Cheongpa-dong

The Former Headquarters Church (본부교회) in Cheongpa-dong, Seoul, was the original headquarters of the Unification Church from its early years until the movement relocated to the newly built Cheon Bok Gung in Yongsan around 2010. A modest building repurposed from the Japanese colonial era, it was regarded within the movement as its spiritual "hometown" (본향). Many of Sun Myung Moon's early sermons and prayers were delivered here.
