11th Life-based Children's Day
As you know, today is our 11th Children's Day, and we will reflect on how God has endured hardships for this day.
Had it not been for the fall of the first parents of humankind, there would surely have been a “God's Day,” “Parents' Day,” “Children's Day,” and “World's Day,” enabling humanity to fulfill God's ideal of creation.
However, due to the betrayal of Adam and Eve, the indivisible triangular and unified relationships between God, humanity, and creation were ruptured. This led to the loss of a joyful and glorious day for God, the True Parents, the True Children, and creation.
For its restoration, God and many sages have made sacrifices.
Consequently, based on such a process, externally, God has been enlarging the scope of the elect for the victorious foundation—Jewish, Christian, and world-level elect—while internally forming family, tribe, and race.
The historical process of suffering during the period between Adam and Jacob was for the revival of life-based on the original heart. The failure of Cain and Abel in offering sacrifices was restored through indemnity by bringing Esau to Jacob's knee.
Even though there was an external sphere of Israel based on Jacob's triumph, it was nearly impossible for the internal sphere of Israel to start. For its internal foundation, during the three generations of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Judah and Tamar began the struggle between Perez and Zerah in their mother's womb. In this struggle, Perez, the second son, made amends for the first son through his victory.
In such a historical course, Mary bore Jesus as the blessed successor of Heaven at the risk of her life and honor. Jesus thus became the origin of love, centering on God's begotten son. However, the Israelites, whom God had prepared for 4,000 years, were ignorant of their mission to welcome Jesus as the Messiah.
Their distrust of Jesus led him to endure a most miserable and troubled life. Mary, his mother, was not a woman he could love freely. Joseph, his father, was not a true father but a foster father. His brothers were half-blooded, and his relatives had no true connection with him.
God's elect, the Israelites, rebelled against Jesus' heart of love. As a result, they had to endure a course of indemnity, namely sacrifice, without forming a nation for 2,000 years. There is no discount in the history of indemnity.
If a race fails in its mission, it must go through a course of indemnity. If the race cannot resolve its problems, the world connected with the race must bear the burden. Judging from the historical process of indemnity, there remains the national and universal course of indemnity for our Unification Church.
As the Jewish order led the spiritual field of Israel and Christianity guided democracy worldwide, our Unification Church must assume the leadership of the ideological and spiritual fields of the modern and future world.
Then who, apart from us, can take charge of it? What is the current standpoint of the blessed family? The blessed family stands in the advanced position of the organized tribe centering on the Messiah, restoring the position of the Jewish order, which awaited the Messiah.

We must bear in mind that blessed families are more important than individual circumstances and must stand for their race, world, heaven, and earth. Essentially, the national religion was not meant to be under the dominion of Jesus but under the families centered on Jesus for the high priesthood.
You must understand the value of a family that stands for heaven. How can the heavenly tradition of the family be established to fulfill God's desire forever? That is the primary question.
The 1960s were a period for the base of individual victory, while the 1970s were a period of family victory. Now that we are in the third year of the second seven-year course, I have ordered all blessed families, including the 777 couples, to be mobilized for witnessing starting December 1, 1970.
The race should consist of families, and the nation should be formed based on family victory. In other words, the family is for the race, and the race is for the world. You must seek your tribe to establish a new tradition like your ancestors. As such, a time draws near, there will be a period of hardship for families.
Now, through the international wedding of 777 couples from 10 countries, a horizontal world base centering on the central figure has been established. Better fortune is with us now, from 1970 to 1972, and this is a watershed moment for the world.
This is the period of harvest for restoration, so we must establish the foundation of the world before the end of 1972. There can be no excuses. You must march forward by this order. Just like the North Korean refugees who crossed over the 38th parallel, let us move forward with determination toward the world of goodness.
When I left Pyongyang, I left with the faith that I would continue the process of suffering until I returned. I have longed for the day when I could celebrate the true emancipation of this country after driving out the communists in North Korea. You must be pioneers in this effort to drive out the communists.
There are many issues to address at the earliest possible date in the 1970s, including the construction of the HSA Headquarters, social activities, education, and more. At this point, you must say that even if you die, Providence will endure. Even if you experience family hardships, you must follow the Father's way.
The higher the mountain, the deeper the valley. To climb a high mountain, you must first cross a deep valley.
