fruit. If the grandfather is the root, the father is the stem, and the baby is the leaf. Only when there are four generations does it become the flower.

The spirit world is the reverse of the earthly world. This earthly world is turned upside down.

How should a baby be raised?

The mother and father are to keep the grandfather's tradition alive and, simply by living it just as it is, show it to the baby.

(Interlacing the fingers of both hands.) Try doing this. Which side went up? The left hand went up, did it not? (Yes.) You must give service and sacrifice. The mother and father go first, and the beloved elder brother goes first. It is to pioneer the path I am to walk. The parents go ahead and pioneer the path I am to walk.

So when I, too, clasp my hands like this, the left hand rides on top. Then, centering on the horizontal, what happens to the right hand? It turns around like this from here. When the mother and father hold this center and align things, a pillar comes into being.

Indeed, a person needs tradition.

Is it the tradition of the people of Jeolla Province?

It is not the tradition of the people of Jeolla, nor the tradition of the people of Gyeongsang. It is the whole land of the eight provinces. The eight provinces are thirteen provinces. Korea is the nation that has become the model of the creation of heaven and earth. How can Reverend Moon say such things? He speaks from the position of an ancestor.

I can marry the 6.5 billion of humanity within a single hour. What is the secret? It is to have everyone close their eyes and clasp their hands like this. Try it. By habit, one hand rides on top of the other.

What does it mean that the left hand goes up?

It means that, going to that other world, one is to become the exemplar of attendance. For the left hand to ride upon the right, everything must be brought into alignment. When such a person goes ahead of everyone on the path of service and sacrifice, they are walking the path they are meant to walk.

The person whose right hand goes up on top of the left is the one who takes dominion. In establishing the tradition of the owner, one comes down from above. To rise high from above, since the tradition must be established, one has to come down.

For parents to set their sons and daughters upon the traditional standard, they must come down. This is not done blindly. Only when it accords with reason does one stay free of illness throughout one's life. The problem is that it gets crossed up.

A woman finds her alignment at the point where she can live for the sake of the man. As for a man, where he demands that others live for his own sake, he has no partner. The problem is that people do not know this principle of heaven and earth.

Once you know just this, the tradition that can carry you from the age of boyhood to the period of maturity stands firmly in place. My mind knows it. Since the mind knows, the body follows.

In the morning, when you ask, “Where are you going to go?” you must not ask the body. You ask the mind. From a low place, to which high place shall I go? There is front and back, there is up and down, there is left and right, and there must be movement.

For movement to occur, anything pointed, anything with sharp angles, will not do. Wherever they go, the people of Jeolla say, “I am the best. When it comes to singing and dancing, the people of Jeolla are the best!”

You cannot make a living with that. However much you sing and dance and conjure lightning and perform all manner of marvels, that will not feed you. On the earth, you must accomplish the opposite of that.

When you seek to give, you must be able to receive. Lightning striking and thunder sounding is the wedding of the harmony of heaven and earth, the wedding of nature. It is the principle of yin and yang. When up and down, front and back, left and right all converge completely upon the nucleus, what happens? The whole enters into the nucleus and, centering on the four directions, moves for the sake of the vertical.

There must be no corners there. With corners, you cannot do the work. Try it—see whether you can work! It becomes a problem. You must open out. You must open out and fold in, sit down and stand up, sleep and wake. You must open out.

So only when I stand in a horizontal position can I find the vertical standard.

If, without even achieving the horizontal, one tries to set up the vertical standard, the horizontal standard dies, and the vertical standard dies as well.

Only by Dying Does One Find the Path to Life

Why are there two eyes?

I do not know either. That is just how it became. Why are there two nostrils as well? One would do, you might say. How good it would be if there were just one eye! But with one eye, you can see only one path.

And what if there were only one nostril?

If you were to breathe air through a single hole, you would die upon entering a region where the air is bad. Even when you go into a region where the air is bad, you live because the two nostrils are arranged as Cain and Abel.

So when one of them becomes blocked, it means you are not to live in that place. When you climb to the seven-tenths or eight-tenths ridge of a high mountain, it opens. Go and test it for yourself.

Because the path Reverend Moon walks is good, people follow even when told not to. Because I, knowing the principle of heaven and earth, climb to the summit and come down again, setting the measure in every direction, the heart is drawn along entirely. Even when the mother and father say, “Do not go,” and try to kill them, they say, “Even if I die, I will go.” That, originally, is the way of life. Only by dying does one find the way to life.

As for what kind of place hell is, it is a pitch-dark place without light. It is dark, and dark again. How did hell come about? It came about because a man and a woman failed to become one. God did not create in error.

God created everything, knowing everything, and yet He is left aghast. He says, “Why has it turned out like that?” It turned out so because of the woman.

Because the woman fell, the time came when the Western world ruled over the world. There is “The Message of the Philosophers and Thinkers Sent from the Heavenly World.” There is east, west, south, and north, but there is no center. That is the problem.

If the woman fell, then the origin of civilization, having begun from the woman, must play out the game of devouring the man. This is because the Fall came about through the woman. Men are the later embodiments of the archangel. There were three angels. They were Lucifer and two angels, Gabriel and Michael.

The woman says, “I am the best!” and the man says, “I am the best.” Are there only two—one woman and one man—in the world? Hundreds of billions of men and women have come and gone. So does God mean to take them all and live with them at once?

What becomes of the father and mother?

Do the branchings of the line of love differ?

There is a model of love. Should the model be round, flat, or long? To be the model, must one be tall or short? If it is to be tall, the central model must be the tallest of all.

Then how about that which has grown over a thousand years, compared with that which can grow beyond a thousand years all at once? To become a model with the character to replace the center that swiftly, must one be stout or slight? (Slight.) Why must it be slight? Why do women seek to grow slight? What are they seeking to become? They do so to sit astride the man.

The woman says, “Until now the man has sat astride, so presently I must sit you astride.” The woman is smaller than the man, yet when the arms are stretched out, she wishes the woman were longer than the man. In that case, to extend the fingers, should one graft the man's finger onto the back of the woman's finger or graft the woman's finger onto the man's finger?

Only by grafting the woman's finger onto the man's finger does it grow; no matter how much you graft the man's finger onto the woman's finger, it will not work. The finger turns the wrong way and disappears.

In the same way, the woman who would dominate the man also disappears. Yet even though she is ruled by the man, the woman is the one who can do with the man as she pleases at night. At nighttime, things must go as the woman does. The man goes east, goes west, goes south, and goes north for the sake of love—and it is to teach love.

Only Where There Is the Horizontal Does the Vertical Stand Straight

So, what is the woman?

She is horizontal. Between a man and a woman, who is the more impartial? Is the woman impartial, or is the man? The man is a thief. They all want to be number one. They know only the one. The woman, however, wants to raise all four directions. The thought is that we must uphold them. She seeks to take up the horizontal in all four directions. Only where there is the horizontal does the vertical stand straight. If it is even slightly skewed, it drifts away and disappears.

What is a model? The original blueprint for building a house is the model. Without a model, you cannot build a house. Is the man above, or is the woman above?

Is the man larger or the woman?

Among the events of the Olympic Games, there is no woman who has beaten a man and broken his record. There are well over one hundred eighty events, but among them, there is no woman who has broken a world record such that men would attend her like God.

Even so, when it comes to the record for living for the sake of others, none can match the woman. What does the word “woman” (여자, yeoja) mean? When you say “yeo” (여), it means “look at me”—yeobo (여보).

Whom does it tell you to look at?

It tells you to look at me. Since the sound “yeo” has been made, you turn and look back—but at whom do you look? It means, Look at me. “Yeo” does not mean “look at you.” The Korean word “yeobo” is revelatory.

Should God have a wife?

God being male, should the woman come into being first, or should the man come into being first? Should the night come into being first, or should the day? Did the convex come into being first, or did the concave exist first so that the convex came into being? On this earth, who came into being first? It is the woman.

The woman came into being first; the man did not come into being first. The man is the husband (남편, nampyeon), the south (남쪽). The woman is in the north. So it is south and north. Though the woman came into being first, the owner is the south. Counting the man's side and the woman's side, and the son's side and the daughter-in-law's side, there are four sides. After that comes the king's side.

If those five go off somewhere and quarrel, they vanish. East, west, south, and north all vanish. (Hoon Dok reading of “The Message of the Seven Representative Thinkers of the Modern Era.”)

The Hoon Dok reading must be brought to a close. Meanwhile, guests have come, and because, in a complicated environment, the environment of your training has widened in every direction and you have come to the borderline where you might forget the nucleus, I am telling you these things and putting it all in order. It is the sea bass—the sea bass. A fish of a rank above the rest. God is catching the fish that can be caught. One who thinks deeply of God must know the fact that he cannot but catch the big one.

The Concept of Ownership Is Sin

Eight hundred people remain—who is the one in charge here?

Just as these people have gathered, so have those people gathered in groups of four hundred as well. If this time eight hundred can gather all at once, then let them gather and draw lots, dividing into one and two: those who become one go in the first round, and those who become two go in the second round.

There is the angelic world, the world of Adam, and the world of God. The world of Eve must disappear. For this reason, in advance, I sent thirteen men to each of one hundred twenty nations. Women were included as well.

Upon that foundation, I dispatched four thousand three hundred people all at once, and more than twelve years have passed. For this reason, Reverend Moon knows South America better than anyone. It is ahead of Japan.

So, in forming the Abel UN, South America, in a leading position, must become one with the Japanese people and be able to take responsibility on behalf of the worldwide Mother. Because the elder son killed the younger son, the younger son must restore the position of the elder brother.

The elder son drove out God and the True Parents, so the tradition by which they can be sought and attended must be learned through Abel.

Centering on having learned that tradition, the elder brother must become the younger and attend to the God who was driven out at the time the younger brother was killed. Thus, the whole world must become one nation. To this end, please keep in mind that Korea, as the one traditional subject nation, becomes the nation of Adam; and I earnestly hope that the people of Korea will keep in mind, and keep in mind again, that they must never forget they are to carry out their vocational responsibility at the forefront! (Aju!)

Now is the time when all ownership must disappear. It must be so from today. Along with registration, do not hang out a dung-stinking signboard declaring that you will rise high in your country, with the men throwing their weight around on their shoulders and the women putting force into their backsides and stirring up a wind. The conclusion is simple. The notion of ownership is a great sin. What is this ownership that claims, “It is mine”? When even God's ownership has not yet been settled, to act so makes one a thief.

You must not try to make anything of the Unification Church's into your own. Your signboard and all your things have been stolen. It is the same as when a band of pirates digs up the sand and buries their goods, only for it all to be swept away when a typhoon blows. Do not embrace what will vanish instantly like that and consider it to be your own. Such things must be placed upon the foundation where the original Will of Heaven can be sought and brought to restoration and completion, and you must say, “God, please receive this!”

Even if you dedicate it while bowing a thousand and ten thousand times, there is no knowing whether it will be received. Even when I commend it, your position is one of doubt. Possessions filthier than a dung scoop—I do not so much as dream of them or even look at them. They are done away with, together with that name. It is simple. It is not difficult. When Reverend Moon is merciless, he is a merciless man.

This time, over the autobiography, a dispute has broken out around the world. People have asked, “Is it a lie, or is it the truth?”

If it is the truth, then one ought to follow—but what becomes of you if you cannot attend Reverend Moon because he is old?

If you can attend neither the young parents nor the old parents, you will live trampled at the very bottom of hell. The fact is that such people were given life by being made into the royal lineage of the Kingdom of Heaven, the absolute kindred of God.

What did Hyung Jin say about “seven”?

You do not know what “rising the eighth (palgi)” is. You must know chil-sa-pal-gi (칠사팔기). (It is “resurrection through seven deaths, completion at the eighth stage” (칠사부활 팔단완성).)

My spirit is not here alone. There is a spirit in that other world as well. It is in both worlds. I love going back and forth.

So, in the two worlds that are neither the world alone nor heaven alone—when one removes the condition that keeps body and mind from uniting and plays the game of uniting them—then on this earth I go when I wish to go. We Must Carry Out a Fundraising Campaign to Build the Palace

The eight hundred people, the rest of them, must gather here on the morning of the ninth and, even in my absence, handle and resolve matters according to the instructions given. Now there are not even a thousand days left until D-day. How many days remain? (Nine hundred fifty-seven days remain.) Is today the sixth day or the fifth day? (It is the sixth day.)

From the sixth, it goes on to the number seven and the number eight. With the even numbers nine, ten, and eleven, twelve, the world crosses over into an age in which, centering on the family, the inner, and the outer can be brought into accord. It crosses over to the stage where, in one hundred twenty nations, no one has not received the Blessing.

Now that I have given you all the teaching materials, it will not do to fail to act according to those materials.

If you do not act according to those materials, you will be struck down. How many have been beaten to death in prison? I, too, was a man marked for death, yet I survived. I was a man who would have died without crossing the hill of forty, without crossing the hill of fifty. Because I am tough, I survived.

The eight hundred families may gather in this plaza on the morning of the ninth. No other place is needed. Was there a meeting place in the Garden of Eden? There was not even a tent. It was a sandy shore. Here, too, there is a sandy shore, is there not? We have a training center in Chungcheong Province, and that place is Muchangpo (무창포). Muchangpo is a name meaning to become wealthy and to prosper.

These days, what sort of people are the lewd crowds engaged in incestuous relations among kin? A grandfather lives with his daughter-in-law and lives with his granddaughter. A father-in-law lives with his daughter-in-law.

Such things do not exist even in hell. For this reason, I have completed all the manuals. They were finished last year. We held a rally in Las Vegas.

The Abel UN and the Cain UN must join together and carry out a fundraising campaign to build the palace. With symbolic money and image-level people, and then with the substantial God, centering on a garden of the love of God and humankind, the owner is brought forth. That rally remains. Rallies are being held in Europe and in Israel. Since it ended in Las Vegas, it is being held there as well.

People do not know the God of the night and the God of the day. Only when I teach this and, with that ceremony as the condition, bring about liberation, does God come to hold the authority He held before the Fall. When in this way all things are offered up to God, He receives them and governs as He pleases. I am playing the game of becoming the absolute king of filial sons, loyal patriots, and saints, and, bearing the name of the True Parents, of taking all people as sons and daughters to bring Heaven to completion and to liberate it.

Now it is all finished. (Hoon Dok reading continues; A movement will appear on the earth of handing over to the Father all that is ours, declaring, “All that is ours is the Father's, and the sons and daughters I have are the Father's sons and daughters as well; Father, please bless us!” We must clearly understand that it is our responsibility to seek all things and return them to the Father as His own…

The mothers must know—the mothers. They must know that the son is my son and, at the same time, the Father's son. What is it that, having sought from the mother and from the father all that this son of the Father possesses, can call the things of that father and mother my own?

Only when, upon absolute love, one calls them our Father and Mother is the inheritance granted, conditionally, in that place. With that condition, one must live alongside the True Parents throughout one's life.

Thereafter, only by going beyond the three-generation familial sphere of the world does one cross over into the age of the fourth dimension and the age of the fifth dimension. This very hour is the time that connects the fifth dimension and the sixth dimension. When the fifth day and the sixth day have passed and one crosses even the seventh and the eighth day, the ninth day is connected.

Let Us Become Royal Descendants of Triumphant Sovereignty

I do not need possessions. I do not need North and South Jeolla Provinces, no need for Korea, no need for America, no need even for North and South America, and the Soviet Union.

For whose sake, then, do I seek to claim such unneeded things?

They must be claimed for the sake of later generations—yet I have already become the owner who has claimed them all. I have passed through the age of the individual, passed through the age of the family, and passed through the ages of the clan, the people, and the nation.

There is something greater than the land of North and South Jeolla. There is land that cannot be exchanged even for the whole of South Jeolla. There is also the Cheon Jeong Gung (천정궁) that I built. And yet you must understand that I have become a great king who, unable to live in the Cheon Jeong Gung—which cannot be exchanged even for the Republic of Korea, nor for all the people of the world—wanders about instead. When there is time, I must go to Las Vegas in America, and I must also come to Yeosu and Suncheon. I could simply leave you here to take your training or not—so why do I go back and forth, busy and worn out?

If I wish to live, I must die; and having died, I—who had vanished—come to life. That is rebirth.

Since one dies and lives again, is it not rebirth?

That is resurrection. Rebirth too requires resurrection, and even one who has been resurrected requires Seung Hwa (승화) once they go to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Seung Hwa is rising straight up by elevator. Even when I speak of such a thing as the Seung Hwa Ceremony, you do not know it, do you? It is rising to the only palace in heaven.

In South America, you take an elevator down to below seven hundred meters. There is such a cavern. In the Kingdom of Heaven, several hundred times deeper than that cavern, one builds a plaza and an athletic field, and exercises and sweats, coming and going. I think of such things. Should such a thing be built near Mt. Baekdu, or should it be built in the land of Gyeongju, or by the seashore?

What if one were to dig down to a depth of forty stories?

The surrounding water rushes in. It becomes a great well. If, in such a place, one builds a football field and conducts even football training, one cannot help but become a world champion. If training for the Olympic Games is done there, one cannot but become a people superior to any other people in the world. So I think.

An aerial Olympic Games can also be held. These days, a single American jet can wipe out the jets of all one hundred twenty nations. They possess such a weapon. Next, the director of the CIA (the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States) must be decided by me. It is the same with the KGB (the State Security Committee of the former Soviet Union). The heads of the intelligence agencies of the Soviet Union and China, too, must be decided by me.

What should Britain, the United States, and France, together with Japan, Germany, and Italy, have done for Reverend Moon immediately after the Second World War?

The year 1952 was when I turned forty years of age. By my forties, by the age of forty-three, I was to have become the King of kings. In the Garden of Eden, Adam was set to become the King of kings by the age of forty. People do not know that already, by the seventh generation of descendants, there was the intention to establish kingship through those descendants. The only one who knew this was Reverend Moon.

Now, everyone knows my history. These days, over the autobiography, it has become an issue, and the world's press has been mobilized, saying, “Since we opposed and blocked Reverend Moon's path, we must liberate him.”

If, anywhere under heaven, some nation, or some state is needed—as for occupying the land of the Soviet Union or China and making loud boasts, that is no problem—the aim is to bring it all together and make the only land of the owner, that we may attend him there.

You cannot know how hard it has been until now. To come from the ends of the earth to the center is tens of millions of li, and walking roads of more than three thousand to four thousand kilometers, I carried out the education of filial sons, loyal patriots, and saints. The call is for you to circle the globe several times, for seven generations to make several circuits and traverse the steps that I walked in a single generation.

What of the sons and daughters born in the midst of this?

The call is to become royal descendants of the triumphant sovereignty of God who have inherited the tradition of the Kingdom of Heaven—the sovereign authority of all, of the whole, of full authority, and of omnipotence.

Gather, All Eight Hundred Families and More

Today is the sixth day. Since we are crossing from the hill of the fifth day to the hill of the sixth day, I told you to bring everyone, centering on the sons and daughters. I hear you called for some forty men to come…? Have all your husbands come here? Were they told to come? (Yes, they were asked to come.) Are there any who have come? (Yes, many have come.) Those who have come, raise your hands. (Wives whose husbands have visited, please raise your hands.)

How many people can fit in one boat?

(Father, including husbands and wives, it is ten, and counting the babies as well, I understand it to be thirteen.) Only the new men of those five families are to board; the men here must not board. Now, those who have relatives are to call them.

How many were there yesterday—some forty?

The number matched yesterday with the forty-six victims of the Cheonan! How many are there today—some fifty? (Fifty-one If it is fifty-one, by tomorrow it ought to exceed fifty-seven.

From today's six, tomorrow becomes seven. The one in charge here, who represents the six, is told that, if he wishes, he may bring before the trainees who have reached the seventh day even the kin of the grandfather through three generations. The eight hundred are told to bring all three generations if they have them.

What will you do? Since there is a sandy shore, you can pitch tents. If a thousand come, we mobilize our boats and pitch tents on the sandy shore. Now the time has come for me to depart as well.

Those among you who remain—the three generations of sons and daughters—must all gather at my meeting place before nine o'clock on the ninth. (Yun Tae-geun, report; The content of the Blessing he has spoken of is as follows. Today is the sixth day. We are spending eight days of special devotion attending Father, and today is the sixth day.

Tomorrow is the seventh, the day after is the eighth, and the day after that is the ninth. He is telling us to gather by nine o'clock on the morning of the ninth day.

The trainees who remain, who were unable to attend here, number eight hundred. There are eight hundred, and in the first round, since today is the eighteenth by the Heavenly Calendar, the four hundred must gather by nine o'clock on the morning of the day that becomes the twentieth……)

All eight hundred and more who were unable to attend are told to come. (The four hundred include wives, husbands, fathers-in-law, and children.)

Yes, the Blessed Families attend as well. Whether it be the father, the son, or the daughter, they come as representatives. Those who have attended up to now number well over eight thousand, do they not? (Yes.) (The report continues.)

There is no telling how many tens of thousands it may be. Even those who came from across the nation but did not get to see me are told to attend. Which session of trainees is this? (The forty-eighth.) The forty-eighth—four times eight is thirty-two (4 × 8 = 32). Not just anyone can do this.

How could one match the timing so precisely?

Those who have received the Blessing, too, are to be made to attend without exception. The eight hundred families do not merely come and go. It continues until the forty-day training is completed.

It has taken seven years to come this far, and the call is to finish within three months. (The report continues: If we do so, then this training, once the second eight-day devotion begins on the twenty-first day of the fourth month by the Heavenly Calendar, will end on the twenty-eighth day of the fourth month by the Heavenly Calendar.

The twenty-ninth is the last day of the fourth lunar month, and then the event of the first day of the fifth month comes around. On the first day of the fifth month, there is the event of the Day of All Things.)

As for the event of the Day of All Things as well, you are to seek it out and, beyond what I used to observe, make offerings and pour out devotion. You must celebrate it as sons and daughters who hold no possessions of their own. You must not hold possessions.

The things I have given are fine, but what becomes of the one who piles up the things they themselves have stolen from the satanic world and leaves them behind? Before then, it must all be registered under Heaven's ownership. Do you understand?

Whether one is a county governor or a president, one cannot come without registration. Everyone must be registered. A person who holds ownership cannot come.

What does it mean to board my boat?

Whether man or woman, when one marries, one must board the boat. And only when one can earn a living and feed one's sons and daughters does the grandfather grant the inheritance.

My three generations boarded the boat together. What boat? My boat. Did they board, or not? (They boarded.) I do not know. When one sees it for the first time, one is startled again and again.

So that no one can say, “Has that fellow received the Blessing? I have never seen him; I am seeing him for the first time,” I asked them to board the boat, and so, even if they touch the navel, touch the head, or touch my household belongings, I make no complaint. If they wish to touch so badly, I tell them to go ahead and touch.

An Absolute Condition

The Principle book—there is only this. I see they go about without loading it on the boat, these fellows! (We are sorry. We will load it.) That is why I give this instruction again. The boats must, without fail, be stocked with the book. When the manual is present, one must come to attention as before God and bow in greeting. Only then, I say, is there no one who can carry off anything by theft.

One bows in greeting because it is the manual the Father attended, the manual and teaching material that God safeguards. When you say, “I am sorry; I apologize for opening it suddenly,” you must bow and close it. Then, in reading the manual aloud on that boat, you say, “Since I failed to keep guard and opened it first, I will read it more than ten times so that those who could not come may yet come.” Only then can the people of Jeolla who have not seen it come to see it. It is an absolute condition.

There is no ownership of one's own. The whole is the possession of the Father and of the sons and daughters. The president, too, must register.

If it is that nation's central bank, it must be registered with the central bank. You must assess your property and register such-and-such an amount. Only then can the three sons and daughters be brought aboard.

You have not all registered. Were you born under the name of the Heavenly Parent? You were not born that way. Whatever difficulties there may be, I must set up that condition over these eight days. You must not die. Now that we have crossed these six hills, it is all right even to die. This is because I have delivered the word in your stead.

It goes on for several thousand years and more.

If it fails, what is to be done if one's kindred, descendants, and ancestors are all blocked off?

It will not do to say that only the kindred of the True Parents attend God, until the time when descendants who can reach completion in the position before the Fall can be met.

Such an enormous task remains. (The report continues; I have organized in my own way the content that Father has emphasized several times. All must come before nine o'clock on the morning of the twenty-first day of the fourth month by the Heavenly Calendar.

So when they come, the couple must clearly hold their children's hands, and if there is a father-in-law and mother-in-law, they too must come here together.

Those who have received training may also attend. In this way, at the least there will be nine hundred, and more than that will fill this yard, and attending Father, they will receive marine training……)

Fishing, too, comes in three kinds: the grandfather's fishing, one's own fishing, and the sons' and daughters' fishing. For three generations, there must be nine rods, twelve rods. You must buy twelve rods and either leave them here or take them home.

Whenever it is said, “Sons and daughters of three generations, families, come!” you must come with your fishing rods. I have bought fifty rods for everyone. So even if the Blessed Families borrow the boats they board, for the fishing rods, they are to use the ones I have bought.

The Body of a Sinner Who Can Only Be Grateful

How much is it if the five families mobilized in the forty-eighth session? Five times eight is forty (5 × 8 = 40). Since it is the forty-eighth session, this means it did not pass beyond fifty. Passing beyond seven times seven, forty-nine (7 × 7 = 49), one goes to the Kingdom of Heaven regardless of where one dies.

There is no need for the forty-ninth-day rite (49제). When people die, they must all hold the forty-ninth-day rite. The three generations join together and pronounce a blessing over the path one is to take.

When the three generations—the grandfather, the father, and oneself—who have received the liberating grace of the Parents give the blessing, one can break free. Because the three generations have stood as guarantors, because they have taken responsibility, one crosses the hill. In crossing over thus, whom does one bring along?

One must cross over by attending to the Parents; one cannot cross over by becoming the parent oneself or by the elder brother becoming the parent. Though the name “Parents” is not on the earth, since it is in the spirit world, one can cross over and cross back, attending to those Parents for countless ages. One goes back and forth attending the Parents; otherwise, one can neither cross over nor cross back.

Because it is the representative position the Parents have entrusted to me, and the position of inheritance as well, unless one holds the heart of attending the Parents wherever one goes—be it to the border of a nation or to anywhere in hell—the land where one can cry Mansei for the age of great peace of the Kingdom of Heaven comes to have nothing to do with oneself. That is how enormous the matter is.

So, raise your hands and give thanks, raise your feet and give thanks, give thanks even when you fall backward, and give thanks even when you die.

Give thanks though you die on the right, give thanks though you die on the left; though your head be broken, and your feet be gone, and your body roll about, you are a sinner's body that can only give thanks. And yet no one can be so. (Bowing in reverence.)

When the King of kings is seated here, one ought to open one's eyes, look upon him, and bow in greeting; yet you raise your voices while your forms are of every shape and kind. There is no oneness. I do not wish to receive such a greeting.

Yesterday, too, having just five couples do it, I had them stand in for more than tens of millions, hundreds of millions of peoples coming to bow in reverence.

Even my hand gives off a smell, and I cannot tell the true smell. If you have handled mackerel, you smell of mackerel; if you have handled rockfish, you smell of rockfish; if you have handled dung, you smell of dung. You spit, ptui. But what happens if you spit when the dung is a baby's dung?

Worrying that her beloved baby might die, my mother would taste the dung. She tasted it, whether it was sweet or bitter. By judging it sweet or bitter in this way, she discerned that the day of death was not far off. Seeing that, I could not bring myself to ask my mother. I resolved it through prayer.

However much you love, you cannot surpass the love of your mother and father. Without grumbling, you must bow a hundredfold and a thousandfold, cry Mansei, and receive them with gratitude.

Some newfangled sons and daughters delight in driving out their mother and father. People who become doctors or professors are running away, saying they will not attend to their mother and father at all. If you follow that, it leads to the very bottom of hell.

Even if your mother and father gave you no schooling and treated you with contempt and made a refugee of you, if you attend to that mother and father as you would God, then, because there is in this the form of having attended Heaven, you cross the hill up to two-thirds of the way to the Kingdom of Heaven.

For this reason, what is “seven”? It is chil-sa-pal-gi (칠사팔기)—dying seven times and rising the eighth (palgi). To rise the eighth (palgi) is to be born; it is the eighth birth (palsaeng). One becomes the eighth-risen-and-born (palgi-saeng). Since “rising the eighth” gives life to that very self, there is no longer any need for the word “rebirth.” One has only to be resurrected.

By the word, I have shut the gate through which Satan passes back and forth so that he cannot stir. For this reason, Satan fears it most of all. To guard you, I come and go here, centering on my name. The nation of Abel is Korea. Cain sacrifices his position and stands in the position of the younger brother.

Thus, only when the God who was driven out can naturally find His way back to that position—by attending to the younger brother more than the elder—is the Kingdom of Heaven restored. That is the heavenly law. Of that, there is no owner but Reverend Moon. Do you understand, or not? (We understand.)

You must bow in greeting, knowing this. You must keep this book well. It is precious. If you hold on to that to the very end, the world will be restored, and centering on that nation, it cannot be exchanged for anything. It is the book that can liberate the nation of Cain and the nation of Abel. It is all there. Now, you understand, do you not?
