Read on, continuing from yesterday. (Reading, as Hoon Dok, Chapter 6, Section 1 of the “Earthly Life and the Spiritual World” Book of the Cheon Seong Gyeong.)
A Person Who Does Not Even Know How to Drive
I have taught it in fine detail. What will you all do about that? Must the Teacher protect you? The Teacher is, right now, crossing the breathless ridge of whether this world dies or lives, centered on the problem called the liberation of God, having crossed that ridge. Who knows that?
Try all dying. On a road in the wilderness of a flatland, if it is a sixteen-lane road, the lines of the sixteen-lane road are clear. One enters where one is to enter, climbs where one is to climb. The way that can cross the ridges of the windings is clearly laid out, but how is it with you?
You have no car, no road map, and your eyes are dark, so you cannot see, and you do not even know. Would a person who does not even know how to drive go there? The place where one must dwell for a hundred million years is the dark world, the unknown world.
Though I taught it so clearly, the one who says “it has nothing to do with me” has, fittingly, no bond at all with the condition that the subject who taught it clearly affirmed the truth taught. He must go to the dark world!
Where will the person go who, in the world he is to go to, looks upon the sunlight, then closes his eyes, turns around, and goes off?
Because he cannot go, in one place—how many are the moments in which one can discover one's own lonely self, able to lament for a hundred million ages?
The person called Moon, seated here, has not lived to this day, not knowing such things. Yang Chang-shik! (Yes.) The time to go to America has been extended; are you now bearing the responsibility for Korea? It is serious. People like us cannot set our minds at ease even if we try because we know. We cannot go even if we try, because we know. We cannot wish for someone to do it in our stead, because I know. It is because one knows by oneself who must go.
Because there is only me, even if they trample on me and despise me and call me worthless, what must I do? Though there be ten thousand kinds of toil, I must not collapse there. Only by knowing—discovering, in the very knowing, the connection to the nucleus that the original God holds fast—is it resolved; merely by my knowing alone, it absolutely cannot be. Mother is here too, but I do not go by listening to Mother's words. I do not listen to and consult anyone's words and then go. So it is serious.
What is the content by which one can become a True Parent?
It is to know completely, and, knowing whether the direction one now goes faces south or faces north, to know what must be done. Going at some degree out of 360 degrees, the center that can match the calibration of all those angles is “I.” If it is off, it all gets tangled.
On the 15th, God's liberation—what?
(It is the Coronation Ceremony of the Realm of God's Liberation, the King of Kings.) God's liberation and release, the King of Kings—He settles into the seat of the King of Kings.
Seen from above or seen from below, what of the 360-degree circle?
When the above goes to the below, it stands vertically, matching 90 degrees; it does not stand upside down.
That is why the soccer ball is precious. One must enter through the front gate; if one handles high and low at will, then though one shoots a hundred times, a thousand times, it is of no use. One who has read and knows the Principle cannot live as he pleases. I did not make this as a plaything. It is serious.
If what can be put into practice upon receiving directions from God is not done just so, the responsibility for that difference is mine to bear.
So there is the thing called the Constitution. The character “heon” (憲) — what is placed beneath the roof radical (宀)? Beneath what is the “heart” (心) placed? (The “heart” (心) beneath the character “four” (四).) Hyo-yul! (Yes.) Explain it clearly — the character “law, heon” (憲). (Beneath the roof radical (宀), the character “king, lord” (主) has entered, and the character “four” (四) has entered, and the character “heart” (心) has entered.) It is all in there. It is the King's heart of the Four Position Foundation.
The ages of history are the age of Adam, the age of Jesus, and the age of the returning Lord. Beyond the age of the returning Lord, the third Adam, the Unification Church speaks of the realm of the heart of the fourth Adam. It is not that Reverend Moon brings and attaches such words and speaks them at his pleasure. I must know how to write the text, know how to compose it, and know how to turn it inside out and explain it.
One Must Know That Heaven Is Adjusting It
When the globe turns, it is overturned. One clings upside down. Seen from the earth, it is right, but seen from Heaven, it is the reverse. Inside and outside must be the same.
The character “law, heon” (憲) is not the same inside and outside. When the roof radical (宀) goes down, the “heart” (心) must go up. So, inside and outside must be the same.
If you look at something like a soccer ball, because an unseen force has set it all so, matching 90 degrees throughout, what then?
If one place is even a little dented, it juts out. How is it that, being within a perfect ball and standing, the standing is positioned at the same place as the sphere? That is why, with highs and lows, it cannot be done.
If it becomes high and low—if it becomes above and below—the place of dwelling does not become 90 degrees. The middle has been removed. One must discover that.
Above-middle-below, left-middle-right! How does the left come first? Right-middle-left, front-middle. It must be thus. Because the middle of the three unites, it grows larger; and because this turns, the whole turns. The shell of this differs, and the three branches differ. It can turn together with the nucleus, and the nucleus is—what—of the boundless universe? It is the X (⨉) of mid-air, and unless there is, within the X (⨉), that which can become the O (〇), the X (⨉) cannot bore through and pass out.
In the matter of asking about the Principle, not knowing the fundamentals, one nods, thinking oneself great, and one is some Ambassador for Peace or some scrap of a president, they say. They are people the Teacher does not even think about.
One could say, “Ah, Reverend Moon! I came as the tributary king of such-and-such a nation; why won't he meet me?” — but, ptui…! The seat is off. The seat does not fit.
If it does not fit, both suffer loss. If both suffer loss and vanish, the universe vanishes, and there is no place to sit; so how is one to take a place to sit? Just anyone is not met.
People take this book to be a laughable thing, I say. A thunderbolt must strike them. It is a book that God follows. It is a book that Reverend Moon has followed and become one with.
Where will you go?
God is Parent, Teacher, and King. Removing the explained content and not becoming one, one cannot go where the Parent goes, cannot go where the Teacher goes, cannot go where the King goes. That is theoretical, so one must fit the theory.
Look. Confucian thought, the way of Confucius and Mencius—they say it is something great under heaven, but does it fit? What is Won Hyeong I Jeong? The going way of the original, intrinsic form is the way Heaven goes. It is said, “Won Hyeong I Jeong (元亨利貞) is the constancy of the Way of Heaven (天道之常).” “Constancy” (常) means it is always so. It means the form is so. That must fit Won Hyeong I Jeong.
Then it is said, “In Ui Ye Ji (仁義禮智) are the bonds of human nature (人性之綱)”—what is “In” (仁)? In Ui Ye Ji are the bonds of human nature! Can the two go separately? There is the Way of Heaven, and once you say “Heaven and Earth,” there the human matches it. It is the Parents of Heaven and Earth, but how do Heaven and Earth and Parents become one? Once you say “Heaven and Earth,” the “Human” must enter. There must be a center.
Who is the center?
Not God is the center, but the human is the center. Even God, if He does not have substance, cannot multiply within a point. When questioned, if one speaks the way of Confucius and Mencius, unable to give a single word of answer as to what the fundamental of the human being is, one is driven out from before Reverend Moon.
All the saints of the spiritual world serve Reverend Moon as more than a father, as the substitute for God; yet one cannot answer the question of why this must be so. One is blind!
The wholly blind and one blind, though the eyes appear normal, are the same. Is the completely blind not one blind, though the eyes appear normal?
If you go to Las Vegas, there is a goblin club there centered on blue eyes. Centered on a building said to be precious in the world, they built it symbolically, and that place is the goblin club of the Blue Eyes. They are goblins. The goblins are seated here, but they are constantly changing seats as they sit. From the X (⨉) place, they change and stand even in the O (〇) place. So, unrelated to the turning of the globe and the turning of the universe, they break off and frolic.
It is so for you, is it not?
One does not know that one is now clinging upside down to the earth. There are countless hundreds of millions of stars, and half of them stand upside down above the level. So, through the place that becomes an X (⨉), they are crossed over.
How will you fit that which is crossed over?
There must be a normal theoretical system, and what is the natural order? High and low are not the natural order. There must be a middle. Above-middle-below, right-middle-left, front-middle-rear.
This grows larger because the three unite. It can grow larger or smaller. If one makes such a theory blindly, does it fit? It is above-middle-below.
So, the water that falls from one standard—what is it always like?
When it falls centered on countless waters, unless it is 90 degrees centered on the level, there is no way to go. Through ten thousand years, small or large, where it falls, it falls at the place that becomes the nucleus of the universe.
Countless things fall, and if, through ten thousand years, they do not connect to the nucleus at the center of the universe, then, because the world of existence is denied, the logic arises that there can be no substantial existent of substantial form.
I Have Never Slept Stretched Out Squarely Before Heaven
The American president is Obama, but why is it said “Obama”? Is A good, or O (〇) good? Ah, i, u, e, o! To A, everything attaches; but to O (〇), nothing attaches. And to make things worse, how hard it is. Being at the tail-end, I do not match it! This does not come and match it. That is why — why “Obama”? Would one say “omana”? It is “Obama.”
Who founded Islam? (Muhammad, have you thought such a thought? Jesus! Is it “Yesu,” or “yes”? The “s” gets blocked off, but water (su) flows. Aha — the degree of heaven and earth was matched. Confucius (Gongja) — a son among the free (gongjja). What does that mean? It means that in the womb, for the first time, a free son arose. The spirit did not arise, but the form of a son arose. The shape is the same.
Is Chinese history not centered on the way of Confucius and Mencius?
The “Gong” of the way of Confucius and Mencius is the empty one, and the “Maeng” character connects with the “Myeong” character — is it not sun and moon? It is the character “bright” (明). Strange, is it not? The sun and the moon are bright. As for “Do” (道), it is the “head” (首) set upon the “road” (辶). Always the head, I say. Every being tries to become the head. Upon the road (辶), the head (首) sits.
Our great-granduncle was the head of the Chinese-classics scholars and the chief grandfather among those who communed through spiritual revelation; he was a friend of Dr. Rhee and of those who did the independence movement — Choe Nam-seon, Ham Tae-yeong, and the like. I learned that such a bond was formed in history, and I heard it said that my grandfather drafted the Declaration of Independence. As the grandfathers talked among themselves — as the elder grand-uncle and the younger grand-uncle talked — it was, “Here it is thus, and this thing is wrong. Our family is bound up in this; what shall we do about it?”
I was then a child, and at the time, I had grasped speech. Even if they spoke difficult words, what of it? Shin-jun understands everything his mother and father say. He understands, and when something is strange, he comes and asks, “Daddy...!” To his grandfather, he says “Daddy.” How am I his daddy? He says, “King-Daddy!” Aha — that child made up the name.
“King” (王) means the threading of three stages and being able to move at will, and it is King-Daddy and King-Mommy. His mother and father are Book-Mommy and Book-Daddy. If there is a book he wants to see at the library, he makes a fuss, telling his mom and dad to go and buy it. When asked, “Who owns this palace?” he says, “The owner of this palace is I.” He says, “Even Grandfather, if I were not here, would not exist, would he?” He means that he is the standard. He means he made his grandfather and grandmother model him. Aha—one does not know how fearsome it is.
One must know that he is served like God. If he cries or the like, this all shakes. When there is a quarrel, and it goes “snap,” there comes the sound of the pillar-place being cut. So it is fearsome. You all come in here and are glad, but I have not been able to sleep here at ease, with my limbs spread out. In my whole life, I have never slept in the shape of the character “great” (大), stretching out squarely before Heaven. Even when I try to sleep, I naturally lie on my heart. I must lie on the left side. Otherwise, I lie on the right side and, unable to stretch my limbs, sleep curled like a shrimp. It is so even now.
Sleeping so, I do not know whether I snored, but Mother says I snored all night. I heard the snoring sound, and within that snoring sound, a speaking voice can be heard. Listening quietly, it is of events that happened in such-and-such years since one was born.
Speaking from childhood, it strings together even prophecies of facts that will come to pass a hundred years hence. Because one knows the Principle, one knows that. “That gentleman is studying even at night!” — so it is said. I do not sleep.
Would the Teacher's snoring sound be small or loud? Within the snoring sound, as though the breath were stopping, it goes “ak,” and even reaching one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, it stops. At such a time, if you poke the side, it goes “eugh.” So, even in sleeping, a wife is needed, I say.
When God Created
So, Korean women braided their hair and twisted it up at the back.
With the hair let down, what is necessary?
If earwax blocks the ear canal and one cannot hear amid the many tiers of the household, it is a great calamity. Twice a month, one must dig out the earwax. Why? It gets blocked. If it is blocked, what then? I was a week ago! The left ear is gradually getting blocked. If this ear gets blocked, then next this ear will get blocked, I say.
After the ear gets blocked, what will happen next?
Thereafter, the eye will get blocked, and if the eye gets blocked, what will happen? The nose will get blocked. The nose can breathe even without the mouth and can feel even without the eyes. Try squeezing the nose. Squeeze it tight. Squeeze it tight and, with all your might, so that you cannot even breathe in, hh-hheup…! When you breathe in, do you close your eyes or open them?
Think about it. You open your eyes, and then you close your eyes. Eyes closed, you say, “Let the heart stop too, stop!” How does one breathe out? I am one who agonized to solve that problem. How does one breathe out? I say. At such a time, even if one is lying down, one must slap one's cheek. One strikes with this hand rather than this hand, and that pain must be smaller than the breath. When breathed in, it goes “ak.”
And one strikes from this side. And so, if there is acupuncture, striking the lower leg makes one spring up, I say. If one strikes the breathing-hole with a club, it goes “euing.” Only then does one breathe, I say.
Do you know that women die in the midst of love?
Do you know that the second son of the Rockefeller family died in the midst of love? Looking into the history, it is so. The two went to the climax, gave and received, were glad and excited, and went “hee-hee-hee, ha-ha-ha...!”
When God created, did He conceive the woman first, or conceive the man first? Answer, you thieves! Everyone is a thief. What kind of thieves? Thieves of love, thieves of life, thieves of lineage. Westerners do not know blood lineage. They are not human, then. That is why the word for the relation of incest among kin comes out. They live with their grandmother. The grandfather lives with the granddaughter. Are those who disregard the seven stages, the eight stages, of the order tiers human?
Having mixed it all up so, they say it is democracy, brotherhood-ism. Is democracy not brotherhood-ism? There is no waxing and waning crescent, no front and rear crescent.
What is democracy?
It is to think that concave and convex are all the same. So what has become of it? It is a human face, but a beast's heart. With a beast's heart behind a human face, they live with the queen, with the grandmother, with the mother, with their wife, and with their elder daughter or younger daughter.
Look. God's wife, and then the queen, the grandmother, the mother, the wife, and the elder and younger daughters—what of the person who violates seven women and lives with a beast? Will those sons and daughters make the heavenly kingdom, I say. These women have caused seven men to fall.
Look. The one, two, three, four, five, and six holes have gotten blocked, I say. Why does it become the number seven? When this is unraveled, one will say, “Aha—Reverend Moon is truly great!” What does “great” (widae) mean? In Korean, there is “daewi” (captain). In the military, why was it said, “daewi” (captain)?
When one goes to war, who dies most?
The platoon leader, the second lieutenant, the first lieutenant, and then the captain. It is the platoon leader, the company commander, the battalion commander.
From the battalion commander up, it is field-grade. It is major, lieutenant colonel, colonel. And then what? Going up to general, how many stages are there? In terms of stages: company-grade, three stages; field-grade, three stages; and then how many stages are the general officers? (Four stages: brigadier general, major general, lieutenant general, general.) Above the general, there is the marshal, I say. So one cannot cross the number twelve, the number thirteen. Only going up to the president does one match the number thirteen.
What is the number thirteen? It means the central number of the number twelve. When Westerners say “thirteen” — what? The best thing is the number thirteen, which everyone wishes for. Among the twelve disciples, Jesus was like the number thirteen. Because there was no number thirteen, a hole was bored, and one goes to hell. It means even the heavenly kingdom is turned into hell. Why does hell arise? Because Satan dragged the number thirteen down and overturned it, it is hell. This must be explained.
God, Who Cannot Disregard Bonds
Where are today's people from, you say? (We have come from Gangnam, Seoul.) The swallow that went to Gangnam (the south of the river) builds its nest in Gangbuk (the north of the river). The person who, having gathered money, lives in Gangnam, becomes a refugee who flees when the nation is challenged. The Teacher's words are right. Do not trust the women who went to Gangnam. They ought to return to God the money gathered with three men or more behind them; yet they pack their bundles and follow a free man—what do they mean to do? “Let us live merrily in a third ‘world’—that is it. It is fleeing.
Then why was the Han River called the Han River? It means that just anyone cannot cross the Han River. It is the only river, and a river of han. Historically, it is the Han River, and now, too, it is the Han River.
Of course, the North Han River and the South Han River unite to form the Han River. At the time of the June 25 War, it was the bridge of han. Why was that bridge cut? Who was the commander when it was cut?
Mother came out of North Korea and crossed the Han River bridge and was standing where the police substation was when that bridge fell with a “kwang!” they say. Though even the army could not cross, among the women of North Korea, a representative woman crossed. How old was Mother then? (Eight years old. —Mother.) It happened when she was eight years old, I say.
Crossing over there, on the right, there is the police substation. It is so. The chief of that substation is the elder brother of a friend of ours. Our friend is Kwak No-pil. God cannot disregard bonds. From my childhood, monks passing by would drop in at our house. Going around a road of forty ri, eighty ri, they would drop in. When asked, “Why do you drop in?” they would say their feet just came that way. Good heavens—their feet just came that way, they said.
People living in the north also came the opposite way and went this way, and people living in the south came this way and went this way. Crisscrossing, I say. So it was, “Let us meet someone at this house and go.” Our house is the Osan house. Originally, we lived in Osan. It is near the maternal grandparents' house, I say. The maternal grandparents' house was in Daeseong-dong, and the wood that had floated in on a flood and gathered would rot, 70 or 80 percent, and become like coal.
What is that called? Suddenly, the word won't come out! The wood rots, and the parts not fully rotted, the hard ones, are cut and burned in place of coal. The fire gives off no smoke and burns wonderfully well, I say. Telling such tales, there is no end. In the very topography of Daeseong-dong, Jeongju County, North Pyeongan Province, there dwells all the content by which the principles and rules for the providence of restoration can be unraveled.
The person called the Teacher is amusing, is he not?
When it was “Let us go to the Dallae Bridge over the Dallae River!” one went to the Dallae Bridge. One did not know where the Dallae Bridge was, but going to seek it, it was the Dallae Bridge.
What bridge is this?
On inquiry, it was a prophetic place matching the meaning of the providence of restoration in history. I did not know, of course. “Wait and see ten years hence! Such a thing will happen here.” Quietly, I asked them not to speak of such facts, like the nation's secrets, to just anyone.
When telling such tales—“Ten “years hence I will go to the Dallae Bridge” — even this I would say while looking all around, lest someone hear. So I made many prophecies. I dislike such things. A sound comes. The sound of thunder that had come from far away is heard as a person's speaking voice. “What you spoke of long ago, thus and thus, is a saying that fits today; so do not take the words of that time for strange words, but remember that you knew the words that were to be.” Saying this, it tells me not to say I did not know.
Everything you spoke of is certain to fit, and since there is only one owner whom it fits, you become that owner, I say. I knew, from the age of three or four, that the Teacher would become the Messiah. How was it at home with grandfather and grandmother, and what was grandfather's name? In speaking of history, the family comes out.
The Teacher's 90th-year birthday comes this time, and the 91st year is the road to seeking the 101st year. Is it nine nines are eighty-one (9×9=81), nine nines are a hundred and one (9×9=101), or nine nines are ninety-one (9×9=91)? Why is it 81? One makes a start by having come down one stage.
One Must Not Be Ignorant of the World of the Counterpart
Because one and two become the counterparts, it is three and four. When there are three, it is four. One must not be ignorant of the world of the counterpart, I say. If it is 4,000 years, one must know 5,000 years of history.
If 10,000 years, one must know a hundred million years of history, I say. Ten thousand times ten thousand is a hundred million, is it not? How many zeros are in a hundred million? Count them. (Eight.) That which has eight zeros is a hundred million.
Why is it that, to say a hundred million, it is nine places?
Nine nines are eighty-one (9×9=81). The nine places are a hundred million, and a hundred million plus one becomes a new “one.” It is three stages, a hundred million zero-one. Doing three stages, three stages, three stages, it is three threes are nine (3×3=9). The military's order is so too, is it not?
Why was the second lieutenant called a second lieutenant?
When one goes to war, the platoon leader must die first. Then the company commander and the battalion commander, but the field-grade is not so. They must die after the second lieutenant, the first lieutenant, and the captain have died.
The military is so too. Platoon leader, company commander, battalion commander, regiment commander — but where does the regiment commander connect (yeondae)? Not vertically, but horizontally, one must connect. Because countless foot soldiers are arrayed thus, with six stages, the seven places of the six stages cannot die here. Therefore, the commander must guard the tower of command and lead, I say. The military system is so. Even the counting of numbers expands from one to hundreds of millions, to trillions, to infinity.
The other day, who was it? Hwang Sun-jo has gone off somewhere! Who was the famous person who served as a National Assembly member from Jeju Island, Hyo-yul? (Do you mean the governor of Jeju?) I mean the one who served as a National Assembly member. There is a person I helped, you know. (Is it not the Yeosu assemblyman?) Is it Yeosu? (For Yeosu, it is Shin Sun-beom.) As the representative of Yeosu, that person served as a National Assembly member for the first time. Since you don't know it, there is no need for me to go out of my way to speak of it!
How many schools must there be here? (You spoke of four.) Count them. (Graduate school, university, middle-and-high school, elementary school, plus kindergarten.) Is it five, or how many? (Since university and graduate school enter as one, it is four.) Well, the primary school must enter! (These days it is called elementary school.)
Kindergarten, primary school, middle and high school, and university—but university and graduate school differ. Up to graduate school, it is five; there is nothing beyond five.
If, from there, one does not write a dissertation and produce a doctorate, one cannot go to the world of six.
So, the left, if it is the left, ends as the left, and their kingly authority does not arise. Leftism cannot, with the age of the individual, the age of the family, the age of the clan, the age of the people, the age of the nation, go beyond the limit of the nation. It cannot go to the age of the world.
That is why the saints and sages were sent as representatives who could save the world, not people sent to save a nation. Why did Confucius and Mencius speak of the moral order of the human world, I say? What astonished me? Our great-granduncle did this: the Book of Rites (禮記), centered on the etiquette of Confucianism, is in volumes one, two, and three, and that book is rare, he said. He knew who had it, he said.
He said the friend was one who would surely lend it if I wrote my name and asked to borrow that book for a few months; so, writing a letter, I went and borrowed that volume. I borrowed it—and what? That handwriting was worse than the Teacher wrote at five or six years of age. How keen the sense, the eye that sees! Even that, written every which way, fit top and bottom; and though the spacing was not measured, it was written matching precisely. In such things, he had a genius's natural gift.
Already, before entering primary school, having mastered the Thousand Character Classic of “Heaven (天), Earth (地)”—when it came to writing, it was better than print. How did that come to be, I say?
If my eye looks and it is off, the letters look hazy, I say. When the off thing is set straight and looked at, it looks clear. To write a character, if one finds the clear line of the brush tip and draws it crisply, it becomes fine penmanship.
The Providence Must End With Me
Even before entering primary school, what astonished my grandfather was that. Looking at the writing, he said it was better than his own. Grandfather was one of three brothers, and the eldest was Mun Chi-guk. Why did the character “nation” (國) enter? One must govern the nation. The younger brother was Mun Shin-guk.
One must believe in the nation. And then it was Mun Yun-guk. It was the character “to enrich” (潤)! Being Yun-guk, there was no lack. He could fulfill everything.
Therefore, it was that one must establish the nation. When I asked about that history, he would unravel the history, saying it was thus and thus.
There, five eldest grandsons were born, but only two remained. Three were gone. Of the two, the very youngest was you, he said. You are now the one responsible for establishing our family, it was said.
So what name was given?
Before the Teacher became Sun Myung centered on the providence of restoration, he was Yong-myeong, with the character “dragon” (龍) — Mun Yong-myeong. Not the blue dragon, Satan, who seized the authority of the world of the air, but the white dragon. There is the black dragon, the blue dragon, and the white dragon; the black dragon is the true chief of Satan's world, and China is the blue dragon, he said. Being the white dragon above the blue dragon, you must digest the whole land of China, it was said.
Such words I knew all before the ages of eight and nine. Where was Korea? Speaking of that time, it was within China's sphere of influence! It paid tribute. So, it was not that one pays tribute, but that I must receive tribute, it was said. When going to bow at the great-grandfather's grave, they set me in front and went. Why? You know that you are to become the root of the ancestors, it was said. Grandfather knew it too.
So it is absolute faith, absolute love, absolute obedience. God Himself believed in Adam and Eve more than anyone, loved them more than anyone, and sacrificed more than anyone in creating them, I say. The content I spoke of, threading through the three stages that nation and clan can do, is the very content of the Hoon Dok Hae we hold during this period this time.
Centered on that, do not ride over it and flee, but until the end, take it to heart—what?
It is an admonition that one must recite it, no matter how many times a day. Snap—at that very time, it is such content.
How can I evade it? When asked, “Who is the owner?” what would I say? It will not do to say God is the owner. Because God too is liberated because of me, I say. Because I am in the owner's seat, the real-world problem hangs upon it that I must liberate and release God, so the providence must end with me.
One Must Serve as the House of the Ancestors
When the 12th comes, the people who went to America return. Here is a day ahead, is it not? When it is the 12th here, what date is it on the other side? (The same day.) It is the 11th! When it is the 15th here, there it is the 14th.
So, if they do not come two days before, how busy it would be! It must be matched. It became evening, it became morning — what is said? It is not the second day. When night enters, it is the third day. Snap — matching the number three, one works.
Therefore, it being the 9th year of Cheon Il Guk, when one gives an explanation by which the three-age judgment—judgment by the Word, judgment by substance, judgment by heart—leaves out not one and fits inside and out in an orderly fashion, I said, “God, thank You.” Because the way I go is certain, tomorrow, the day after, three days hence, within a week—what? The providential view by which God works is the end; the history of humankind is the end; and to bring it to an end, the eight stages — the age of the individual, the age of the family, the age of the clan, the age of the people, the age of the nation, the age of the world, the age of the Cosmos, up to the age of God — are all the end. One cannot say no. Believe it is not so and try going.
One goes to the spiritual world, and that becomes the marker, and the new history is from there. The history of the True Parents who move, having become God, crosses beyond the number twelve by adding the number seven from the five of the separation of the five powers.
You will meet your ancestors. Those of more than seven generations back can come seeking at will. One must bear the responsibility to be able to attend them, I say. One must serve as the house of the ancestors, which can fit Heaven's law and the constitution. The ancestors are you. It is upside down. Is it right? (Yes.)
So, if the True Parents are the first generation of ancestors, who becomes the second generation?

What “ap” character is the “ap” of the Yalu (Amnok)? (The character “duck” (鴨).) And the “nok” character? (The character “green” (綠).) What bird is it that the two spouses live well together? (The mandarin duck.) Is it “wonhyang,” or “wonang”? (“Ang.”) It looks up and rises (앙=仰), does it not? It connects with such an “ang.” It is the mandarin duck.
The mallard is strong in vigor. It does not even sleep at night but catches and eats. The flock of wild geese sleeps when night comes, but the mallard pokes about even at night. Therefore, it eats in all four seasons. It raises its young most sturdily, I say.
So, do you know that among duck meats, the meat of the mallard is the most delicious? It catches and eats the swarms of maggots in the dirty water, the insects. It digests what cannot be digested. So it is healthy.
After the Treatise on Substance Comes the Treatise on the Original Image
The “Wolli Boncheron” (원리본체론) has come out. You don't know that, do you? In studying, from now on, when it becomes the age of the Parent UN, one teaches from the Parent. So there is a thing called the Wolli Boncheron. After the Treatise on Substance comes the Treatise on the Original Image (원상론). Before becoming the substance of the substantial, it is the Original Image. It is centered on how God grew up inwardly. God too has an infant age, a boyhood age, an age of maturity, and an age of old age.
And so, only when the Treatise on the Original Image, which has reached even the age at which one can have eternal life, comes out, does communist theory flee.
They cannot answer. Asked a hundred times, they cannot answer a hundred times. “If you don't know that, then what I say… On reflection, do you find it fits, or not?
That you became a dictatorial king and dictatorially opposed—did you know such a self of yours?” — When I ask this, they say they know. They did all that one ought not to do.
A purge (肅淸) means to cleanse purely. It means there is not even a shadow. There is not even ash. Does God do a purge, a people's tribunal? The laborers and farmers say they will make the king a servant. They say they will give suffering greater than what they themselves endured. To restore that through indemnity, entering the Treatise on the Original Image, the way one must go is absolute faith, absolute love, and absolute obedience. When asked, “Will you, liberated from hell, do that work, or not?” one cannot say one will not do it.
When asked, “You did it by threat, and now that even God comes out and threatens, will you not heed?” they say, “For ten thousand years, whatever the command, I cannot but render absolute obedience. Confined within a great wall built not of ten thousand ri but of a hundred million ri, the history of my betrayal cannot exist even in a dream; upholding the way of loyalty and filial piety, I will live and continue for a hundred million years even in the world of righteousness that is made anew, indeed!” — so it was said. From the conclusion, where all was questioned and answered, this work began.
Once the Textbooks Are Made
Today is the 9th day of the 9th year of Cheon Il Guk. As the final hour of Hoon Dok Hae draws near, here it is: the number ten, the number eleven, the number twelve. With 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, the absolute leftism of the communist world withdraws, I say. It has come up to the right's number six.

There, since there is nothing deficient and nothing unfinished, and everything is perfectly complete, it cannot but become an age of great peace, ten-thousand-fold Mansei, a hundred-million-fold Mansei, a trillion-fold Mansei, indeed! This is the conclusion. The Teacher's words are amusing, and at the same time, to study those words, one must unravel a thousand years of history.
(Shin-jun enters.) Give applause! Children like sweets, and since you have all come, having drawn me, what must be done?
